Zone PVP can be fun, especially RPVP, the problem is that there were a bunch of people who were so interested in just ganking and insulting people that it turned a lot of casual PvPers off of the Zones.
All the best action took place on the Test League, all the casual friendly PvP took place in events like Fight Night.
What happened is that Issue 13 pretty much killed most peoples desire to PvP, including those of us who actively ran PvP events for casual PvP'ers to participate in.
The end of Fight Night was the end of casual PvP on Virtue, as for PvPEC... PvPEC has always suffered from fragmentation of its leadership and of its members, always with a great sense of bitterness at the mistreatment and mismanagement of the PvP Community by the Devs. Which all told, created a very insular and desperate community rather than the blossoming, glorious and rich global PvP Community they had hoped to create. -
So the MoSTF went amazingly well. We were so very, very, very... VERY close, absolutely no reason we cant start hitting that one out of the park.
MoITF seems a lot more difficult to accomplish than MoSTF, MoSTF is a lot more methodical. -

Apocalypse Acc/Dam/Rec which I believe is known as "The really expensive one." Got it in the MoITF attempt last night so I walked away from that TF a very happy camper.

Sorry guys, Tonight I got a purple but had to sell it for the cash. I desperately, desperately needed the money to IO out my Tank, after spending all my Blue side Inf to IO my Scrapper.
I really wanted to contribute but there is no purple I need more than I need 275,000,000 Inf right now.

Ok, so purely placebo effect. Def is Def, Res is Res regardless of AT it will all have the same effect, its the rest of the kit and caboodle that goes along with Scrappers/Tanks/Brutes etc that makes for their increased survivability.
Its as it always should be, that niggling doubt in the back of my mind is gone.

Well yes, knew that had different caps and why Def is superior to Res on low HP AT's but that still doesn't answer if there is a hidden base multiplier in there somewhere that we are not seeing.
If I have PFF on a Blaster and walk into an 8 man group alone, I will die.
If I do the same with a SR scrapper in Elude I am untouchable.
Or at least that is the way it feels, it could be purely placebo and probably is... but it always made me wonder. -
Something I have always wondered.
AT's all have different base damage multiplier, but is the same true with Defense and Resistance?
It appeared to me that 75% Resistance on a Blaster really didn't do all that much for survivability, neither did Defense. Was this because of the lower HP Blasters have, or do they have lower base number multipliers? -

Its sad to say but a TV license simply wouldn't work in America now, the Commercial Media is too powerful, rampantly out of control and Government Subsidized Programming would be a disaster, just another fund to pull from and give to yet another multi billion dollar business that made some bad business decisions... the chance that any of that money would ever see the light of day in the form of high quality, unbiased Television are about as unlikely as the US ever seeing complete health-care reform. -
