    There have been at least 2 other threads where players have also stated they have been getting pr0n in their emails too. One deleted and the other locked I think.
  4. I am glad you made this topic because I wanted to know what you guys are going to do about all the pr0n e-mail spam we are getting now in game. I see the whole pr0n spam as being 10x worse than the RMT stuff because that could mean alot of people canceling their accounts the first time one of their kids gets one of these emails and goes to the site. If you guys are doing something about this in issue 12 you might as well discuss it now instead of waiting for it to go live that way we have something to look forward to.

    You can get the stuff either way, you just are restricted to mostly lvl 50 stuff or you gotta pay thru the nose to get it. The stuff is mostly there. I was mostly talking about the stuff in the lower ranges. I tend to buy all my procs and uniques at the lowest possible level so the toon that gets it can get more use out of it on the way to lvl 50.
  7. In all honesty I only see the problem for both sides is just pool c rares being borked. If they had scaled the drops based on powers available in the game we would not be in this mess right now or at least it wouldnt be so bad. I do think for blue side in the early levels with the insane luck charm prices might get in check if the new zone has arcane mobs that arent too mez heavy. As for the end game salvage costs and such, I think it is reasonable now because the amount of time you put into hunting to get said salvage is almost about equal to getting the inf to pay for it at lvl 50. The only players that are truely at a disadvantage are those who play support sets such as empathy or force fields (non-masterminds). Now I do like the suggestion of a team salvage streak breaker thingie because that is definately something the teams need to keep it fair. Also I say they should up drop rates a little on teams as well.

    Easy answer, they hold alot of the ATs to double standards. We have asked but have never gotten a solid answer as to why stalkers couldnt get QR in regen or wp but it was so ok for brutes to get it in their version of WP when it is totally clear that endurance was one of the limiting factors in brute balance. Practically all their sets were end hogs. We were never given a reason when ask why no villain ATs could get the "real" build up power while scrappers/blasters remain the only ATs that get this when it is clear that stalkers should get this too. Just for once I would love for villains to be good at something that heroes arent good at and have it matter in pve.

    The plan, so far as I know, is for all appropriate sets to be ported in one form or another. So, eventually, Melee types should have access to all the melee sets (caveat: I'm pushing for Stalkers NOT to get the Shield set, since the powers as planned don't work too well, thematically or practically), Buff/Debuff ATs should have access to the powers in all the Buff/Debuff sets (even if they look and sound slightly different in some cases!) etc.

    What does this plan mean, really? Buy stock in Tylenol...I'll singlehandedly be increasing their profitability! Well, maybe not singlehandedly...I'm sure the new guys will be pulling their hair out, too!

    I would rather stalkers not get the shield set too if you know for a fact it isnt going to work ahead of time. The last thing we stalkers need is another half [censored] powerset that flat out just doesnt work for us. All that does is get us more pissed at you and Positron for letting it even happen (points finger at Dual Blades and Willpower). I honestly feel those 2 sets were butchered for stalkers due to the way the AT plays. Personally I would have rather just not gotten it at all. I just hope whatever future fixes you got for stalkers you keep this in mind that we are hurting and hurting bad because we suck so bad on teams and the new sets dont seem to make this problem any better.

    So unless you are talking like less than defender level damage I just dont see how. Damage will suck so bad no one will want to play it anyways?
  11. Normally I am the last person to call something overpowered but it is official the devs are truely smoking crack. Looking at what all the other blaster secondaries can do this is just flat out insane. They get a regular nuke, drain psyche and PSW, and hell I dont even want to talk about the new powers. All I can say is with all that how can anyone talk about balance whether it is pve or pvp.

    Whether it is resist or defense it doesnt matter, Fury is built by the tohit checks against the brute not whether or not the attacks land. So you can get attacked all day by level 1 hellions as a lvl 50 brute and not get hit and have high fury. This is so easy to test just try it.

    Seriously have you ever played a villain? Even looking at this totally from a pve perspective you can see the biasness that the devs have towards villains. Heroes get the best buff villains sets. With Power Boost those sets get to be even better. Secondly look at the Patron powers vs the Epics, look at the overall design of the STF vs LRSF. One requires a balanced team to succeed easier the other requires a team heavily skewed with certain builds to succeed easier. Really to me aside from Battle Axe and Storm powers going villainside, villains were royally screwed if you cant see that then you are playing a totally different game than the rest of us.

    LoL@ Elec/Elec Stalkers, Earth/Elec Doms. I can see doms killing themselves if they get chain induction and pair it with Mind or Plant.
  15. How long before we actually get to see the power list for each set? It is nice to know what sets we get but I got the feeling it wont be just straight ports on alot of this stuff. Based on what we saw on this site, I am just going to be nice and not say anything about how I really think about this news but know this alot of villains are crying right about now.

    That is exactly how it happened on South Park, Eric Cartman had Butters to memorize where he was but he forgot to get him and the snow covered the part where he was buried so there was no way to know for sure where he was.

    Man, I remember when the Outcasts had their powers at level 5. They need to get them back now that we have solo spawns. I have to admit, I'll miss the old Hollows, but it's still for the good of the game not to have a newbie zone so hard.

    [/ QUOTE ]I hated that too. To me those powers were a very important part of the game for newbie players to see. For controllers and storm summoners they get to see what their hard work would pay off in the end with those pets.

    How does what you're asking for make any sense at all except that it fulfills our desire for instant gratification?

    No one with any sense ever doles out information meant to excite people with the best, most interesting news first. You give out the little things and work your way up to the best, most interesting stuff last, closest to the main event.

    I want to know about the cool, nitty-gritty gameplay stuff too, but if I was in charge of giving out this info I would do exactly what they did here.

All these non-essential tidbits about stuff does is just going to let us down every single week until the end. How is that fair to your customers either? Again I am not trying to take away from what WW did, it is just like everyone else has said we either want to know about the stuff we want or just hold it all to the end because the suspense is going to kill us either way.

    As I stated in an earlier thread, we are still weeks out from closed beta and more weeks out from open beta and then launch. So, expect to get something on a weekly basis from now till then. If we just dumped it all out now, well we'd be sitting around going "that's nice, but when can I play it?" So, thanks for your patience and understanding that it won't all come at once.
