Time spent with family is time spent well. TV, Computer, listening to music, outside play...

All of that is the same thing when you get down to it...time well spent.

When Sister Flame graduates into Lady Flame, she will look back on these times as any kid grown would...fondly and nostalgicly (sp).

As you will and likely already do, I know I would be missing them (the times) before they ended.

Time spent with children doing activities together shows you little hints of who they were, are, and will become.

I envy all of you who are getting to spend time with your children this way, I truly do.

However much I may envy it, I still have the most genuine smile on my face that will be there for quite some time.

Sometimes folks dont know what they start when they write a thread like this...sometimes they do. Threads like this are defining for playerbases. I know I will have alot more patience and good will in game.

Because I am not grouped with someone named Sister Flame...does not mean I am not "popping" bad guys alongside another young mind.

This new look is great. I am not sure what some folks were talking about with not being able to find anything...I found everything quite easily.

And I am not the sharpest spoon in the happy meal.

you know, i like this event. I had a blast last night running around healing folks fighting zombie raids.

I DID manage to get 4 spirits in a row last night...IN A ROW! lol, I felt like a god for all of 2 minutes till the werewolf charged out behind the last one and ripped me apart. :P

But, what I am getting at is this, many of us like this event. Its a low spawn rate for ghosts. Why not extend it another few to several days.

Give some of the badgeheads a chance to grab the badge...or at least a somewhat larger chance.

Oh, and standing on a tall building...during a zombie attack...right near the edge...

Its so funny to see the zombies spawn and fall many..many..many stories.

I have been having a blast.

Couple of issues...one more problematic than the other.

I have been getting few ghosts as others have said...but everything seems hunky dory on the hero side of Liberty.

However, on the villain side of liberty, I have ToT'd for hours and only come up with Statesman Masks...3 of them...

On the Hero side, I can take my main out and have 3 full sets in like...an hour.

It MAY not be the game though...I am a case study for Murphy's Law...

The day job benefits are not going to be game breaking buffs or anything I would wager. It provides a way to round out the background on your character, and gives some rinky dink reward that you are going to use to do the same things you did before having it.

The story arc-hitect thing sounds so sweet. I cant wait till a few months or so after release when they get to tweaking it more and perfecting it.

All in all, I look forward to this issue alot.

Every time an MMO creates a holiday event....to give the playerbase a little injection of the fun most of us have had during these holidays as kids...people complain, complain, complain.


I am sure there are many reasons for the timers on the doors...one being, they are in place so jack [censored] griefers or wannabe comedians don't run up to your door, click 50 times and watch gleefully as you are mowed down by mobs.



To call the Halloween events boring, repetitive, and the same thing every year is probably thinking that is parallel to why young adults STOP trick or treating eventually...because it IS boring to lots of adults....it IS a type of repetition that only kids seem to ignore fully.




The costumes are temporary for likely very simple reasoning...did YOU create that Halloween costume as your character's super hero costume? No, you didn't. Why should they make it possible for 500 people to run around as the pirate from scooby doo? Answer: They shouldn't, and they didn't.

Thank the gods that the devs in their infinite wisdom decided not to keep the costumes as permanent, keep a 60 sec. timer on the doors, and realized that no matter what they do...not everyone will be happy nor entertained by their efforts.



On a side note, I would like to thank all the developers and gm's for making this a fun Halloween event. It has kept me entertained.

FWIW-- I suggest to the poster who saw a decline in treat quality at just the one door to find a nice quiet area where you have two or three doors within a small distance from each other. Then work those doors alternately. Seems like just a bad bit o'luck there though...no bug if you ask me.


And also FWIW--

I just got my extra costume slot! Woot! My first one with any char. :P

Now I can actually give my main an "Incognito" costume.

This has been a fun time for sure. Thanks to all the virtue folks who are patiently helping all the noobs like me. You folks are awesome

Have been having fun with this event, up to about 25 costumes, plus I think I only need the recluse mask to complete my set.

For anyone still having trouble finding Annah in Croatoa....after you get off the Tram, head south to the wall....be careful and stick to the eastern side of the southern wall, as there are some mobs on the western side of the southern wall that will not take kindly to lower level players.

I like the halloween event quite a bit, its nice to have these types of events to look forward to for when things get a little stale.
