Thank you all very much! Exactly the info I am/was looking for.

Hi,
Let me introduce myself...
I am a 3 yr Vet who sometimes joins PU groups, but usually solos. I'd like to change that, mainly because I miss a lot of fun/exciting content that IMO takes good teams to do (taskforces, AV fights, etc.)
I have an RL friend who recently bought GR and played like a madman for a month straight, but now he hardly plays at all (he has AGAD = Adult Gamer Attention Disorder)
I have 1 lvl 50, (a villian on Triumph named Regiment) I like badges but am not obsessed with having them all.
I'm a middle-aged WM, with a good sense of humor and an open mind (I wont be offended by advice on playstyle or AT building). I usually play a bit during the morning/early afternoon, and play longer at night once I get home from work around 9 or 10pm EST. Weekends are usually open too.
I have no problem playing in SG mode. Heck my lvl 50 is still in SG mode even though he does'nt get played much anymore.
I have 2 heroes I'd like to bring to an SG, a lvl 26(atm) SS/Regen brute named World Champion and a lvl 16 DP/Dark blaster named Ghosttown.
I make old-school looking heroes (Captain America, Superman, etc.) and take pride in (most) of my toons. I cant play a character unless I have (to me) a good name. I dont roleplay, but like all my toons to be "real" super- heroes/villians. I want to take pride in my SG also, so not really interested in silly named SG's (no offense meant at all).
Thanks for taking your time to read my over-long post!

Hi,
I'm looking for advice on the direction(s) I should take with my lvl 26 SS/Regen brute. (resists, defense, etc.) Please dont say "reroll a WP", I took regen because I wanted regen.
I'm not a power gamer, so I'm not too concerned with being able to solo at +4/x8. I usually solo, but would like to be able to tank for a team should I have the chance.
I guess I'm looking for general advice, like should I take tough and or weave, leadership, combat jump, etc. He has been a very end. friendly toon so I can handle another toggle or two.
I'm not rich by any means, but I do have enough influence that I will be able to IO him in non-purples later on.
I'd like to get to perma rage status at some point in time, (already have 1 full set of kinetic crash slotted and haste).
Would appreciate suggestions as to what I should look for in the IO sets, like recharge time, resists, def, etc. Also any playstyle tips will be viewed with an open mind.
Thank you for your time and suggestions.

Hi everyone!
I seldom post, but I "stalk" the forums all the time. yuk yuk
I have a stalker (lvl 18 Nin/Nin) and it seems to me there should be a different way for a stalker to get a critical. No, not saying to take away assassin strike, but to take away the chance to crit in normal melee.
What I'm getting at is it should be replaced with something having to do with the "element of surprise".
Everytime I start with a successful AS, it "feels" like the next couple/few attacks that hit should get a critical. It just seems like that (to me) should be the way stalker criticals should work. I just came from outta no-where and assassinated someone and while I have the element of surprise, I either finish off the original target (for higher levels) or strike out at the next target, while they are stunned/surprised/shocked, thus my next couple/few attacks get an automatic crit. Kind of an automatic build-up that only works following a successful AS.
What do ya think?
Sorry if it was hard to follow. Just my opinion/idea and wanted to see what real stalkers think because my stalker is still a n00b!
Thanks and have a good one! -
I dont know if its been done before and it would be just a one shot comic (kinda like the Far Side) I think it would be funny to CoH, MMO, and PvP players.
Send me a PM and I'll give you my idea. Will use the first interested artist.
Thanks in advance.
