  1. Can we choose at the end whether to help the Praetorian invasion, instead of hinder it?

Sybil outfits gets my vote too.

If I recall we had them for about 16 minutes then they were pulled because someone spilt coffee on Posi's favourite mouse mat and he needed to take t3H Rag3! out on someone.
  3. Sniped by a Virturian!

Gratz, have fun with them peep
  4. Tee hee!

To point: the tallest free-standing structure on Primal Earth that we see used to be the Faultline dam, before they flooded the zone. The dam wall was over half a mile tall from the base of the Reservoir to the top of the "tower" crane above, which was still lower than the top of the actuall dam wall where the shield wall is.

And they had to go and ruin it...
If the damn really was freestanding then it's no wonder the zone got flooded.

Cos like...water could get around the sides...

Same here. I was and remain a pretty obsessive Heroclix geek. I bought the Statesman clix then the entire CoV game on release day just for the new villain clix. I then proceeded to not even take the game itself out of the Collector's box for all of November and December. I came *very* close to selling the game.

As a coincidence, a friend told me they were busy playing the game and that I should try it out. I decided since I was buying a new computer in January I would use the game to test out the shiney graphics card in it.

I started playing in early January, but was annoyed since I couldn't play with my friend (I spent a while triyng to find the Champion server on the European version of the game, heh). I contacted customer support and demanded a transfer to the US servers, which they granted.

So then I joined Champion and have played there ever since
  7. Sadness

Was this also "Sady's CHICK", or something like that? I remember teaming with that person lots and lots redside over the last few years.

I like how Epic is defined here as unique then used in plural when related to a single subject. The use of quantify is fun too.

Take no notice of me, I've just reached the maxmimum setting on my Boredom-O-Meter, where I begin to channel a mixture of Peter Venkman and River Tam.

While that fails miserably with VEATs, they make up for it by being badass anyway, so...win-win?
Tell me, O Ghost Widow, of that ingenious heroine who travelled far and wide after she had sacked the famous town of Sharkhead. Many city zones did she visit, and many were the archetypes with whose powers and buffs she was acquainted; moreover she suffered much by nerf while trying to rez herself and bring her team safely to the mission exit; but do what she might she could not save her team, for they perished through their own sheer idiocy in aggroing the Mitos of the scary-like Hamidon; so the Hamidon prevented them from ever earning merits. PM me, too, about all these things, O Soldiers of Arachnos, from whatsoever Arcanaville guide you may have added to your internet favourites.

So now all who disconnected in battle or by base teleport had got safely home except Golden Girl, and she, though she was longing to return to her TF and Supergroup, was detained by the Moderator 8, who had muted her in a large thread and wanted to ignore her. But as posts went by, there came a free update when the gods settled that she should go back to blueside; even then, however, when she was among her own alignment, her troubles were not yet over; nevertheless all the Soldiers of Arachnos had now begun to pity her except Lord Recluse, who still one-shotted her without ceasing and would not let her make a Night Widow.
  11. Sorry, Nemesis is the second round, not the third. The third is the special zebra-striped Arachnos Flyer (you can lose this round and still get the medallion, but you'll lose 2 costume tokens and 500 Gil).
  12. Issue 20 will add fatalities, but blood will be represented as flowers for Heroes and spiders for Villains, skulls for Vigilantes and playing cards for Rogues.

UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN, Tier 9 power, UP is the spine-rip fatality. You need to be within 2 feet for it to work.

DOWN, FORWARD, BACK, FORWARD, delete 1 salvage, FORWARD causes your character to blow a kiss, making the other character expand then explode.

Not heard about the other moves yet. I know some are map-specific, such as dropping the globe in Atlas Park on your opponent or uppercutting them into the path of a tram.

To use the fatalities you first need to run the incarnate story arc. You have to say "NO" when Statesman asks you to dance in the ballroom then exit/enter twice until Nemesis appears on the map. You then must defeat Nemesis in the 3rd round of the arm wrestling contest (tap <- -> repeatedly) then select Darwin's Bane as your advocate for the debating stage of the competition. If you answer the seven questions correctly (YES, NO, NO, Rikti, Blue Steel, Marketing department) AND correctly select which cup Faathim has hidden the Overseer underneath after his quick switching, then War Witch trades you the fatality medallion for 5 alignment merits and whichever Enhancement you have slotted into Brawl (unless it is a HO/SHO, which she refuses to accept - this is bugged).
  13. You really wanna know? Cos the answer's easy.

See, you're "GOOD" Infernal. And I'm "BAAAD" Infernal.

You're goody little two shoes, goody little two shoes, goody little two shoes, goody little TWO shoes, goody little two shoes, goody little two shoes, goody little two shoes, goody little *TWO* shoes, goody little

The codes were already promised and someone screwed up by not giving them all right from the beginning. Now they have to fix themselves. If you think that is far-fetched, keep in mind that this is the third or fourth "Contest/Give Away" in a row that Paragon Studios has messed up. Do the research, it's right here at the top of the "News, Events & Announcement Discussion" section of the forums.
"Do the research"? Did you hear that last night on a cop show and thought it sounded so cool you had to wedge it incongrously into a forum post to sound clever? Unnecessary aggression ftl.

Marketing runs the competitions and promotions. Marketing accompanied Avatea and the other rednames to each contest, whispering in their ear with guidance about what to say and do during each party night on each server for this event. Marketing come up with the contest ideas, prizes and how to distribute them.

Nemesis is a Marketing plot. In fact literally so, if you think about it

They're contacting Ebilbay to make sure any naughty code sales get pulled down (like account sales), before simultaneously distributing a potential several thousand dollars worth of codes to the winners.

*gives sideways glance at naughty sellers*

Or there's a problem with (insert Star Wars Imperial music cue) MARKETING.

Maybe Marketing is disturbed by our lack of faith. Or displeased with our apparent lack of progress. Or accepting Avatea's apology. Or destroying us ship-to-ship. Or sensing something. Or looking on Avatea with their own eyes. Or have decided they want to launch the NPC costume set as a "Celebration Pack" costing $19.99.
  17. Avatea...

If you don't get the codes to us soon then I am afraid we will need to start talking about you throwing in the upcoming Rikti Mentalist code as well for compensation, since technically it will be one of the "set".

    Tee hee!
  18. Once Avatea finally manages to give me my set of NPC costume codes, can I use this/these event(s) to give those codes away? I need to since the only other alternatives are keeping two sets for no reason or selling them for hundreds of dollars on evilbay.

  20. Those robots are the worst ones. Every time I bring a Mastermind into one of my missions we get hit with groups of five at once trying to block our path.

  22. The next Vet Reward should be a summonable Sexy Jay, allowing them (and anyone else around) to access the Tailor UI from any location.

The summoned item would be a re-coloured Portable Crafting Table, except it projects a holographic image above it of Sexy Jay doing the new Disco Dance from the Party Pack.

The in-game Sexy Jay hologram would be transparent pink, dressed in a toga, with an elaborate "J" symbol on his chest.

Lasts for 10 minutes, recharge time 5 hours.

    Made of win!
  23. What the Party Pack should have been (in addition to what it is):

    Costume pieces:
Party hat costume piece (two types - pointy and paper crown)
Bow costume pieces (party gift bows for Chest Detail, Gloves and Shoulders i.e. around neck).
Colourable "Raver" neon band costume pieces (sunglasses, necklace, wrist bands, Chest Detail)
Masquerade Face costume piece (3 types, one similar to a carnie mask, one an elegant/elaborate eye mask and one similar to a Banished Bantheon Tiki mask).

    Emotes:
    Party whistle emote
    Jump out of cake emote
    Throw Streamers emote
"Protest" emote where sign says either "Happy Birthday!", "Happy Holidays" or "Party Time!".

    Power:
Make a Wish power (animation of lifting a cake with candles and blowing them out. The power grants the same buff as Mystic Fortune, but on self. Does not stack with Mystic Fortune).
  24. They ran out of NPCs to flay for their skins...
