CoX is - with a few rare incidences - black and white. Heroes save people, and arrest the bad guys. Villains stab each other in the back to gain more control and power, and kill - actual killing, outlined by one more than one contact - anyone who gets in the way.

I have to disagree to the 'with a few rare incidences'. In my experience (due to the arcs my character has followed so this might not be global), most villain plots actually end up being very heroic at the end of the day.
Seer Marino's story arc: You are helping to save someones life (and someone elses unlife) and stop a conspiracy
Scrapyarders wife arc: You are saving Scrappys wife from capture on the captains behalf (granted, you were told you would be kidnapping her but in the end you do a good deed).
Plus many other arcs and independent missions that at the end of the day have good results or end up as bad guy bashing...Overall I think the only truly evil stories I've done have been beating up the major heroes (BAB, Aurora etc.) -
Yep, thanks to everyone who took part, hope to see you again in another group soon!

Pyrechill is welcome to come along, we're going ahead at 7pm as planned, meet in nerva.
We're now full (spoke to some peeps in game today and got a full 8) if anyone else is still interested leave a message with your charname and if we get any drops I'll call in game. -
Hi all,
Myself and one other member of my SG are looking to do the respec trial sometime soon and I'm trying to see if anyone else is out there and fancies joining us.
Currently we are:
Experiment 365 (lv 27 robot/shield MM)
Faing (lv 27 claw/regen stalker)
Anyone else who wants to come along is more than welcome, minimum level is 24 for the respec but obviously the higher the better since it can get quite tough!
We're planning for Tuesday 3rd January, at 7pm but the time is flexible, so if there are plenty of people who can come earlier/later I don't mind moving the window.
Please reply here, or over PM -
6 minutes?!? yeech!
Oh well, at least my worry about the time it will take to summon/shield/upgrade all my bots on map switch when I reach higher levels goes away somewhat -
Hmm, interesting point on the knockback...it's not so much the actual knockback distance that is of interest...and thats all the enhancement is improving isn't it? I thought it might enhance the knockback chance but probably not now that you mention it!
I think I'll 2dam/2acc/2def my protector. it really annoys me that they don't ever seem to actually heal when they need to. Even if you specifically tell the protector bot to go passive he sometimes stands there while a battle drone is dying and doesn't use his healing ray at all.
Will see how effective that upgrade power is when he gets his next bolt on, can always switch in the disorients if it proves useful... -
Hi,
Just about getting to the stage where I can think about SO's and hence have ED issues to worry about. Up till now my bots have all been slotted with dam/acc enhancers but that will change once I move to SO's
I'm thinking my drones will be 2 dam, 2 acc and 2 knockback enh - anyone think this is a bad idea?
I notice the protector bot can take some interesting enhancers, notably:
Defense buff (presumeably improves it's forcefield)
Disorient duration ([censored]...I've not seen it's attacks ever disorient a foe??)
healing (assume this improves it's heal ray)
to hit debuff (??? never seen it debuff enemies)
So what do you think I should slot my protectors with? I'm probably going to go for 2 dam, 2 acc again but those last 2 I'm unsure on. Could do knockback again but thats pretty boring. Could do defense buff which sounds sensible since it protects everything but itself with them. I don't fancy doing healing since it's a bit dumb about using it's healing ray and I can keep the robots repaired through other means.
It's that disorient and to hit debuff I don't quite get - I've not seen it perform attacks that do either (obviously any way!)
Any thoughts/advice?
