Ah, damn. I'll just play around a bit more and see if maybe I can deal with the 4:3 resolutions. Thanks for the help everyone!
  2. Just updated my video drivers, which helped quite a bit. The performance under 1280x800 improved enough to negate the need for resolution scaling, mostly.

The scaling still doesn't work correctly even with the new drivers. It just turns all 3D stuff black, instead. All the UI elements are fine, though.

I could try dropping the resolution a bit, but all the smaller resolutions are 4:3, instead of proper widescreen. Anyone know a way to change to a smaller widescreen resolution?

I've restarted the game and the computer. The desktop is at 1280x800, same as the UI.

If you can't get to Options, you can try the TweakCOH app:

Ack, link there is broken. Anyone have a better link?
The window scaling isn't the issue. Maybe I was unclear...

Y'know how it looks when you have two mirrors facing eachother? Or when a video camera is pointed at the screen it's outputting to? That's what's going on here, just with the UI windows. The regular graphics aren't viewable at all.
  5. Having a bit of an odd issue with the 3D Resolution Scaling. Currently running on a GMA 950 (hence the reason to drop things down a bit), at 1280x800. I'm trying to drop it to 640x400, and suddenly the whole screen is taken up by scaled versions of the windows. Can't even see the normal graphics. I've tried running /unloadgfx, but that doesn't help.

Screenshots are available, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to attach them >_<.

    Any thoughts?

    *Edit*

Just went the photobucket route with this one:

  6. I'm having the exact same issue with the 185.85 drivers. I'm suspecting that the driver is the source.
