Its time to get your pencils ready
My birthday contest starts today!

The contest consists of a single art piece of one of my characters, either The American Dreamgirl or Tizane Bathory.
The Character should be interacting, about to interact, or just have interacted with another person (known NPC, bystandard, monster, etc)

Other than that, all artists have free reign in the direction they take their entry.


Luckily, I havent filled all the available contest seats. As such, Im opening up this contest to everyone.
Everyone will have until the week of July 1st to work on a piece (should be a little over two weeks), and any qualifying entry recieved durring that week will at least recieve a $5 consolation prize (by whatever means are most convenient).


Any and all questions can be posted here, and I'll answer them the best that I can. Further, if anyone needs to see a character in person, Message me privately and we'll set up a meet and greet.

Heads up, everyone...


Just wanted to send this back up, to announce that Contest information will be posted FRIDAY the 15th, and that the contest will last until July 1st.


Everyone in the Art Community is welcome to participate, with the first 30 acceptable Entries awarded with prizes.
If you've already sent me information, showing an interest in competing, You are guaranteed a seat.

Im excited, and I hope you are too =D

mkay, My birthday is over, and it was awsome... but I was sort of suprised to see how few people were interested in the contest.

I hope I didnt give the impression that it was exclusionary at all, I'd love to see everyone sign up (even if I cant afford to have that many entrants)

Its not done yet... but as an interesting side note, Tizane was my first villain, back in COV's beta... and shes where the "Empress" tag came from (so, even though she isnt actually "named" Empress in game, she is my namesake )

Well, I know its sort of "bad form" to make your own birthday thread (I have to set up my own suprise birthday parties too... but no one ever shows up )


But I figured, what better day to announce a CONTEST!, eh?



This contest will consist of a piece involving one of my characters (TBA) in a scene involving at least one other character (bystandard, monster,other Hero/villain, whatever)

There will be a limited number of slots available for this contest, as I will be offering cash prizes for all completed entries as well as 1st, 2nd, and honorable mention awards.





All artists: You have one week to PM me here, or on Deviant art (preferably with some cross information, so I know who you are )
on June 14th, I will announce the specifics of the contest, and the due date for entries.

heres how Im thinking its going to work.... Im going to announce the contest (i.e. give it its own thread) on june first. From that point, the members of the community who want to be involved have one week to BOTH post in the thread, and PM me (yea, I want to make sure you're dedicated :-P)

On june 7th (yay, my birf-day) I'll post a list of the contestants (as there will be a limited number of slots... hopefully not too limited) and give out the details of the piece that needs to be drawn for the contest.

I'll accept Completed entries the 7 days between July 7th and July 14, with winners announced sometime shortly there after.
WIPs can be posted in the thread and such... but only images submitted in that week will be considered.


Anyone who submits a final entry will get at least the consolation prize (TBD), with a chance at 1st, 2nd, Runner Up, and Best theme prizes (more on that later.)
