@CR: Cute was what I was going for! -

Though I can't actually participate in this battle *pouts*, as I'm the host...
Here's my entry!
I picked my own character Darth Delicious snuggling her cat, Samwise.
With a pair of Lovebirds watching.
In my opinion, Valentine (or love for that matter) is not only for couples, but for friends and family (pets are family) too.
For pose-reference I used a picture of me and my cat, for the birds I used some from my own collection of "Fairy Tails".
Suitable for the theme, these are called the "Love Birds" from the "Love Bird Set". -
BWHAHAHAH!!!! That is funny!.. disturbing.. but funny
-
Shall I let you guys in on a little secret? *giggles mysteriously*
As of late, I have taken on a course to make cloths!
--Which is shocking as sofar any sewing machine I touched got messed up. I bend every needle I use (still do) and make myself bleed because I'm a master in piercing all the pins and needles right into my fingertops *giggles again*.
Nevertheless... I have been tempted alot lately to make a costume (yes, it started with the chainmail bikinitop) and decided it might be worth a course.
Miraculously it seems to work!--
In between the studying of creating patterns and using them I have been practicing on the sewing machine to make a CoH related belt! Or the pouches at least.
This is what I got sofar (the belt is not part of the costume btw. It will be exchanged for a black one at some point):
My end goal is creating a complete costume, based on my character Darth Delicious`s clothing. Though sneakily I'm changing it slightly in-game to make it work irl.
For example, I gave her goggles, as it's impossible for me to wear lenses and I can't go without my glasses. So.. goggles it is! (I'll be creating an IC story for that some day). I think I found the perfect pair, which I'll need to paint to make it more Dee-like, like this:
And also Dee officially wears the Spine armthingies and gloves and belt... but I don't have a clue where to start on creating stuff like that. So... for now, the belt will change into the "pouch-belt". So mobile phones and other little stuff can be carried along.
I also have a pink wig, which will need work to make the hairdue more CoH-like.
When will I wear it? Never... possibly *giggles*. Or maybe, if I feel adventurous, on Fantasy Fairs or Comic Cons or... something like those.
I'm just having fun creating it! -
no worries about going "offtopic" Reporter. And you (and your wife) are welcome! I feel honered having a drawing as a wallpaper on someone's computer

Yeah it took me several years too! I started out in the Roleplaying Section, writing stories mostly.
I think CR pointed the Fan Art section out to me, through DA.
*suddenly feels old* That was a LONG time ago
@welshman_EU: *giggles and blushes* Thanks dear -
Oh! Then this looks like a good place to show the first art trade and collaboration, I did with the much talented Christopher Robin, back in 2008.
Fun idea as is the Coffee Talk!
CR drew for me one of my main characters, Darth Delicious:
I drew one of his, Xllusya:
Then I coloured his drawing and he helped with touch ups after which I gave it a background:
And just this year I finished colouring my drawing of Xllusya:
(for (more) credits and references, I advise visiting my DA page by clicking on one of the images)

Thanks Reporter!
I'll see what I can do about that wallpaper. I'll PM you about it. -
Oh yes, definitely!
I don't think I know how to draw without
-
*giggles* I didn't even see this one yet! But it definitely encourages a giggle! Well done Cami!
-
2 more days untill the early bird deadline!
-
! I like you thought Fireheart hahaha.
*climbs back on her chair*
No... actually... I based them on Hasbro's Fairy Tails, from the 80s. I adore 'm!
I have over 30 in my collection!
This is the LoveBird set btw
Though Fairy Tails do have quite a disturbing line to go with them...Birds with happy endings!
So.. I thought I'd make a tiny little tribute *giggles* and add them to my February FArt Battle drawingI'm not 100% happy with their hair just yet... But I still have LOADS of time
Edit: Update on the drawing:
-
Eventhough I'm not allowed to participate in the FArt Battle... I do have the intention of drawing something for each theme.
Today I've been working February's theme, Valentine/Love and feel like sharing it. Well... part of it.
You'll probably think...how is this CoH related...well... stay tuned for the full drawing! *giggles*

Another bonusprize has been added. This one is for the month of July!
July: a role in the very amusing City of Heroes related webcomic Wootlabs by Square_Woot!

Chapter 3 should be wrapped up by the end of summer.
In the fall, I'll be doing one that requires a hero character for a speaking role, one that will span several comics. It's that role that I'd like to offer up as a prize.
The only concession is that it would have to be a character that's suitable for Wootlabs PG rating; nothing too racy or mature. -
