The prereqs for DP CB invites were A) being a 60+ month vet, B) keeping your subscription active during the loyalty period (August 15th through November 15th of last year) or C) attending Hero Con.
Sometimes invite emails fall through the cracks, though. -

This actually brings back some memories. Way back in the day, TheForce.net did regular caption contests on their humor page and I remember sending dozens of entries, hoping one would be picked. -

There are a number of negatives to merging the servers and they outweigh any positives. I happen to like my server just the way it is, and lumping all the players together will send this game downhill in a hurry. It's one thing when a game starts out with just one server, but cramming all the players together will work about as well as it worked in Africa when numerous disparate tribes were lumped together into whole nations by European powers.

I don't get it. The link is the same URL as the actual login page for the official NCSoft site. Or is the URL in the email something different from what is shown?

I don't keep track of how much or how little I make. I make money when I need to slot out a toon and then I stop. I guess if I was constantly building up cash I wouldn't need to wait to slot out my toons, but I'm too lazy for that.

Could they change everyone's name to CharacterName@GlobalName? If they add the global name to the end of your character name then you could have any name you want without worrying about it not being available. Character names would appear in team windows and above character's heads, but in chat they would appear as CharacterName@GlobalName. It might make sending tells and invites more cumbersome but that's the only downside I can see.
