cell shading question
I'll tinker and see what I can do.
I think I know how. It works for me.
Make a new layer under your linework layer, and your color layer (if you have one). Pick a color, I think the darker the darker the shading will be, I'm not sure. But anyway, use your brush on the parts you want the shading to go, on the new layer, and it should appear darker.

This is the best I got, but I haven't been able to replicate it too well. You may also want to experiment with the Sumi-e filter.
