Turning to face The Specialist, Bladewing cleared his throat.
"Maybe I can shed some light as to why they are so eager to go on the offensive."
"Heroes have a natural tendency to want to defeat the Villans, regardless of how overmatched they are, and yes I do have more than enough defenses, i have had 30 years to gather materials and parts from across this dimension and others."
Scanning the rest of the room for more possibly crazed beings like Marty, Bladewing continued.
"After 30 years of hoarding materials, components, and more magic and technology than you can shake a kronos titan at, I'm tired of constantly adding new dimensions to the existing rooms of my base to keep it all stored there, and this seems like as worthy a cause as any."
Snickering a little to himself, Bladewing turned back to The Specialist.
"Besides, no offense but compared to the Villan's base of operations, this place is kinda puny...and as for defenses I have a few special things that I might loan you guys, no garuntees though."
Turning back to Caleb, Bladewing nodded for the portal.
"Come on man, help me move some of this crap and leave your friend for the rest of the Heroes to handle, it might just be a temporary bout of insanity...lord knows ive had a few...the last one caused the annihilation of a solar system about 1 million light years from earth....damn but that was a good day."
Grinning widely at the memory, Bladewing stepped back through the portal, making sure to leave enough sapping runes on Caleb so that he wouldn't accidentally destroy the Bastion with his powers. -
((kay..edited it to be less "hold" ish..and sorry to essex for mangling the japanese...im only a freshmen and taking japanese 101...im not an expert just yet.))
-
((he is "held" yeah..but Bladewing is trying to stack...and you can stop that if you want...or if you want i can edit it so I dont hold him at all.))
((okay just edited it so he isn't held but he is immobed, or in the case of a gravity power....slowed...i know from experience...damn possesed scientists and mages with their gravity powers D)
-
((oh sorry didn't even know you were adressing me.....Bladewing is a Saurian looking guy, about 7ft 6inches tall, draconic looking wings, claws, digitrade legs, tridactyl feet, Black No-Dachi, scaled tail...you know the general things..i mean come on..the characters in game name is Bladewing Draconian......if you have never read the dragonlance novels i have no sympathy.))
-
Bladewing spun, faster than most metahumans could move, and did two things in the space of what seemed like a single second.
First, Marty's blades were parried by Bladewing's No-Dachi and sent spinning into the ceiling. Secondly, Bladewing reached out with his powers over gravity and slammed Marty into the ceiling.
"I don't know what the hell is wrong with you, but if you ever attack me like that again, I'm going to eviscerate you, and maybe even revive you and kill you again!"
Frowning in concentration, Bladewing began adding more layers of immobilizing pressure to Marty, pinning him against the ceiling with enough force to make a Marty sized and shaped impression.
"Caleb, can you enlighten me as to why your pal here is attacking me, and also give me a reason as to why I shouldn't crush him to within an inch of his life?" -
"Oh man...sorry Caleb, it's saddening to hear that the DWC is all gone..maybe i can track Bang down someday, or go visit Dax."
Glancing over to marty at his comment.
"Well yes that is generally the way of things, however, no matter how evil one is, Ive got enough defensive weaponry to spare that they would get vaporized in the crossfire....even someone like Lord Recluse himself."
Turning back to Caleb, Bladewing motioned towards the black portal.
"Go grab your suit and come give me a hand with a bunch of my materials crates, and once we get those in here you can help me transfer the energy, control, and defense items ive got in storage." -
Grinning, Bladewing dive-bombed the Rularuu, obliterating hundreds in mere seconds, and slicing as many as were in range into tiny bits, choking the air with the sprays of gore and crystalline fragments.
"That work Kaega?, if not then I've got a few more things to try!"
Leaping upwards, Bladewing momentarily glowed black, then came rocketing back down into a packed group of brutes.
On impact the ground seemed to become liquid, flowing outwards in large waves from the newly formed crater, tossing those Rularuu that had not turned into slush, into the air. -

DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!
*laughs and runs away* -
"Hey Caleb!, yeah that one got pretty hairy near the end didnt it?"
Tunring to Marty, Bladewing nodded in the affirmative.
"Yeah, I have more building materials, defenses, and salvage than you can shake a ten ton tanker at......30 years of being a hermit and having noone left to use the stuff for tends to make one a pack-rat."
Spinning back, Bladewing sampled the energy that Caleb was leaking and swiftly activated a couple of temporary seals from the scales on his arm, supressing the massive energies Caleb was emitting, at least for the time being.
"Caleb, first off dampen the energy if you can man, and secondly what have you and the rest of the DWC been up to since we tangled with Poe and the rest all those years ago?"
"I myself have been slaughtering hapless creatures in the shadow shard, eden, the Hive, and anywhere I can to get a surplus of the stuff I need to maintain my base of operations....those CoT bastards really dont like to lose their tomes and artifacts....and I kinda am ashamed to say that I raided Azuria's vault....which really was too easy."
"Call me momentarily evil but I was glad she got wasted when city hall went kaboom." -
"Myself and Caleb have been planing to assault the base for awhile now. Our only problems so far have been the defense of Bastion in our absense, finding enough supplies to keep Bastion while we are away, finding the villain base, and setting up a temporary camp to gather intel somewhere in it's viscinity." Marty was twiddling his thumbs.
"As you can see we have some problems. We are in dire need of help, and our students are getting restless. It seems every day that I hear one say that they want to attack the villains. If we don't do something fast we may have a few less."
Bladewing was jolted away from watching Energon's battle, the blaster could handle himself and this other data indicated something rather more serious.
"Where did you record this data from? TELL ME AT ONCE!"
I recorded it from within the depths of the Bastion, lord Bladewing."
Scratching his chin, Bladewing opened his sphere and moved towards his portal room.
"This might finall give me a chance to use some of the resources I have, And dont give me that crap about 'you need it to survive', because I bring in more and more of it every time I go for a jaunt and kill things, I'm getting tired of adding new dimensions to rooms to store stuff that could be used by those heroes.!"
........Very Well "Master" Bladewing, but I must still advise aganst this.
Humming to himself, Bladewing began scribing the mystic symbols in the air to open a portal right next to the speakers.
"Objection duly noted, but right now I feel like scrapping again instead of waiting for the earth to eventually be annihilated......and if the earth is gonna go boom, I want to be at least semi-involved!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The Bastion
In the air besides Marty and the others, a pulsing black rune appeard, invisible against the shadows behind it. Then it began to move in a circle, leaving more runes in it's wake, and the whole rune ring began to rotate.
With a mild thunderclap of equalizing air, Bladewing stepped through the black disk, No-Dachi at his side.
"I hear that you people are having supply issues? If so then I have exactly what you need. Oh and Hi Caleb, Long time no se-......wait where did Caleb go?" -
Bladewing atcivated his various spells as he flew, mostly his long range scan spells, as well as a few to bolster his allies, granting them enhanced speed and movement capability.
"Guys, my long range spells are detecting massive energy build-ups like I felt when the shard was cut off, we need to hurry!"
Pouring on the speed, Bladewing cracked the sound barrier, rocketing straight for the now glowing spire that was Tyrant's Rock, and the waiting Ruladak with his hordes of Rularuu. -

In a deserted corner of the idyillic paradise once know as eden, shaded by a waterfall and several groves of trees, a sigil appeared on the cliff face.
The sigil began as the color of the stone upon which it rested, but slowly it darkened eventually turning pitch black.
The sigil then shuddered, and began moving in a circular pattern across the rock, leaving behind other sigils until an 8 by 8 foot ring was glowing blackly against the rocks.
As the sun went down, the ring began to spin, faster and faster until it appeared as nothing more than a black circle upon the cliff.
Slowly the circle began to fill with darkness, until with a thunderclap, it crackled with dark energies and disgorged a single figure.
Standing seven feet tall, and cloaked from head to foot in black scales, Bladewing stared out over Eden and grinned. Shaking his wings, limbs, and sword, he flicked off the remaining splotches of gore and then walked back through the portal, returning moments later with several corpses, which he immediatly threw all the way to the center of the forest.
"That is the last time I let my base portal open into an area where there is even a chance of someone except me entering it." "Bloody arachnos, stealthing into my base and trying to sabotage my generators, maybe I should lob a few of their corpses to their local recruitment office, just so that they get the point."
Grousing to himself, Bladewing walked back through his portal, speaking the closing spell as he did, and walking through dimensions until he reached his personal base.
Musing to himself, Bladewing walked the halls of his sanctum, glancing affectionatly at the various trophys he had collected during his lifetime. Various articles from Arachnos's best, and worst, tokens of gratitude from citizens and heroes alike, and on another wall his shining trophies, the reprimand letters from various hero organizations for his wanton slaughter of evildoers, extradimensional terrors, demons, and generally the worst most realities had to offer.
Grinning widely, Bladewing walked through his defense grids, checking all the weaponry and traps before moving on to his energy and intel chambers. Here were some of the greatest power sources and linking magics known in the cosmos, generating enough power to make sure that the base remained cloaked and shielded from prying eyes and offensive firepower.
The only way to take out this fortress was from the inside, and as the Arachnos agents had discovered, entry without permission was followed by swift death.
Bladewing continued to his meditation and scrying sphere, from which he could veiw any events he wished in peace and safety.
Rapping his No-Dachi's hilt upon the sphere, he spoke the command phrases to both open the sphere and arm the base's detection and defense systems.
Speaking to his mystic control system, Bladewing made his orders clear.
"I will be scrying the surface for some time, something new is happening in the streets of Paragon and the Rouge Isles, Do not disturb me unless it is absolutely necessary that you do so."
"As you wish master Bladewing, do you wish me to contact you in the event of a major upheaveal?"
"Yes, notify me of any and all major or seemingly major events that I am not scrying at the time"
Assuming sitting lotus, with his blade across his lap, Bladewing began forming hand symbols and chanting as the sphere closed around him, conjuring the mystical portals through which he observed the events of the world.
A certain pair of Heroes caught his attention as they moved through The Gap, and headed for what had once been Talos Island. -
basically...its a story........or compendium of stories.....look it is all in jest, not an I HATE WoW thing..but a "What I think would happen if we fought eachother" thing
-
((gods..this might be too fast paced even for me...and thats saying something.))
-
Arcade..these originally started from a thread i made in the Scrapper forums about what whould happen if the two games crossed...the stories were created by posters in that forum as comedy and such...the ones that I posted here are from other people, while _nelz0r's are his own creation..it got moved here because he started a thread for his own story titled WoW vs CoX "RP", which caused some mod or another to move it here.....every one of these stories is just our prediction of what would happen if a few things like HP and Damage were equalized and the two games collided.....as for sides working together? would you deny the villans a chance to whup the WoW people by your side? you seem to have enough fun doing mothership raids with them.

Whoops...forgot to include Materful's account.
In the midst of the massive valley two armies are gathered.
To the south, a sea of warriors, magicians, knights, bowmen and many others stand. They hail from the land of warcraft. They stand in the ready, swords sharpened, bows stringed, horses prepared for war. They are over nine million strong, a force that would strike fear into any army, any nation, and any entity from any time or place
But there are those who stand against them
To the north an alliance of heroes and villains, once sworn nemeses, stand banded together, now brothers, united by a war greater than their differences. They hail from Paragon City and the Rouge Islands. They are known for their acts of bravery, terror, virtue, and villainy. They are those that have forsaken their own identities for something greater than themselves, be it for evil or good. They are those with powers beyond many peoples wildest dreams. They are those that can run faster than the speed of sound, control others actions with their minds, dodge any bullet. They are superhuman. And their tales of victory have reached even the lands of warcraft.
The armies stand, facing one-another in the vast valley. Almost half a mile lies between them. Both armies are making last minute preparations. Their leaders of the armies of warcraft move down the lines offering encouragement to the surprisingly anxious armies, as they finished preparing for war. The battle is ours! We shall have the victory! they roared. The sea of troops echoed their cries.
The heroes and villains prepared as well, thousands of force fields were activated, innumerable troops were granted fortitude, and inspirations were dispersed among the ranks.
When the armies were ready each side send to representatives to meet in the center of the field, with hopes that one side would back down and the bloodbath that was about to ensue would be halted for another day. Both sides sent their representatives, from the armies of warcraft, a massive tauren and a human warrior, from the alliance of heroes and villains, a brute and a peace bringer.
They meet in the center of the battlefield.
You are greatly outnumbered; surrender and we will spare you. Bow before the armies of warcraft and you will live! the warrior shouted.
Outnumbered Thats what I like to hear the brute smiled. Even the noble peace bringer smiled at the warriors remark.
We will not surrender warrior, nor will we accept your surrender. However, if you give up, we will offer to let you flee a few minutes before we allow the scrappers to attack. The peace bringer smiled as he spoke, hardly more than a whisper. But the resolve in his voice was firm.
The tauren growled. Then you will die! he yelled, as he drew his massive sword and swung it at the peace bringer with unrelenting force.
But his blow never fell. Before he could land the blow a blinding light radiated from the peace bringer, even the mighty tauren wavered in the piercing glow. It lessened moments later, and where it had originated a giant figure stood. It was a massive glowing white dwarf, the same size as the tauren it faced. The tauren growled as he regained his composure, he swung a deadly blow at the white dwarf, but his blade bounded off its think armor.
The warrior drew his blade as well and advanced toward the brute. The brutes body tensed and electricity sparked from his body. The warrior paused for a second but then swung the sword; as soon as the blade touched the brute electricity surged into the warrior. The warrior gasped as the currents overtook him, dropping him to his knees. The brute looked at the pathetic warrior on the ground, and smiled as he electrocuted him to death.
The white dwarf took blow after blow from the tauren but never so much as flinched. The onlookers gasped as the white dwarf swung his mighty fist and launched the huge tauren head over heels back to his army. Then it begins! he yelled.
The hero and the villain turned and returned to their army. There would be a war, and they were determined to be its victors.
The armies stood anxiously, awaiting only the order to charge. All preparations were complete, this was it. The battle of all time, a battle of pride and honor. Silence cloaked the field.
Suddenly a single cry rang out from the field, LEEEEEEEERRRROOOOOOOOYYY!!!! it boomed. Members of both armies stood in shock as a single troop raced out from the warcraft line. The scrappers smiled in approval, this may be a battle after all, they thought.
As Leroy neared the heroes and villains line he drew his sword, and raised it, he was about to swing it at a blaster when he felt himself being lifted in the air, he looked down in shock as he saw he was hovering a foot above the ground, suspended by a manipulated gravitational field. A controller smiled, poor Leroy had no mez protection. The controller created another gravitational field, this time lifting a small car out of the void. Leroy frowned as the car came careening towards his face.
The scrappers looked at Leroys lifeless body, it was inspiring. They started counting silently...
Six seconds later, as the warcraft armies began to march they heard a cry, a cry unlike any that has ever been heard or will ever be heard again, they heard the battle cries of an army of scrappers, 50,000 strong as they rushed headlong toward the army of 9 million. They cared not of odds or numbers, they cared not of sanity, there was blood to be had, and it was theirs for the taking. Six seconds was gone, and all is fair now. The armies of warcraft wavered, unsure of the small but fierce advancing army. Ranged units to the front! Ranged units to the front! a captain bellowed, Kill them!
Before the captain could take his next breath a blade slashed though his back, and he dropped to the ground dead. A stalker stood over his body smiling.
Innumerable cries of agony were heard throughout the warcraft ranks as thousands of the leaders fell dead, killed by the assassin strikes given by tens of thousands of stalkers that had stood hidden among the warcraft ranks.
As the scrappers collided with the enemy lines, mowing down all in their paths, thousands of heroes and villains alike appeared in the middle of the warcraft ranks, they had stood there invisible waiting for the opportune moment, and this was it.
As the rest of the heroes and villains collided with the warcraft armies, 10s of thousands of nukes, erupted, killing even the strongest of the warcraft ranks instantly.
The battle raged, but even though the warcraft armies killed numerous foes, their enemies continued to come. Defenders teleported their fallen comrades out of the fray and resurrected them, sending them back into battle. The hordes of warcrafts armies stood in shock as thousands of massive stone beings, and white and dark dwarfs pierced though their lines without showing any signs of weakening. Huge extraterrestrial being, called shivans, stomped through the battlefield laying waste to all enemies in their paths. Scrores of thousands of masterminds minions attacked the foes. Thousands upon thousands of flying heroes and villians flew just out of reach of the warcraft troops, blasting them with fire, radiation, energy, electricity and psychic attacks. Any fleeing members of the warcraft army were quickly cut down by superspeeding heroes or villians.
Some of the warcraft leaders looked the situation over. We may actually loose, they realized -
yoinking this one from my original thread that started this.
I would like to see both sides on the hills of a battlefield looking across to each other with a large killzone gap in the middle.
The sides favor the WoW interlopers with mass amounts of Warriors shining their weapons and legions of Mages readying their spells and buffs.
The Heroes are assembled and ready to do the best they can to hold the line.... the Scrappers salivating at the upcoming carnage....the Tankers standing by to be the first wave in....Controllers summoning up pets and setting there controls to go.....Defenders doing everything else to get the battle ready like buffing and planning. The assembled Kheldian's floating above ready to rain bright and dark death upon the Alliance. (Didn't think they were going to miss the fun eh?)
A cold wind blows through the small valley emphasising the solomn undertone of this upcoming battle. The Hero's start to feel breeze's and whispers through their ranks and as they look out they start to see the squishies on the WoW side start to drop.....first one then two .....now whole chunks are falling.....for a second there if you look just right and squint.....nah.....it almost looked like the Stalkers that plague the PvP zones so.....
The Heroes feel a presence behind them and turn to look and witness the assembled legions of the Rogue Isles......Walls and walls of over eager Brutes, cackling Corrupters, and viscious Dominators. Their leader a large brute of a machine with red electricity crackling all around him states "We are not here for the same reasons you are ..... good, righteosness, freedom...... we join ranks with you now for one reason only ...... TO DESTROY THE INTERLOPERS!!!!!!!" As a cry rang out throughout the villian crowd.
The Alliance is looking nervous now but still ready for a good fight until ....... they here this marching .....this horrible marching ....... thier commmanders look out to see cresting the hill behind the Heroes/Villians ....... an army of Masterminds and thier minions......their march shakes the very earth. After they have gathered their masses and the land comes to a still....... all is is quiet .....until the MM's order their assembled minions to ready themselves. The dead start to crawl out of the ground with swords in hand and Liches in tow...... the sounds of hundreds of Bots charging up their energy weapons......the Ninjas and Mercs taking their positions readying bow's, shirkuns, assault rifles....... the Thugs roll in then with chains, and pistols, and numbers ....ooooh god the numbers......things are starting to look a bit more fair now.
The Interlopers look scared. Thier Commanders are trying to keep ranks while calling for more backup....
Finally getting tired of waiting a Brute talks to a Scrapper ....... another Scrapper talks to a Brute ..... after a murmur goes through the assembled ranks they all raise their swords, or fists, or other weapons high into the air and scream "6 second rule!!!!!!" and a charge that the multiverse has never seen and probably will never again rise's up and moves forward without friends ..... without backup ....without numbers .... these warriors that strive for the glory of battle go out on their own to meet the crumbling resistance.
The Commanders of the Alliance let a whimper out as they see a sea of the best assembled waves of Brute, Scrapper, and any one crazy enough to follow them running straight at them screaming like the damned.
Seeing that they will be seriously beaten through sheer numbers and ferocity they turn tail and run only to be cut down by the assembled might of the CoX universe...... only a small fraction of the team that had assembled there make it out with their skins intact.
The rest are sitting in detention cells with either Arachnos or the PPD ....either way there is no bright future coming for them......
Word to the WoW people! Next time bring some Dragons or something so we can have a real challenge!
