    Arch/Elec

I recently made an Arch/Elec blaster that is now level 37. I dont have mids so I really dont know how im going to slot it. I want to have a good recharge time, and enough survivability to kill a mob before it can kill me. Any ideas?
    Please help!
  2. A MESSAGE TO ALL WHO DONT LIKE PvP BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GOOD(CAPS FTW) OR BECAUSE THEY THINK YOU NEED SPECIFIC BUILDS FOR IT: Just look at me. I roll the ********* builds and go into pvp with a good attitude, and fair very well, even without IO's. so itsss alll goood, if you just dont like it fine, but if u dont like it because u suck at it, try again.

    (im a noob also)

Hell, a few weeks back I ended up jumping into an amusing 2v1 arena match: Spines/WP and WP/SS against my Rad/Psi, and I ended up winning 5-0 in 10 minutes. Some of the stuff they were saying was hilarious - "You only won because you move around" or "You only won because you use inspirations." Hell, there've been times on my Spines/Regen where I've been yelled at in broadcast because "melee ATs aren't supposed to kite."
Ha, I just respeced my Spines/fire scrapper for pvp, all i do is jump around using impale, laser beam eyes and spine throw, so much fun being a blaster that has suriviability, its good too.

    Kat/sr for pvp?

Stalker or Scrap? cause i have a stalker, its decent, i usually just chill in sirens though and as in teams, im not built to well, no self heal, but with divine avalanche u can get ur defence reallly high.
  8. Okay, I respecd, and in sirens i have all reflex powers but Elude, and let me tell you, it is incredible, u hit and run, if u and a partner dont finish the kill, slice with divine avalanche, and ur untouchable, u can pretty much As a target in Rain of fire with 40% aoe defence. I love the build, funny how i loved it yesterday but hated the death rate. So Much Fun. Thanks for your tip on this but i think this is my perma stalk . Went up 50 rep today and got an io so im pleased .
  9. I pvp...Alot... I know im not the best because I roll crappy builds. When AE was in its prime(in terms of exp, before the nerfs) i got a NIN/SR stalker to level 38 in one day. Since then have only played it in PvP. It is now level 42. This may seem sad to you, as it does to me, but i can only kill when grouped up with at least one other player. Once I strike with AS, and my hide is broken, I am immediately killed by blasters due to the level of suckage in /SR. I was wondering if someone could post a sample build for me that they use in pvp (MAINLY SIRENS), it would help alot.

Also, I recently rolled a BS/WP stalker which is now level 15. Should i level that one and pvp with it instead of the NIN/SR, or get my NIN/SR to 50. Take into account that Dbl exp weekend is in a week, and IMO both builds have the same gameplay, so its not really opinion based, i find them the same in pve. (just recently hit 100 rep after long time).

To go off topic.... why would someone take claws on a brute... seems a little weak to me(compared to builds such as SS, stone and elec.

yes thats what i meant, but immediatly after rejected my own idea on said subject.

    Ultimate respec

I was just reading along on some other posts (mainly about colour changing and a thought occured to me. A grueling Respec trial, in which all missions must be completed and no speeding through can take place. This trial would be rewarding in drops, and have many AVs. It would take quite a bit of time. The reward i had in mind.... changing your secondary or primary power, i was thinking both but that seemed to much. I doubt this idea will go through, and am assuming you have seen it before. I believe a secondary change would be more prefered as primary i feel is going to far. This trial should be for level 50s only, who have been at level 50 for at least 2 weeks, and would maybe cost influence/infamy, thats up to you to decide.... if it gets passed through.

I was also thinking that after choosing your new secondary, you could keep one build with the old secondary and one with the new, so you could have a Stone/ SS tanker and a Fire/ss tanker at your disposal from one character...(the fact that this defeats the purpose of being a hero with 'unique' power's just occurred to me as i was typing, that statement is only regarding this last paragraph, and it defeats the single power set of a hero. I still belive the respec should change your secondary however, if the player wants. primary is your desicion.

its late im tired, and i appologize for the unnorganized writing form and messy grammer.

    Gladiator idea

I posted this in the wrong place before so here it is copy and pasted, word for word of what i said.

"I am new to the forums so I am not sure if there is a better place to put this. Recently while pvping a random game feature with some good potential came to mind. A gladiator based arena game, but instead of using gladiator npcs from badges, you use your alt characters.

Seeing as some are more hardcore than others, and some only play melee, whilst some only range, I was thinking that there would be the option of whether to use IO's or not. Further more, due to the issue above, I was thinking of a max of 2 characters from each archetype with a maximum of 8 characters. It would be like watching a group of Avs fight, but they look exactly like you. I know this would not be the easiest thing together, but i discussed it with some friends and they thought it would be cool.
I hope this thread does not get deleted due to some irrelevance, and wish that the dev team will take a look into it because it would be really sick.
  13. I have recently Made a Fire/Regen scrapper with the sole purpose of pvp. Currently it is only level 5 but I love it, I believe it has Fire Sword, Cremate, Reconstruction and fast healing. I would appreciate if someone could post a sample build attached to this thread. I do not have the hero builder so i cant copy and paste the huge box of random letter configurations like other people do. Thanks to all who help out!

Um, dude, I've made many stalkers, and generally when you make a stalker its for PvP, i find this much more fun then PvE for a stalker, because they generally have low AoE damage, as there AoEs are replaced with placate. So in my opinion after the many stalkers I've created and deleted, they do not play like a scrapper at all. Most of the time you will be in PvP zone, and all the time you will be using the same attack chain (AS+placate+Most powerful form of primary damage). The fact stalkers are usually built for PvP is highly arguable but if we were to take a tally to 80-90% would say its true. I know i have gone slightly off the topic of stalkers=scrappers but this is the major factor in their difference. The most scrapper like build is Brutes, this is not an opion it is fact. They get the same Melee powers and armors as tankers, but the melees are primaries and the shields(not the literal meaning) are secondaries. Tankers defensive powers generally have a 10% higher base resistance than brutes, but brutes have a higher damage output with or without fury, even though fury is juicy and multiplies that greatly. I know reading this may have been boring and you probably already made your desicion, but STALKS ARE NOT AT ALL LIKE SCRAPS... except the power set similarities, its a whole different game play. Now dont get me wrong, I love the whole PvP thing and the stalker gametype, you should definitly try it, but its not nearly as "scrapperish" as a brute.
