The thing I've noticed is that prestige isn't balanced for existing Supergroups, it's balanced for new ones.
So it assumes that you will have members levelling from the low levels to the high ones in SG mode and gaining large amounts of Prestige.
I think some of our SG members in CoV have somewhere in the region of 100k prestige at the mid to high 20s.
I imagine the base is balanced so that a super-team of 8 regular active players would have a small functional base by the mid twenties.

Yes they took a far too simplistic look at how to give prestige for existing groups.
I think it would be fair to say that most people in a SG that are made aware that you might as well be in SG mode from joining to 25 would do so. As you say this can be in excess of 100k prestige.
At the other end of the scale inf becomes pretty useless around level 40. So 10 levels of prestige there as well would have been fair and of course you can play beyond 50.
So to simplify work out on the amount of influence earned for a player so far. They have this figure it is used to award inf badges, doesn't include donated inf or enhancements sold.
Work out how much inf generally per level, scale for prestige, take a break between 25 and 40. Hopefully they have some data on what levels you were in when in SGs. Otherwise just make it current SG and you joined at level 10.
That to me is very very light data mining. But of course ignores the fact that they didn't want heroes to be ahead of villains. But as they have put old heroes behind in practice anyway, I am happy to ignore that goal in the same way they have. -

Having read most of the rest of the thread, I tend to agree with what the guys say. The worrying thing is that he seemed to think that his test was a valid ( and successful ) one.
I hope that the role Statesman played on the team isn't the one he expects us to play.

Even without Granite on. I would feel a little embaressed as a tank if I could only handle 1/3 of a mob and not go after the real nasty villians. Especially with an Empath and Kinetics on the team. -

Ive got 5 powers left to take; I will be taking both minerals and seismic smash, but have no idea what else would be a good idea and would like to hear from other stone tanks. Also, slotting for mud pots Ive currently got 3 dam / 1 end red but Im thinking of dropping in a taunt enhancer instead of damage

Tremor and Fault are great for keeping massed groups constantly falling over.
Leave the damage in you will have more slots than you know what to do with and you can put some Taunts in them.

As for the tanking itself, I primarily faced Nemesis and Devoured Earth on teams of 4-5. The teams consisted of tankers, scrappers and blasters only for the most part; I was able to hold aggro on L41 and L43 Nemesis mobs without too much difficulty, although damaging them was another matter. I havent had the need to turn on Earths Embrace all weekend. I also had my first experience with sappers, who will be the death of me by the looks of things. I havent gone against psi yet either.

Root and TP to the Sapper, Rooted can take a few shots, plenty of time to splat the Sapper.
The drop in GA is more noticeable as the villians get tougher. Rularuu, carnival with Psi villians mixed in can wear you down.
The -recharge is the real killer but now we have slots for recharges. 2 per power to counter it. -
I use to run EE/Rooted/Rock Armor quite a bit before ED. As you said with Fault and Tremor you can keep them flipping quite nicely.
However some villians just don't flip over nicely, like good boys and girls. Plus I would sometimes find myself eating dirt so quickly I didn't even get a chance to think what the hell was that.
After ED I think Rooted which is really the key to it working is just too low.
Of course you haven't got any choice pre-granite. -
Almost seems a shame we ran out of them.
I only have the Sewer Trial badge to get if anybody is interested?
p.s. Thanks to Filth for making up the team, with ED it felt like I was wearing someone elses armour. Not sure I could have handled the aggro on my own. A sad state of affairs. -

Couldn't have you feeling warm and fuzzy in your build. -
Don't get too overconfident there is something up with Invincibility which if corrected could make your world a whole lot more difficult.

Sunday is generally not a good day, but any evening after 8 with a bit of warning is fine with me.
And yeah still got to be done. -
Also Rans vs Cannon Fodder
Looks like they managed to nerf our grudge match. Couldn't connect to server, even with the directory copying suggested by Bridger.

Yep - this is the AI change to "fix" herding...

Was herding broken then, worked fine in I5.
Better AI might have been for a max to chase you, rather than ignore you when you are standing next to them. I would hate for any realism to sneak in to these constant changes. -
