You could have something more akin to a hang glider... -

Not quite sure how that works out...D'you mean that the LT and above enemies get exp to 'spend' in a similar way? If so, thats actually quite a neat idea;

Yeah, thats what I was meaning. I suppose it would depend on the strain on the servers it this Per Group spending would cause.
the other option would be for a given mob with load out had an "exp" price attached and the server generated a random (-ish) experience pool for a given spawn point and would keep rolling mobs till it ran out of "Exp"
If each mob had a price you could use that as a scale for the difficulty relative to you. -
Could the difficulty colour rating not be linked to mob "exp"?
eg a standard hellion will have 0 exp where as a boss may have 5000 exp in their trees?
you could then compare your total exp with that of the mob to derive the difficulty? -
Ive also added my thought on myself for you to study.
never certain how honest people are with these sort of test.
are people honest with themselves?... -
Not sure how much confusion it would cause, but you could have the opt out option on a NPC in the Hub areas of a Zone, and to opt out you pay a scaled amount of Inf to be taken off or down their hit list.
-
One thought that has just occurred to me is if its a single Tough NPC is having someway of him not getting too close to the Police Drones when he's not been engaged by a PC.
-
What would you all think to a forced, though temporary Graphical change to your Character if you died to them, Like maybe a hunter tag replacing your Emblem for X length of time.
-
Where you thing just a random Player or where you thinking a whole team?
Im not sure how many people would be willing to hang about and wait for a member of their team to come back dead or alive.
I suppose if its a 1v1 it wouldnt take too long. you could also scale the Mob difficulty with the mission difficulty selector (not sure of the name, but heroic, rugged, tenacious, etc) -
Only problem with adding a badge is that youll have badge collectors straining the zoning system by entering and exiting two zones.
An option would be to have "Hunting parties" spawn as a random event targeting a random character in the zone.
Hunting party could mirror the targets party AT's and a zone wide alert goes out with a "LVL XX hunting squad is loose in XX and gunning for $target"
They head towards their target and not aggro through range and level distance, only upon being engaged.
if they are engaged and their target dies they default back to the hunted person.
If that Hunted Zones then they abandon the hunt and head to doorways as citizens do. -
Probably not.
What i could do is add a 3rd walk text file that disables both and cycle all three
Walk >> Sprint >> Superspeed >> Walk
what can i say my navigation skill with SS on are non-existent in enclosed spaces and stairways. -
Thank you all for the information.
ill have a look into your suggestions, however if Sapphic Neko is right about the drain i may scrap the idea for now.

Not sure if this is gonna help.
I have aproblem with the pop ups two, i used to have a tendancy just to hit the Hospital button as an automatic responce as that screen appears in the middle.
Energy Devil
to get round my own stupidity i moved it to the side where it was less intrusive and it pops there everytime...
or it did. stopped playinf for a while and have onbly just come back. haven't really thought about this so will check it out.
just wondering if the same works for the team invite pop. -
Is it possible?
I have used
/bind f "powexec_name Fly $$ powexec_name Hover"
to switch between Fly and Hover.
One press activates Hover, the next activates Fly.
i cant get this to work with Super Speed and Sprint.
This i think is beacus you cant have both fly and hover active at once but you can sprint and super speed.
any ideas or suggestions are welcome. -
Not entirely sure where i read it but i dont think you get XP from MA missions to stop people just making an arc of 500 missions each conataining 1 minion and an uberload of exp for finishing each mission.
will have a look for where i read it and post again.

* All maps in the game are usable. No user created map (for now at least)
* You cannot place spawns at user settable locations (way too exploitable)
* You can design your own boss, both appearance and power sets. Odds are though, is that all you'll be able to do is select a primary and secondary from a menu.
* You can create your own contacts, and can even use yourself as a contact.
* You will get mob XP from the missions, but no mission bonus XP.
