I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you, but my problem is similar to yours and was hoping to piggyback on your discussion for an answer.

I can't seem to update my archaic video driver either: nVidia Geforce FX Go5200, v. 66.10. It's a Dell special for laptops through nVidia and I have tried to download an update, but I either have the most updated driver or it just doesn't want to update it.

My game play has been experiencing lag for a few months now and it's become more frustrating than fun to play. Now with I17 released, it'll get worse.

Does anybody have any "cures" for my condition. I'm not very tech savvy (I know enough to be dangerous). So laments terms would be ideal.

Help please! I haven't played in a while, but after returning from my hiatus, COX did an update and now it constantly plays at "Below Normal" speed.

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but the lag is bad and every time I try to set the priority to "Above Normal" is defaults back.

If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. And I'm not fully knowledgeable about computers. I just know enough to be dangerous so the less technical the explanation, the better.
