  1. Thank goodness I went back to VIP August 26th. There are many people who did what I did and fluctuated back and forth from Premium to VIP. It is ridiculous that you are not making EVERYONE VIP at this point. You are deleting the game in two months. What does it matter what content people have access to? It's not like they can buy back into it.

I am still also very unhappy as to not knowing the real reason as to why this is happening and why no alternatives to keep this game running are not being considered by NCSoft. They refuse to even discuss the opportunity for a sale to another company. Whay are they being such hardasses? I've seen the reports online showing this game was still profitable and if NCSoft considers that too small to care about, that is their option. But why be so insane as to not make a sale out of it?

I will definitely never buy another NCSoft product and will encourage everyone I know to refrain from doing so. Not so much because of the decision to shut down, but more because it reeks of some behind the scene reasoning that probably borders on collusion between companies.

You want us all to smile and go gracefully into the sunset, but that is not who we all are. Many of us do want to know that real elusive answer to WHY?
  2. Sign in by 4pm sucks. Some of us have jobs (just a couple.) You should call it Freebie Friday afternoon.
  3. I liked C because it finally finishes off the saturn ring style shoulder option they've had for years but no other pieces to match it. The boots and gloves look like they would be a nice compliment.
  4. I understand the server has a capacity. It does not diminish the fact that I was very sad I could not play my regular characters on Virtue most of the weekend. Double xp weekend was finally gonna be my chance to get them out of the ruts of their current levels. I could not play them at all due to the servers being at full load. I now appreciate regualr xp much more and hope we don't have any double xp anytiem soon again.
  5. I'm shocked by how many people are giddy over this. It seems like the developers are taking all of the challenge out of this game. I liked the fact there was no hospital in the Hollows. It helps develop the players appreciation for the zones that have them. New story arcs are always fun, but there was enough content already to get players to the levels needed before moving on to bigger security level zones. There were many characters I had that outleveled the arcs before I could finish them, so why more is needed at this level is beyond me. I definitely will create a new toon and play the arcs to see how interesting it is, but I just don't see the need for it. If players don't like this zone as it is now because they have no patience for it, that's what radio mishes in Kings Row are for.
Leveling up will not be fun if the developers keep handing it over on a platter. XP smoothing for example, has made it less of an accomplishment to hit those tough levels like 40 and up. To the developers I just want to say please leave some of the content that requires some effort alone for those of us who want to feel like we are actually accomplishing something.
  6. Power customization is awesome - I had heard this rumored last January but was wondering if it would ever come to pass. I am a bit saddened that it is mainly for object wielding powers. Still it gives hope that someday I may be throwing pink fireballs, or giving out champagne colored bubbles to defend my teammates.
