Which is why for a fast leveling, low downtime version I'd only pair it with DM. Something like Claws or Fire can be stronger late and heavily IOed, but dm/sr is more fun to get there IMO.

If you have more than 1 toon in, and it gets ranked, then yes you have to fight those additional fights. Your global does not mean that every toon under it has the same rank. You can choose to leave "X" toon unranked while you own stuff with "Y" toon.

If a rusty pvper fights a ranked pvper, the match is still ranked. A loss does not affect your rank, only winns.
So the only way a person loses a rank is if someone under him beat him, or if someone under him beat a person that was ranked higher than he is.

We now have 25 toons, which is way more than I expected. The Champion Duel Ladder channel has been created, and will be used to find matches, talk about match related stuff, or to contact me in game.

Although we have 25 toons in now, that does not mean more people can't sign up.

I would like to ask that you all mention this to any friends you have in game that like to pvp. Most of the server population do not even read the boards, so that will help out alot.

More people = More fun.

Also I would like to clarify a few things. Since this everyone here might not be "hardcore" pvpers, Im going to drop the fight requirements.

Terp orignally had it be that you were required to fight ATLEAST 2 matches per day. I am going to change that to 2 matches per week. You are welcome to fight as many as you want, with other people in the ladder, but you need to fight ATLEAST 2 matches, once a week. That requires only 20 mins of your total weekly CoH time.

You cannot fight the same person more than 2 times in a week.

EDIT: You can fight the actual person more than 2 times a week, but not the same character.

As of right now, I'd say your Invul/SS tank is your best bet, if you are willing to make a few changes to it. Super Strength is extremely good in pvp now, and double stacked rage is beautiful. Taking the fire epic (get char & fire blast) or the stone epic (get stone cages and fossilize) will give you excellen ranged damage as well as a mez, which isgood for dropping offensive toggles such as Radiation infection or hurricane.

You rad/rad would be pretty good for duels as well if you put some procs in neutrino bolt (touch of lady grey chance for neg dmg, achilles heel proc which both are pretty cheap). You get global resistance bonus for being a Corr, and with shark skin from your epic (if you take mako) you will be pretty close to the res cap, not to mention you'd get hibernate as a check out power. You have AM which dramaitcally decrases the duration of mez, and boost your damage, which is good, and lingering radiations is still good for -recharge (not movement slows anymore), and scourge is ftw.

MM"s are still good when properly used.
