I had a bit of trouble with the position, he's lying on the ground with his arm reached out. I especially had trouble with the chest area, it doesn't look right.

Haha.. no one's guessed it yet. Don't just look at the picture, and look around the page maybe?

I think I know how. It works for me.



Make a new layer under your linework layer, and your color layer (if you have one). Pick a color, I think the darker the darker the shading will be, I'm not sure. But anyway, use your brush on the parts you want the shading to go, on the new layer, and it should appear darker.

I'm talking Photoshop.

Say, if you scan a picture in, and you're going to color with a layer set on 'multiply', but you scanned it in so it's not transparent, therefore you can't color it that way... Is there any way to get around that?



Or do you have to color a different way?


If it's the latter what ways could be done that work well? Just filling on the same layer doesn't look very good...


How else can you color in Photoshop?

Then the main site and all da peeplz get to see our awesome work! I mean we work hard on these. It's kinda sad that after a few people respond to your work, then it kind of dissapears and dies down. It would be cool if a lot of artwork got put into the main website!

He's not *really* a superhero in tights or anything...


He's for a fantasy comic. Trying to get as good as I can at drawing him, and I have a scene I think might work.
