  1. Thanks for the positive comments ^_^
  2. (pending approval that is ^_^)
Anyways, I figured a new thread with the finished item in the first post was good for the soul >_>

I am taking up to 6 com projects for the year. So if you have an idea you want to toss around for some feedback hit me up over at my DA and send a note.

Its not just minibusts either, masks, armor, reliefs, anything that could involve sculpting in a various medium.

    Comments welcome.

He is only 4 1/2 inches tall btw.
  3. nice story. wasn't all action packed focused on a fight like a few to many rp stories tend to be.
  4. thanks for the replies ^_^

actually its all done in clay.

that way i mold it and cast plastic copies, basically letting me cast as many as I want. Im super sculpy retarded but will learn it after i am happy with my average sculpts in clay.

but I was reading over sculpts like this and how they are treated when they are sold. Apparently as long as I keep the runs under 25 corps dont tend to get angry.

So if I finish it and i am happy with It i may make a limited 10 run. Dunno depends on how it turns out.

I got a kakashi one to finish up as well, needs smoothing and some minor tweaks.

I should be updating Spino this weekend. fingers crossed I will have the painting of it finished. Its getting its skin tone airbrushed tomorrow.

anywho plastic castings > supersculpy mine wont break nearly as easily ^_^

    Makes me want commission more

    [/ QUOTE ]

    this idea is fully supported.
  6. I hear i may be putting those two masks on ebay, but if anyone is interested in one they should drop me a line before i do so.
  7. fear the baldness

i heard three juggy masked bandits once beat up chuck norris.... discuss.
  8. post it as a scrapbook in deviant art.

that way it doesnt clutter your gallery but its easy to get to.
  9. pricing details in primary journal entry

its not all their because some things are just so varied its hard to quote. so if you start to note me your specifics i can hammer out a better estimate.
  10. Achtung Baby WiP face shot

cant link her full body shot, its mature content.

we are working on eventually blowing off socks, currently we will settle for happy customers.

The entire sculpt stands 4 inches tall
  11. not to overly toot my own horn but it falls into this type of thread.

I have begun doing commission pieces and offer a list of services that turn a 2d character into 3d.

    current WiP

    Completed Juggertha project

    My DA page

i think this current WiP will draw me in more buisness (im just starting up working with just the gf on our own projects instead of for companies.) So even if you dont sign up for something stop by and give me some page hits
  12. nah, just photos of it and it being made + the paper that goes with it.
Mask #3 is drying. 1 more to pour tomorrow night then they get painted most likely next week and we send you the best of the 3.

the guy who gave me my interview said i should get the instructional guide published. I am thinking about revising it and actually talking to some publishers to test the waters.

Its currently 31 pages. It would be 40 before I would bring it to a publisher, so not alot to add, just some editing and clarifying.

and we are looking forward to sculpting Achtung Baby, the expression and pose looks fun.
  13. updated my DA page with some scaled busts (unpainted) also any bust i do for people will be made on a good looking base, not just free standing.

nothing overly different with the last 2 shots of the juggy mask, just a better background.
  14. updated my main page with a list of cheaper products I can make based off of an OC.
  15. Thanks for all the praise. Ill pass it on to the other half of my dynamic duo.

Juggy has given me permission to sell the masks. So i will most likey make a limited run of a half dozen or so.

And we can do minibusts, full busts, masks, helmets (hard and soft), actual masks (think robins mask) minatures, cosplay props, ect.

So if you are looking for something specific drop my DA account a line. http://angelsrflamabl.deviantart.com/

I am staying away from copyrighted characters, so it has to be an Original Character. I dont care what the OC is from as long as its either 1) yours or 2) you have permission to use it.

scouts honor on that one ^_^

I won't be doing anymore freebes (i financially can't afford to.) So the only updates you will see from me are if I get some customers >_>. (and some of the stuff I make for work but thats not usually as fun to do.)
  16. So here is Juggertha done as a halloween mask.

    Front View

    3/4 view

so now i can wear juggys face >_>
  17. The guy is me
you can contact me through my DA page

though technically only half the skill set is male =P since my g/f and I team up on projects like this.

I want to avoid talking about price structure in threads, but if you have questions that are not about price Feel free to ask, i'll be checking back here once or twice a day for a few days.

Course I willb e posting a new thread with the finished project.
  18. Hey thats my DA page.

Sculpt finished as of 10:00 pm pst
I'll be molding it tomorrow, would do it tonight, but the average mold will take me 4-6 hours so meh on staying up that late.

I was gonna come over here and post up my WiP but Juggy beat me to it.

When i post the picture of the final mask ill also post a picture of the final sculpt. A resin cast neck up bust is crisper and closer to a sculpt, but the paper im doing this mask for is about making a holloween mask.

I have a basic price guide on my DA page about it.

    Just a short

((An intro to an old character that i came up with to account for the name changed forced since i reactivated my account, nothing super special but its far to long for the bio section in game.))

Techwork, an unlikely hero. How many stories start this way? A lot, but Techwork won’t admit to it, not because he thinks he is original, but because it simply isn’t something he would talk about.

First named Gasket by the Clockwork King he most resembles the original model for a Telsa Prince. The reason his line was discontinued and the Current Telsa Prince line is the one hero’s and villains alike see is for one reason and one reason only. Free will. A free will was given to Gasket so in the unlikely event he and any cogs he was in command of were separated he could get them back to where they needed to be. Without this Gasket would simply stand around with his cogs, only reacting to those who came near him, so if he became cut off, he would pose very little threat to anything but those within arm reach.

When the clockwork nearly got control of what they were after the heroes fought back even harder. Gasket had been ordered to destroy an orphanage to prove a distraction for the heroes. With a building housing many children falling to the ground, heroes in the area would have to either save the children and ignore the ground fighting, or ignore the children and lose the respect of the people they serve. As Gasket rumbled up to the door of the building a little girl walked out. Bare foot, and covered in debris. She didn’t say a word, but gasket could see the look of despair in her eyes. Another Telsa Prince shot its arm forward and the girl crumbled under the electricity it shot out. In that one moment Gasket knew the reason he had been created was wrong. He destroyed the Telsa who had killed the girl. He ripped off the power coils that produced the electric shocks from his own frame. Then he went to find the king…

No official document was written about the fight between the Clockwork called Gasket, and the King, it was rather unremarkable, Gasket managed to put a few solid hits in before he was simply overwhelmed and given a power surge. It fried most of his memory core, but the image of the little girl standing their asking for help with only her eyes was forever burned into it. The clockwork in a rare showing of respect Tossed Gasket at the doorstep of the orphanage and ignored it. It was the only building in that block to suffer no direct damage. However this wasn’t the end for Gasket.

The children has seen what the automaton had done, defended them against those that looked almost exactly like him. Several of the larger boys and girls dragged him into a shed after he had been left to rust on the doorway. Several of these teens were in votech schools where they learned mechanics and computer repair. The school systems sent these unwanted children to these schools because they usually couldn’t earn enough money to send themselves to college, and with some skills like these they could get good jobs and live a respectable life. The children worked for months on the hulk. Eventually they restarted him.

A rumble, deep from within stirred in… what was his designating? Turning on his optical receptors it saw many small smiling faces around him. “shhh it’s alive.” “Holy cow its working.” “And they said tech school was for losers.” “Lets put stickers on it and show it to head mistress.” “It’ll need paint as well.” “I got dibs on the first ride” All these things were said at about the same time. He only heard. “Its techwork” He rumbled and stood. “…I….Tech….work…… you….friend….. little…girl…friend….live…” After that labored sentence he sat again.

The head mistress was rather… unhappy, to say the least. When the police sirens were heard the children rushed to the shed. The oldest, and in fact the boy who had fixed his core processor spoke. “Listen Techwork, hear those sirens, always run from them, always. You are a good guy now, but they won’t understand. Listen Mary and Jake made you claws out of other clockwork parts left over from the war, you can extend them when you want, extend them if someone tries to hurt you. Techwork, this is your mission, you have to always defend children, until they can defend themselves. ALWAYS, got it. Now go fast, before they lock you up and try and destroy you.”

Techwork was seen in Atlas Park for a few months after that, but the Paragon police eventually cracked down on the area. The heroes saw him as harmless, but to an average human he was just another clockwork. Soon after the crackdown Techwork went missing. Until today
