As the title says; RolePlay as if you were PvPing with the character above you.
Here are some rules, and clarifications:
- Choose one of your characters to use in this fight
- Before you start: state your characters
powersets, AT, and
signature powers that he or she uses in PvP.
- A
description or
screenshot of your character might be nice for the next person to use (in order to RP better).
- You decide if you win or loose.
- You decide which
location you fight at, be it an Arena-match, a Sirens neighborhood battle , a barbrawl, stopping someone from launching a Warburg-missile, etc (or you could continue where the previous post ended).
- Its just
1vs1! No teammates, no SG coming too the rescue. Youre on your own .
- Keep it as real as possible. So no: I kept Brawling him until all his toggles were down-stuff. But more like: the ordinary punch in his face surprised him, and now that he lowered his guard I could strike through his defenses
or something like that .
Because I am the first one to post, Ill choose one of my own villains to PvP with.
The character I choose is my Main
Darkhold. Hes a Dark Melee/Regen Scrapper who uses SuperSpeed, Fly (incl. Air Superiority) and Touch of Fear, a lot .
Darkhold has got a demon inside him that he learned to control and suppress. His years of fighting crime have made him an experienced streetfighter, which is reflected in the use of Leadership/Tactics. He looks like, well
just look at my Avatar

.
(for this match Ill be fighting my own villain: Crom Cruaich). Crom Cruaich is an Energy Melee/Dark Armor Brute who stealths a lot with his Cloak of Darkness.
He is a warlord from another dimension that drains the energy of every creature he kills. His armor is connected to a Netherrealm-like dimension, giving him his Dark Armor powers. He has a vast resource of energies, which he puts in his mighty Energy Melee.
-----/RP ON-----
Warburg is a serious threat. Ever since Recluse lost control of it to a mutiny, it has been a pool of chaos. Even now that hes gone from the island Paragon City hasnt become any safer. But at least we now have an excuse to interfere here, Darkhold thought.
Darkhold sat crouched on a ledge, high above the ground. For a hero, many people think he looks too sinister. But that isnt his fault: the demon inside him ravaged his body. Its partially destroyed, revealing the green demonic energies that linger within it.
This spot was perfect for keeping an eye on the missile silo. The rogue Arachnos faction wasnt the biggest thread. The villains were. All the scum Recluse set free did not consider, or fear the consequences of launching a nuclear missile at the US coast. Darkhold had already intercepted three today
villains, not missiles. But he was sure there would be more to
A sudden burst of pain erupted in his back, and the next thing he saw was the ground heading towards him at a disturbing speed. He crashed, felt his bones break, but rolled over in order to take out some of the falls damage. As he lay on the ground, Darkhold drew on the Demonic Energies inside him to restore the damage done by the fall. He would be healed shortly
unfortunately it did not stop the pain.
He looked up to see what made him fall of the ledge. The only thing he saw was a dark blur
getting larger and closing in on the ground, on him! He rolled on his side just before the blurry creature landed on the ground, crushing the pavement where Darkhold was just laying.
you are fast, the blurry creature said.
I will enjoy siphoning your life essence. it laughed in a heavy voice. The dark blur disappeared and a tall, strong looking figure emerged. His dark blue armor was decorated with skulls, unable to tell if they were real or an artificial part of the armor. The strangers face was strangely pale blue. Hidden underneath a trimmed beard, and long hair bound in a ponytail. He was clearly of some age, but still looked very potent.
You wont have anything to enjoy, Darkhold replied.
Unless you like traveling. Because youll be getting a one-way ticket to the hospital.
Brave words, hero. Lets see if you fight as bravely. The shadows around the character seemed to flow towards him. Darkness gathered around his armor. Darkhold could swear he heard a haunted moan coming from the harness.
Crom Cruaich is my name. Remember it when you get to the afterlife. Youll meet many there who know it. Ill try remember what your face looks like. Because you wont recognize it when I am done with you! Darkhold said, and he jumped on his feet.
The tall Crom Cruaich charged at him, his fists crackling with energy. Darkhold tried to avoid the first blow, but he was still shaken from the crash. The villain merely touched Darkhold, but he could feel the damaging energy rush into his body, throwing him back like a ragdoll. It took all his effort to land on his feet, and evade the next devastating attack Crom Cruaich sent after him. But the old man was faster than he looked. He rapidly followed his attacks with a barrage of two more punches, which Darkhold did not know to evade.
You disappoint me, hero. I had expected a better fight than that.
I havent started yet. But Ill sure as hell will finish it.
Once again you talk better than you fight.
I would do better if youd stop hitting me. But somehow I doubt youd do that for me.
Darkhold blocked the next strike and punched Cruaich in the face, which clearly surprised him. The slow hesitation gave Darkhold the chance he was looking for. I drew on the Demonic Energies that occupied his body. The world seemed to slow down around him as he launched a flurry of blows on the armor of Crom Cruaich. Blow after blow landed on the villains armor, but he kept standing. A massive blow from the back of his armored fist sent Darkhold flying again, crashing through a stores window. The cuts on his back closed immediately, though.
It seems that you do know how to fight. Crom Cruaich said. He looked like Darkholds flurry hadnt damaged him. But Darkhold noticed a small tear in Croms eye. And its no tear of saidness: he had hit him good. He looked at the armor again. This time he noticed a small rupture where hed just hit the villain. This might be the only chance hed get.
Surrender, hero. And Ill promise Ill make your death quick and painless
or atleast quick.
Well, this is usually the point where the good-guy says Ive got a better idea. So, Ive got a better idea. What if Id strangle you with some dark tentacles instead.
Darkhold focused, tapped into his demon essence and released part of it. Shadowy tentacles came out of the dark, grabbing hold of Crom Cruaich.
What the
Thats what I thought the first time.
With his mind, Darkhold steered the tentacles into the small rupture of the armor.
NO! How did you
GAH!
Darkhold got on his feet, jumped through the glass-less window and charged at the villain. The tentacles had made the rupture larger. Just large enough for a fist to go through. Darkhold wrapped his fist in dark, demonic energy, braced himself, and punched through the rupture.
ARRRGH! Crom Cruaich ripped himself loose from the tentacles, who disappeared into thin air. Once again he smacked Darkhold with the back of his armored glove, sending him flying into a brick wall.
*cough* You really have to stop doing that! Darkhold got up and looked at his adversary, who was crouching on one knee. On of his fists was on the ground, keeping him stabile, while the other was grasping his chest. Right were the rupture was.
I guess I underestimated you
hero! Crom Cruaich gasped.
Ill be ready for you when I decide to face you again!
Face me again? You just said youd underestimated me! By facing me again, you would underestimate me again.
Crom Cruaich threw one more angry look at Darkhold. Then a dark void surrounded him, in which he vanished without a trace. Darkhold got up, dusted himself off and stretched out. Lets find another ledge and keep guard, he thought. One with less space
behind me.
