    Random base kick

    had the base crash my client on entry, i've also had the base entrance be outside the base map, that was quite cool flying round outside - running round on the grid floor makes it a very holodeck experience
  3. last night has again shown the unpredictable nature of RL at the moment, as this is set to continue for several months rather than mess anyone around any further we've decided that we should pull out of our commitments here to concentrate on the things that have become more important than CoH.

    I can only apologise for not being able to get to the missed weeks and not making this decision sooner.

    Thank you for the teaming up on the tuesdays, its been good fun, hopefully see you in game to team some time.

  4. aye sub 20 tanks can be painful.

  6. looking good to be able to finish around the right time today, what time we meeting up?
  7. my advice would be to remove an attack out the cycle and redistribute the slots with end rec on the attacks/toggles left (use that power slot to start fitness), or go to 5 slotting with your toggles slotting just for end recovery until 18/20 or so's

    bring the 3rd attack back in at 22ish and eventually go for the 2end/3res in toggles uill 30ish then respec and drop tehm to 4 slots.

    I'd recommend anyone try it - if you dont like MoG then you could put Touch of Fear in there instead

    Human/Dwarf WS

    for me my human/dwarf was all about the gravity emination + inky aspect, these two powers that for every fight the whole mob group was dazed and the boss held/dead ready to explode with unchain essense.

  13. if this is human only or human/dwarf (as per other thread) i'd reconsider the gravity well and gravitic emenation powers, both of these i ended up heavily slotting on my dual form WS, both got 3 recharge, well got 2 acc and 1 hold, emanation got 2 acc.

    starless step i never took

    inky aspect i had 2 acc 1 end (or was it the otherway round, hmm), certainly 1 of each at least

    we've got two groups coalitioned and for whatever reason we always seem to put our alts and play them thru to 32 in the other SG
  20. took a serious scrapping of the previous base and complete reconstruction to get it to fit on a 12x8

    its right on the edge of power as we havent invested the prestige in the turbine gen, i dont thinkw ehave the prestige for it yet

    i dont think they are working as they dont draw power or control from the base whether they are there or not, so i dont think its just the attach message thats bugged. can check tonight for sure
  23. the chaos is good - you have a strong character there, the player who inspired me to play SR was a katana SR

    once you've got your toggles up to strength SR is amazing good fun

    what helps make sense of it? hmm tricky one, but in essence i'd look at it as what would take you out first if you were a squishy? aim for those first, although you wont ever get thanks for good scrapping as someones said earlier a scraper pinning down the squishy danger mobs is a really good role to slot into.

    other things i'd try to do (although this is where my opinion differs from plenty scrappers), is not boss lock, by this i mean dont just select the boss first and hit till dead, the tanks and togglers will use this mob to debuff and taunt anchor off, if you kill it it means more time the mobs are not debuffed.

    what i'd recommend is getting used to squishy protection - so take out the juicers, the holders, the stunners the sappers, and follow the tank, kill all the Minions then the LT's then the Bosses, this way your tank will very very quickly get less total incoming damage on them.

    so in a way you protect the tank from taking too much on, and culling the minions fast also allows them to keep at their aggro cap on the rest of the group - safer for team and country

    at least thats what i try to do and it works pretty well so far
