They like jumping, actually - but the very tall 6 feet and over fences in the highest level competitions are not good for the horses - they make them land at a bad angle, and that can hurt and damage their front legs.

I prefer names that I feel wouldn't look out of place in a comic book, after all.. It's a comic book world we inhabit!
So I have a catgirl Peacebringer called Tiger White, and she has another nom de plume she uses for one costume which has wings, KittyHawk.
Then I have a power suited hero called Olympiad Prime.
Then there's my energy blaster called Novastar...
And so on. Tiger White has always been my favourite though, especially as her hero name was arrived at via some pretty intense roleplay, so has meaning to the character. -
