i put it in combat jumping. It's providing no benefit with CJ toggled on or off.

EDIT: This is fixed as of the 9/27/2011 patch
So I bought a Karma knockback protection enhancement from the Paragon Market. I slotted it, but I'm getting zero points of knockback protection according to my combat attributes monitor. It's also pretty obvious as my character flops around on the ground.
Known issue? Being worked on?
$1.25 for knockback protection is worth it to me, if it worked.
I'm apprehensive about purchasing other enhancements when this one doesn't work at all.
FYI: I also posted this in the regular bug forum. Didn't realize there was a special forum for I21 bugs. -

Quote:What they showed at PAX was a combination of Malta tech-looking items and old west gunfighter. It looked neat, but it's hard to say how it will turn out. It's not unusual to see changes made for better or worse between when going from concept to final product.I saw that set, was curious. Saw this plain guy wearing a long coat, basic pants and no hair. I was like... What's that have to do with being a 'Gunslinger'?
Now I'm curious if it will be the Malta pieces or all new western themed pieces.
The "gunslinger" costume combo in the character creator has been around a while, hasn't it? Seems like it has and like it's been broken for some time. I think it's supposed to use available items to create an old west look using a hat and long jacket. -
Quote:He says it while buying a new "eyePhone".quick off topic question.
I haven't watched much Futurama *Dodges bullet* so I'm curious.
Is the meme "Shut up and take my money" Something Fry actually say's in the scene most often depicted (as above)? Or was that pic just randomly choosen to go with the saying?

Quote:Hmm. Too rich for my blood.Nope, it was $20 for 10 (not figuring "discounts" we get for being VIP or for bundles) since I was in Beta, which was when it went open.
I would have bought as many as possible at $10 for 10 slots, but won't buy any at $20 for 10 slots. If others are happy to pay that price, more power to them. -
Quote:You got me for 200 dollars today. Had to buy all the enhancement storage increases, recipe increases, and salvage increases. (Of course beam rifle too)...
Oh well now I got like 10 tokens banked (Was already complete Tier 9)...
I had 1750 points. I bought the party pack emotes for .50 each.
I have a lot of points left.
Actually, I was considering buying $100 worth of points and getting some enhancement storage increases, but had sticker shock at the pricetag of $20 for 10 slots. -
To be fair, it was just concept art. I seem to recall Posi saying it was something coming in the future; i.e., not "soon".

Speaking of videos from the early days: E3 2002 demo video
- It's narrated by Jack Emmert. He refers to "Rick" controlling the character. I wonder if it was Rick Dakan, the original lead developer and author of the Blue King comics.
- Where's my statue? And my money?
- It's funny to see the character going down all of those stairs and two sets of doors just to leave the hospital.
- Check out that UI. I realize it was an alpha or pre-alpha build, but whew, I'm sure glad they overhauled it.

San Jose, CA - September 26, 2001 - Cryptic Studios proudly announces "City of Heroes," a massively multiplayer online world home to an entire universe of super-powered, comic book style adventure. When the game releases next summer, thousands of players can take on the roles of superheroes, fight villains, and help create the story in a stunning, 3D graphical world, courtesy of the San Jose-based developer.
Super Powered Action and Adventure
City of Heroes is the first superhero themed online RPG and will offer a host of exciting and compelling gameplay features. Players create their own heroes, choosing from hundreds of different powers, skills, abilities, and items and design their own unique costumes. Then they can band together with other players to fight evil, build their own secret headquarters and strive to become the premiere hero group in the city.
Gamers will confront super villains, aliens, madmen, monsters, criminals, and other fearsome foes. They can take on personalized missions and rid the city of dozens of different evil organizations and hundreds of individual enemies. With success players acquire power, wealth, and fame and come to bask in the spotlight and rake in the rewards as their powers and fame grow with each successful mission and every defeated foe.
City of Heroes takes place amongst the skyscrapers, slums, sewers and streets of Paragon City, a sprawling online metropolis that offers unlimited adventure and countless surprises. Fun! And on my day off so I should be able to make it.

Thank goodness they sent him home.
A war zone is no place for a summer vacation, even if he's a wanna be soldier. In fact, his lack of training would make him a hazard to even the poorly trained Libyan rebels. -
Quote:I, too, am a Lions fan. It's the decades spent suffering that make the good years so sweet. And there are two admitted Lions fans?! I didn't think that happened.
They will challenge for a playoff spot this year, maybe even for the division title. My prediction is at least nine wins. Feel free to quote me on this later. -
Quote:That's what I've been hoping for as well, but at PAX Posi said there are clipping issues with jetpacks as costume pieces. Disappointing.I'm glad we're getting back items.
I hope we get some jetpack costume parts soon, because that was the #1 request for back items (after capes and wings). I remember how excited some of us got back in 2006 when Jay mentioned Positron asking him for tons of jetpack designs, only to learn that it was for purchasable temp powers, not costume parts.
Five years later, we're told we're finally getting back slot costume items. And, hey, backpacks. That's cool, I guess. But you know, a jetpack would be really, really exciting.
I did get the impression that quivers and kheldian sashes may be coming soon. -
I live in Decatur. I'd be up for a meet and greet in the evening next year.

I didn't get pics of those. It's possible that someone else did. It's also possible that Posi or Zwillinger will post them somewhere.
