Your style has constantly improved I can see it in your gallery, Trust yourself cashoo, you know what you want to do with your art and you only get 1 life. if you think the new stuff is an improvement and more in the direction you want to go, then keep progressing, Ive changed my style/methods heaps of times you gotta do what feels right. dont let other people effect your aspiration's. you are probably the greatest young talent Ive seen on DA, pleasing other people is good but never let it be at expense of yourself

They are all working Wonders for me, the comic is a riot!, the wip look's great and the first one's leg's look fine to me. he's about 7 head's high, which is the proportion for a regular person, hero's are usually 8 head's high, so maybe that's why it looks odd to you. proportionately I cannot flaw it he's just a more realistic build

Well bust's have been all the rage lately, money has been very tight for me lately, and bust's are about the only thing I can get done consistently lately (Besides color.) so *cough cough*

I wasn't saying in my post that people would'nt do the picture. but for me, Infamy has very little value. The amount of time it takes to get a picture done i could play the game and get enough infamy for what I need. hell with The Rogue Isle's $ doing so poorly that is a very generous amount, but it doesnt help in the real world, and it takes real world time to work on, so to me, its not a fair trade.
but it all depends on the value you place on infamy. there are some very nice folks on here that would probably do it, Hell i'm somewhat tempted to do it. but I wouldnt think of it as a commission. to me, a commission means paid work. Like wassy said a trade probably would be more accurate, but alot of the time that would be spent on doing that image for virtual currency could be spent on work for real money so I wouldnt say it was neccassarily fair.
what I'm trying to say and it might sound harsh, Time is money and infamy ain't really money, so I think an artist is undercutting himself/herself by working for it so if one was to do it I'd think of it as trade on the side of a gift. Like I said most other proffession's dont work for anything other then cold hard cash and if they do it's great but it's out of the goodness of their heart. commissions are a business, commissions are money. thats the way I see it.

A few things wrong with this thread.
1. we aren't allowed to talk about prices for commission's in this forum.
2. the links aren't working
3. price is dictated by the artist who provides a service the same as any other contractor.The price is effected by a couple of things quality being one of them. you cant just lump all commissions into the same price catagory, alot of people put alot of time and energy into their art. it can take minutes, hours or day's. some artist's can get fast turnaround making it possible for them to do the work cheaper where as others need to be struck by inspration. the price is dictated by time. and hell some artist's are just better then others.
4. you will not get many artist willing to work for infamy. That's like paying a plumber with monopoly money. at the end of the day if you get someone to work for you art wise for infamy I'd consider that a gift. -
