The Drunken Story
The year: 1985
The Setting: Top Secret Military Installation somewhere in the United States
Major John Stephens USAF is hand picked by the President to become part of top secret military project. The goal is to bond solider and technology together. The night before the procedure Stephens and his friend Captain Richard Morgan go out to party. The night ensues and they proceed to get trashed. The next morning, suffering from a hangover he leaves his little girl Mary with the baby sitter and reports for duty. The Procedure is a failure. Major Stephens is reported dead and buried with full military honors. Seeing as Mary is now an orphan, Captain Morgan Adopts her and moves to paragon city.
The Year: 2005
The Setting: An abandond Military base on the outskirts of Paragon City
Stephens awakens and begins to notice many things are different. First he is drunk, secondly his skin is green, and he has some tremendous powers. Finding a suit of armor lying next to him he puts it on and begins looking around. Finding a television set he turns it on and tunes it to the Fox News Network. He is amazed to find that it is 20 years later. He has no recollection of anything past reporting for duty the morning of the procedure. Stumbling out of the base he is determined to find out what has happened to him and who is responsible.
The Year: 2006
The Setting: Atlas Park
Drunken Avenger as he has been dubbed by the media has been waging a war on crime in his desperate search for answers. Finding Captain Morgan he rekindles a friendship, and Morgan becomes a confidant and aid in DAs battles. His little girl Mary is now a grown woman, and has no recollection of her dad. DA and Morgan decide it is best if she continues to believe that Morgan is her dad.
While working in Atlas Park, DA is recruited into Stryke-Force by Bama Boi. Rising thru the ranks and teaming with fellow SFers he becomes a Captain in no time. It is about this time when he is called into a Meeting with his Division Head of Delta Lord Gatekeeper, and the General Himself Lord Stryker. He is asked to transfer to the Prestigious Main Division and he accepts. It is while in this division that he starts to really hone his powers and become accepted by the group, teaming with such individuals as Frostyblue, Palatial Guard, Dark Friar, Val Decar, Xul, the General himself and many more. With Stryke-Force expanding again Lord Stryker Commissions the brand new Sigma division with Frostyblue as Division Head, and brings DA along as his XO.
All is not well at this time though. Rumors start circulating about a hero with very different powers running around Atlas Park calling himself the Drunken Avenger. DA began to investigate and soon came across the doppelganger. The first thing he noticed was except for his now green skin the two of them could be twins. After a brief battle between the two (Heros always fight each other when they first meet for some odd reason) the new arrival begins to tell his story. It seems he came from an alternate dimension dubbed Earth-Triumph, and had the exact same life as DA except for when they awoke, their powers seemed to diverge from their. However when fighting that earths version of Circle of Nails (Circle of Thorns here on Earth-Champion) he was a little late in stopping a Death Mages incantations and was transported here. The two DAs spent time trying to find a way back but was unsuccessful. The new DA then took the name Drunken Commander and joined up with DA in Stryke-Force for a time before founding Drunken Force. Drunken Force is a highly specialized Division setup for the sole purpose of assisting DA and Stryke Force missions.
The Circle still plagued DA and kidnapped and tortured Captain Morgan to get back at DA. DA was able to rescue his friend but not before becoming paralyzed. DA blamed himself and vowed to find a way to restore his friend. So when Darkstar of the Warshades approached him with a Nictus named N-Coke that wanted to join up with a human and make amends for his evil ways DA recommend his friend. After the Joining they took the name Captain N-Coke. Not long afterwards Mary discovered her true father and went to Sunstorm to be joined to a Kheldian to become a Peacebringer and took the name Bloodie Mary and began her fight to help her dad.
Michael Evans grew up not knowing who his father was. He was an Olympic gold medalist in archery, and began looking for his father after achieving that feat. His research led him to a drunken night his mom had with some Captain from the air force. He soon put the pieces of the puzzle together and discovered that DA was not only a hero of his but his father as well. Fashioning a costume together he became the Drunken Arrow and joined his father in Stryke-Force.
The Year: 2031
Frostyblue and Drunken Avenger are on routine patrol and are alerted to a bank robbery in Atlas park. Without a second thought they rush in like they have a million times before. However this time is different. What happened is not known, but Frosty and DA never return. SF is stunned and holds a fitting tribute to the founding members of Sigma.
The Year: 2045
Lord Styker finally realizing that is time was at an end retired from SF and went into retirement. All was well for about a month before, Steam-Punch and Mr. Grok both began plotting to take control of SF. The two began building alliances and soon all of SF was split into 2 camps. Even PoN, LES, UHB, and the Pingu Coalition picked sides and soon Civil War broke out in Paragon City. The City was destroyed and all groups disappeared.
The Year: 2350
John Stevens awakens again in another abandoned military installation. Thinking to himself that this really has to stop he set about investigating what had happened to him. The main thing his once green skin is now blue and hes missing one eye. His powers have mutated and changed. No longer the master of radiation he controls the Dark Electrical forces. He begins to tinker in the lab and creates a device to transport him back to 2031 and stop his and Frostys disappearance. However his calculations are off (Drunks and Math LOL) and arrive back in 2007. He immediately tracks Frosty down and explains to him what is going on. Reciting information that Only Drunken Avenger could have known Frosty knows that allowing others to know the truth could cause a lot of trouble. They vow to keep it a secret. When Drunken Avenger walks in on the two collabators, Frosty introduces him as Drunken Knight and explains he was just found in the same installation DA was found in a few years before, and had been a part of the same experiment. The story set DK begins his fight in Paragon again fighting along side his younger self while working with Frosty to try and change the future.
