Thank you all for your thoughts, i will post on this thread, on our website at all-out-war.guildportal.com and try to get the new events all posted on Mizz Nibbz calender on January 1st.

As for our PvP sg, we are still about a month away from having decent alts for it, most of them are only lvl 45 now. The sg and it's alts are only 6 weeks old, not enough time for us to work them up to speed since we still work on all our other alts as well.

To make things more interesting, we will allow mixed Hero and Villian teams but the prizes will still be given out in Influence only. PuG teams are allowed and ALL teams must register thier members at least 15 minutes before the event. To be held in RWZ.

ALL-OUT-WAR-DOMINATION (VG) has been reactivated this week and will begin to work on making Infamy for future events.

I am just picking on you kitty, not many realize that tornado is a pet. But yes, if you could go with multiple pets i would go with Fire/Illusion Troller maybe for Imps and Phantasms. I will post a build shortly just for this!

The New Year is upon us and i need advice. Since the Big Event did not go well i can do one of 3 things. You guys deserve to have some say in future events so...........

We have limited funds since the new system came in place. So AOW can:

1. Scrap the one day event and run multiple events each week such as 1st week of the month we have our monthly CC and hold a monthly 800 Million AE Challenge. Let us know which week is best for your sg.

2. Have a one day celebration as we planned for December but hold it January 17th. But then we are broke and wont be holding other events for awhile.

3. Compromise. We hold our monthly CC, Every 3 months hold a 800 Million AE Challenge, and January 17th hold one CC and a 4 Billion AE Challenge. I know this cutting the challenge in half seems mean but it allows AOW to keep some of it's funds to hold future events. We are trying to work on our PvP sg and need funds to hold future events and work on our alts.

Let us know what you think is best. Decision will be made by January 1st.

Yes the Challenges will allow open teams (PuG's of mixed SG's AND VG's) but all funds will be paid in Influence.

Budweiser, you have a huge say in this, Apochrypha says her team can match your team and would like to see a friendly rivalry. William Alexander is also throwing down the gauntlet. I am sure Dave Mebs has his team ready for anything as well.

AOW funds will be distributed between sg leaders so we will not have the same problem as before. If i cannot make it, there will be someone who can take over.

I think i was in game so long i started to get tunnel vision. I was so busy trying to fill empty spaces with events that i did not appreciate all the effort going on around me.

Budweiser, if Mod08 has any of those leftover words for dinner i'll share that meal with you.....after all the effort you put into helping, i deserve it. I should have had the other leaders prepped to keep things going, i was very short-sighted.

In the last 2 years i have been offline 3 days (total). I never expect to take any time off. This past week i have had to deal with cold snaps, power loss, lost connection, and family matters. I was gone about 7 days.

You have a right to be upset the events scheduled did not occur. Please do not take it out on AOW members, i messed up, i was responsible.

There is one AOW member who has access to my account but it seems to have forgotten this or may have been nervous about accessing my account without my knowledge. This person has always had my trust. As for William filling in, he was knocked offline as well, he lives in my area.

To make everything simpler, i should have distributed the funds to other sg leaders, but i wasnt sure who would be able to make it in the morning. This is a lame excuse and i will transfer funds to other leaders over the next 2 weeks so this never happens again.

I am sorry to build up your hopes, then take away your fun, that was not my intention. I only play this game to make the game more fun and exciting, and if i'm not doing a good job of it, i will respect your decision to "set me straight"!

Warning! Felecia has a temper, so go easy on the "set me straight" part. I maybe divine, but even the divine have a tendancy to bring forth floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, and plagues when insulted (yes this last paragraph is meant as a bit of humour)

As long as i am doing this i should give recognition to those i have been a real B17CH to lately, who deserve better. You guys have done lots for the server and i have not been showing you the respect you deserve.

- Budweiser: (you do a lot for PvP and i am sure your PoN team would have rocked the AE Challenge, we will have challenges in the future) Your test run times were far superior to any of the other teams.
- Amygdala: i have not been mean to you, i really respect you, but i have not been supporting you either. You do alot for the server.
- Mizz Nibblez: You were trying to keep decorum on UHB Channel and i stepped over the line, i hope you will forgive me.
- CriticalCat: You and i have not agreed on alot in the past but i think thats because you and i are alot alike. We are both passionate and strong willed. Champion is like our second home.
- Cherry: You and i have different opinions of what an sg should be and how it should be run, but niether of us is wronge. I see you want to do more for the server and have joined PERC, congratz, and good luck. Getting involved shows your desire to improve the server.

Talon Arsenal is well known on the forums and has offered to be a judge for the CC's tomorrow if he is not dealing with RL. It is much appreciated. So now you know who to bribe (wink).

PHIRE has been missing lately. He was one of our AE Challenge testers and it has been a bit hard without his knowledge. I hope he returns soon, simply because he is a wonderful hero.

Undead Cyborg is rejuvinating PvP on this server, i want to thank you for allowing me access to your insights on PvP. His sg has a forum on the subject.

I did tell you Cat we were willing to give funds when we had e-mails going back in forth, if you want to know exactly when the offer was made, it was the same day 4shes said he was running pvp events. AOW donated 100 million to his first event. The next day Budweiser dropped 500 Million into the pot. Does any of this ring a bell? It was during the summer i think.

As for PERC, i made the offer to Dazz Marvelous and the quote about PERC saying they had adequate funding and thought events should have people come out for fun and not big profits came directly from him.

Even if no one remembers this, it doesnt matter, AOW has volunteered to fund events if they are beneficial to everyone and not a small select group. We offered extra funds to 4shes and for The Mighty Writer's Contest this past year. Neither 4shes or Mighty has any association with AOW.

Earlier this year we started a thread asking what events you would like to see. We are still open to suggestions, or if Cat has events that will be good for everyone as opposed to the same usual PvPers, we would be willing to help out still.

Forgot to address Elf-Stalkers question:

ALL-OUT-WAR-RAIDERS (PvP division) is now 1 month old. Yes, that is correct - 1 month. So our main group of alts are now level 35-45. We will not be ready obviously to do any serious pvp at our anniversary but January we should have close to 30 new pvp'ers ready for action. We have had some vets join with level 50's who might show up and put on a good show this sunday. We will just have to see what happens. Even if no AOW compete the event will still go on as long as enough people show up.

I see a lot of honest posts full of wisdom, especially coming from CriticalCat.

I just read the last 3 pages, so my comments are from that point on.

AOW is mentioned many times simply because we needed a title for the event and since AOW is the group that puts the funds together and hosts it, thats the name that goes with it.

AOW and myself had no intentions of replacing events or putting them down, and if you read past posts we never did say you guys did not contribute greatly. What we did say was - there should be lots of MORE fun events on the server and we are here to help make that happen!

You can argue i did speak against PvPEC, but what i was saying is - there should be 2 seperate events, one for vets and one for noobs. That's just my personal opinion.

If you think my name conjures up visions of Dramafire, then simply ignore me and talk about the events. I am not looking for your approval, i am looking to have more fun events for people.

I made offers to PERC and PvPEC to fund events and leave the AOW name out of it but i was turned down, so.................only one thing left to do..............continue running AOW Events.

Either show up and have fun or don't, your choice, the events will continue for the enjoyment of everyone.

When hosting events i am unbaised and many people i don't consider team material still end up winning lots of events. In a CC your costume and bio speaks for you and that's what i judge you on, it doesnt matter if we get along or not, your at the event to have a good time and show off what you can do. IT IS YOUR MOMENT TO SHINE!

Addendum: PERC and PvPEC turned me down because they did not feel the need for bigger prizes, they felt that what they offered was reasonable enough and people should come out to events mainly because they want to have fun. It should not be all about money. They do have a valid point, but i think having larger prizes or more prizes gives people more of a reason to come out. This topic might be a good discussion for another thread.

First off.....Villians were NOT origionally invited. People with villians protested in our origional threads - 80 and 800 Million AE Challenge.

With 3 months to prep and listening to Villians say they would not unbalance the event we agreed to let them come (we thought we could come up with Infamy). Now it has become crystal clear that villians WOULD unbalance the event and since AOW is a SG not a VG and i had no support getting the Infamy myself Villians are now excluded.

You cannot see things from my perspective because 1. you never tried to do this kind of event and 2. you never tried to raise 2 Billion Infamy for an event.

As for the balance problem, if you want to see what i am talking about instead of posting nonesense, run the mission - The Army Of Dragons with a team of corrupters, dominators and brutes. Then run it solo with a Stalker. Then run it with a MM or a team of MM's. You will finally see what i mean about balance. The lone stalker will beat the event in approximately 45 minutes while the other teams wont be able to complete it at all.

Trying to write a challenge that is 30-60 minutes long that can challenge vets but not frustrate noobs is not easy. If you think it is, just try it!

I appreciate all the comments from both sides.

I just want to make it clear that AOW is a SG! We DO NOT have experience running events that include villians. Since it is our "SG" Anniversary we want events to run smoothly for the enjoyment of our members AND the hero community.

Those who play villians have a very valid point. They too have a right to come to events even if there are not very many of them. They want to have fun and enjoy themselves as well. They work just as hard on thier characters as heroes do.

In the new year AOW will host events for both sides!

I want the event to run fast and with as few problems as possible.

Villians add a lot of questions to the event. One was about payout and if the villz would accept infamy i agree with all of you it would not be a problem, but there would be complications such as what if you bring your vill friends or someone brings a vill team and does not have a hero alt at the last minute?

Will you have your villz and heroes already in RWZ so we don't have to wait for the alts to be logged in and arrive for payment, because then we will run into the time scheduled for the next event!

It just makes sense to exclude the villians at this point. I have run many successful events and that is because i try to make it simple.

If i had seen or run a hero/vill event before i would not be concerned, but i see the possiblity of lots of things going wronge and i am trying to make sure everything runs smoothly so you all can enjoy yourselves.

We will run another 800 Million AE Challenge early in the new year and invite villians since we will have more time to allow for any problems but with a full day of events i feel this is not the time to experiment.

I have to agree, Patriot-Man is on alot and is always great to talk to. Undead Cyborg is a great guy to team with so i hope you get into Hammers of Justice. If you PvP, UC can help you there as well. Welcome to Champion server, if you need a teammate i am on alot and easy to find.

Some of my alts are Divine Witch, Divine Stormbringer, D1V1N3 0N3, Praetorian Plague, Lunatik Frenzy and R4P4 (Rapa).

If you like to do TF's get on BMT but i recommend you try to get on UHB channel if you can, lots of great players are on that channel.

I did point out a month ago in another thread when people were asking villians to be included that AOW was an SG not a VG and getting Infamy was not going to be easy. It is not easy, especially when no one helps you. So no infamy = no payout for the event (sorry you cant figure that out for yourselves).

You guys want more excitment and events, then go all out to make sure no one goes to it (who is the psychotic one?). So if none of you have any common sense, then plz dont come to these events. Unless your going to contribute something positive quit posting.

Villians have been excluded - Heroes ONLY! This is because no villians have helped me get infamy and i am not spending all my time farming for you guys (you dont deserve an event for villians).

AOW promotes all aspects of CoH including PvP. I personally dont like PvP'ers due to thier aggressive dont care about others attitude. I have discovered PvP players are organizing to help each other swing matches so certain players win the prizes. Like a said PvP'ers generally lack morals! So the PvP events will now be a 1 on 1 elimination style.

I am not trying to be insulting, i am just pointing out what should be obvious to you guys. If you constantly show bad behaviour then i will call you out on it. Use some common sense and we will get along fine.
