  1. This has been my first experience with an mmorpg. I'm a very casual player usually. I'll pop on for a few times a week and play an hour maybe 3 if I'm lucky. I've played since beta and my controller has finally reached level 40. He's my first and favorite creation.

But with all this news, I'm beginning to dread it. I don't want to leave the game cause I've made great friends here. But when they leave cause of bad changes thats just not cool.

I hope someone is seriously reading all this stuff cause if people on the boards aren't happy, what will happen to people who don't read them and play the update? They'll be shocked first cause of the changes then they'll be frustrated then stop playing. CoH can easily become a ghost town with so much mmo competition available. The guy in the cubicle next to mine is promoting WoW.

But seriously, this game is awesome. Its the only form of entertainment I have at the moment since money is tight. I'd like to continue with it. Besides didn't we make a a difficulting setting for those that wanted a harder game anyway? That was a cool idea. Just add a new bar for it called Ridiculous and make it so hard you'll be thrashing your keyboard in frustration cause the minion punched you in the gut and sent you to the hospital.
  2. ::BUUURP:: Just got in from drinking and hangin' with chicks. I'm a bit drunk. Anyway...

I remember first playing the game in beta and getting out of the training zone and seeing Atlas Park. The music came on and my first thought was. "This is amazing. I'm home." My heart was pounding and I was looking at all the heroes running around doing their thing. I teamed up right away with a fire blaster.

My first teamate/friend invited me on a mission she had trouble with before. She healed, I attacked. We beat a Eidelon boss. We were so happy and typing about how good we felt at that moment. Still brings a smile to my face.

Running all through Atlas for the first time and taking pics of everything and everyone. Still have pics of myself somewhere in my hd just hanging around or jumping.

That feeling during beta when they were going to activate servers again for you to play. I'd spend almost every hour on it.

Feeling scared and lost in Perez Park. That place gave me a phobia. I still get lost and sometimes a bit twitchy being there.

Seeing someone fly for the first time left me in awe. Even though its not the fastest, to me its still one of the most coolest.

In some ways Paragon is somewhat of a virtual home. I never play any other games anymore. This game is where I belong.

Oh and before I learned of how the maps work, I got lost taking the tram and tried looking for the back alley brawler in some back alleys. Yep, I think I was drunk that night. I went to each zone lost and nervous about how tough the bad guys were.
  3. [ QUOTE ]
One of my favorites quotes, and I laugh everytime I hear it, is the Tsoo going, "You want to fight, fight me." Just about in every bad Kung Fu movie ever made.

    [/ QUOTE ]

For some reason I feel that quote might be from a character named Johnny in the movie The Last Dragon. I could be wrong, but The Shogun of Harlem is one of my childhood heroes and any chance I get to bring up this movie I will.
