Seems, I have a early x-mas present. I got a 1 yr sub to CoH. Now I'm free to play with anyone who wants or remembers me. In the time away I have been doing some work at My Art Page. With a year to play, I'm open for just about anything so give me a heads up and I'll join in for some fun.

I'll still keep my forum presence to a minimum so as not to irk anyone, but I'll still be doing the 3d art and balloon thing. I guess the time off has mellowed me abit. I'm ready to have fun and enjoy the game again.

Yeah, this post is nothing more than me putting into words what I have already done which is left the forum. Many reasons have gone into why and not all of them have been good. I have checked in and to be totally honest, this forum hasn't been completely positive experience for some.

Yes my new career has taken off and I'm grateful for that. I just wish there were more reasons to keep me here than there are to push me away.

I don't brown-nose those with Mad-Skills, I can't afford to spend $1000s to make artists like me and my skills aren't at the level that art-whores are beating down my door but that is the feeling of what I had to be when I spent time here.

From my perspective it was all about spending my CoH time here and burning my money when I could be IN the game having fun. Because of some individuals, I have felt the sting of their knives in my back, I have felt the burn from their flamings and I have seen others get burn just as badly if not worse.

Now it was not all bad because I did meet a few good people. I appreciate those few good people because they never asked for anything and they had the patience to put up with the fact that I'm not of the 20 something crowd.

So for those who hated me, they can toss back a few in celebration. Personally I don't celebrate in losing someone. I think it is a bad thing to do so. In true style that is all my own, I go out not like a silent lamb, but as a fighter taking one last swing before going down for the count.

I have a feeling that this post will get flamed, but I won't be here to read them. Those who read this and don't flame it, be wary of those who do flame this because those people are not thinking about how their attacks affect others.

Been away this week celebrating my b-day. still other things in the works. I'll update as much as I can.

I used the main villians from my consortium of evil group.

You got it Leech. It may take a litle bit though. I'm trying to up the awesomeness of all the pieces as best as I can.

Is this for in game reference, or for artwork? I could cobble a 3D male and try to give him a chisled look. To me, Chisled always meant medium build but with linear framework. Like a square jaw to me means chisled... Just my take on it.

But if you do want a 3d model in spandex, I can do one real quick without a prob.

Oh, good, I'm glad you think she's ok! Yes she is more modern, I didn't have a descent outfit that looked good and was the same style. I got 4 types of outfits, spandex, sci-fi armored, dresses and medieval or tribal armor. I did think the sword looked cool too. I took a guess on the hair color.

So I've been too busy to even worry about other people and their juvenile attacks and false alligations against me trying to stir up trouble. So instead, I put all my time and effort into the balloons and this piece.

Hello everyone. I'm on a game card so I've taken the time to let everyone know that the crazy old coot is back even if it is for a few weeks.

The first thing I want to do while I'm here is to say I'm sorry I have been away so long. I'm also very sorry I have not done any renders that are CoX related.

I have had some data loss in the recent past and I'm recovering from them. I've got most of the stuff back but i'll have to redo the costume textures that I did in the past. I was also able to sneak in the purchases of some new items. (shhh...)

In the time I've been gone I have created my own company so I no longer have to work for someone else. Well, that's not true, I do work for my wife. The slave driver. (again shhh...)

If I don't get distracted by other things I'm going to try some more renders. I'm not going to make promises but I do want to back to 3D because in the time away I have learned some new stuff to use. I've also been inspired to try a style I thought of. When I got something I'll post it.

I won't be here for long though. I still have this game card and another, but I'm finding that I'm getting burned out after getting a hero to 50 and a villain to 43 and a slew of others on both sides to about lvl 15-20 During the 2 months I still have left, I'll play off and on but not as much as before. I'll try and use the time for 1 last hurrah to get some CoX art done before I fade into obscurity.

I know I'm not as high profile as others, but I have had some fun talking to people here. We all gotta be a bit nuts to be here, right?

Lastly, I want to acknowledge those who have put up with my craziness the most. Thank you for not whacking me in the head too hard when I've done something dumb. You people bringing me to my senses is greatly appreciated.

thanks for the template link. I couldn't find it before when I tried so I thought they discontinued that model. Thank you for your praise. Next to you I feel like that average apprentice who dabbles in art standing next to Da Vinci, The Master Craftsman. I might not be able to make the Mona Lisa, but at least I have fun just creating. To me that is the most important part which is why I do it for free. I've also been thinking about combining poser with the comic creator to create a comic book page. Either today or tomorrow will be my last chance to respond but if I remember correctly I can still view after my account expires. Yes, I'm using V3 and I do have the templates for her but I got the ultra catsuit for V3 and I don't have the templates for it. I have to rely on the existing textures to make any modifications. Lady Liberty is wearing the catsuit and the only part of the catsuit that is not visible is what's under the gloves and the boots. And at this time, I can't afford to buy any 3D models seeing how I'm jobless atm...

I thought about texturing V3 herself, but all the examples I've seen make her look like she is naked with spray paint on. That's a look I'm not really into. The catsuit for some reason makes me feel like she's got clothes on. Maybe if the suit looked to smooth, I could use a bump map...

I thought my version of Sinfernal was pretty sexy.... maybe too sexy!

Made a few minor errors in Lady Liberty's outfit but I corrected them. I hope it looks better.

Next on the list of completions is Lady Liberty.

I did alot of work on the suit trying to get the colors and the angles set just right. Customizing a texture that wraps around clothing is not easy, especially when the back and front are seperated out and you have to match the seams without a template.

With this work, I tried to go simple and get close to the character because I wanted her to stand out. I wanted the details to be noticed as well.

I hope you like it Gaderath! I didn't remember to ask what her powers were or I would have added some special effects as well.

Hello all. Due to real life situations I am having to stop subscribing to CoX. For those of you who are wondering why, it is because I lost my job today and without an income I can not afford to pay for a service that is simply entertainment.

To those who have current requests in, I am still in the process of completing them so don't think I'll drop them because no matter what, I take care of those who have been so nice to me and thought that I was good enough to make them a piece of art depicting their character.

As long as it doesn't interfere with my job hunting, I will continue to do artwork because it is something I like to do. When I do get a job, I might come back, just depends on what my salary will be.

I will continue to exist on DA so those of you with DA accounts, you'll see me there off and on.

I sincerely appreciate all the kind people who have interacted with me for the last year. It really means alot when strangers can come together and be nice to one another just because it's the right thing to do.

May fortune smile on each and everyone of you. (I say that because I mean it and it's was the only way I could think of that would not offend anyone and trip the censorship buzzer.)

Now here I go to get started!

Whew, my last request piece is done! This time I did WarBride for SuperMaoriFulla. I hope it was another step in the right direction. I felt kinda iffy about some of the choices I made, but I stuck with it until I got it to this point.

I did say that after this round I was going to do another. So what I'll do is another set of 5 requests but no one can submit them to me until Monday Aug 20th. That should give people plenty of time to see this post and get ready. As usual, I will give every piece as much care as I would if i was rendering one of my characters.

For my updates, I redid Flareback 8-1-7 and changed the lighting as well as the shadowing. I also turned on the anti-alias and it looks much better than the original without anti-aliasing.

Now if I can just remember to turn it on everytime, I'll be set for awhile until I have to think of something else to add to make things fresh.
