Just finished the inks. I butched the hair on the girl but other then that I love this piece so far.
The young couple inks -
I haven't been doing alot of super hero art lately. But this may help with that.
I was contacted by a friend of mine to do a picture for him and his fiancé as an anniversary present. They're pretty goofy so they wanted it in a cartoonish style. This is the rough that I've come up with so far.
There are some kinda hard to see circles and arrows on there of parts I know that I want to fix.
Without further adieu,
(so much french in this post)
I give you the young couple
Now I'm hoping that maybe this will motivate me to start taking commissions because 1) I need the money and 2) it was alot of fun doing this. -

I agree with ProfessorBlues, it's very thought provoking. It reminds me of one thought process that goes through my head whenever I see a huge swarm of people (highways, malls, schools, work, etc):
Every one of these people is a person, they each have their own life / friends / connections / problems / joys / etc, just like I do.
No matter how many times it passes through my mind, I can't help but be astonished at how small I really feel in this world.

This kind of gave me an idea about how to continue with the story a bit further though I've done no more work on it yet.
I'll keep you updated as it progresses further. -
Help me with my writing, or atleast like to read at it.
I had to write this for an exam I did the other day where time was limited so I didn't really have time to refine it but I'm really thinking of continuing this further. There's no title yet and this is basically just an intro so far.

Driving alone down the highway gives you time to think. You think about the gravel that dances under your chassis as you race over it. You think about the dark cloud off in the distance, rumbling low and ominous and you think
"How are my wipers?".
You think about the great brown hawk gliding effortlessly from tree branch to power lines and wonder if man could make the same adjustments and survive. Not only survive but begin to thrive again, after our cell phones, computers and pre-packaged, processed, store bought food had all been lost. You think about your place in the universe and whether or not you or the things you do are really important, if they make a difference. You go on this way, thinking, wondering until you come to your on ramp. The closer you get to home and away from the open roads and the freedom, you think
"Will I make it home in time for friends?"

The writing style reminds me of Chuck Palahniuk (mostly known for fight club). And there's definatly something I'm trying to get across in it. Any thoughts on the writing? -
Guh sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I've been really busy lately with exams and I got my first ever commission so I've been working pretty hard on that.
That aside I LOVE this angle mist, I really do. And the charcol looks great. I've never really liked charcol as it tends to get everywhere but I love what you've done with it here. -
oh wow I really liked the old one despite your protests but this angle is simply amazing.
Really great job.
