I can help you with Bad Luck and Exterminator - I have both of those badge missions ready to go on my Stalker, Grievous Angel. I need to start these missions with someone who can keep the mish open while I switch toons to get my lvl 50 who needs these badges to finish two accolades!

Unfortunately I don't have much time on-line this week - but I should be on tonight after 9pm and same time tomorrow though - but probably not again until the weekend. Anyway I'll keep the missions and look out for you and send you a /t if you're on. My global is @Dark Cobalt

Well the turn-out was really excellent - far more people than we expected which was great to see.

With so many to look at, the judging was hectic and not easy. The judges (two of my SG colleagues) picked the ones that appealed to them most, which of course is always going to be a matter of individual judgement :-)

Anyway gratz to the winners...the results were:

Siege Engine: 3rd Prize

Pyrechill: the bonus prize for being the most freaky!

[u]Villain costume competition - Sunday 8th October at 3pm GMT[u]

Well it's been a little while since the last costume competition on Defiant. So, as we are a particularly community-minded band of criminals here at the Seventh Cabal headquarters (not to mention shamelessly self-promoting ) we thought we would organise one.

When: Sunday 8th October
Time: 3pm UK (4pm CET)

Location: Mercy Island. Gather around Kalinda / Arbiter Diaz at the Fort Darwin Arachnos base.

How to enter: Just turn up!

The prize pot will be 4 million infamy:

1st prize: 2 million infamy
2nd prize: 1 million infamy
3rd prize: 500,000 infamy

plus an additional 4th bonus or consolation prize of 500,000 infamy for anything we think is particularly weird or funny - or for anything else that tickles the fancy of the judges.

Our Seventh Cabal judges will be considering the style, the originality/inventiveness, the concept and, of course, the evilness of your creations.

All toons from level 1 up are welcome. So if you have a costume that you think stands out from the crowd then come on down!

If you have an empty slot for a Rad/Rad Corruptor on your RSF team then ready to go with my Lvl 50.

I'll be away and off-line most of week beginning 10th Sep but available before and after that.

Have Warburg nuke (will try to get more this week) and set of shivans stocked and ready. (Edit: also have Leadership buffs including Vengeance)

Big thank you to Dark Zzorg and any others who organised and invited for the villain storming of Recluses Victory on Sunday afternoon 3rd. Nice one!

Great hero [censored]-whupping fun and excellent to see so many Villains in there at once - two full teams storming the pillboxes and beating on the Freedom Phalanx for several hours. I also enjoyed the solo suicidal blaster who was the only hero player I saw who dared come near us!

I bagged all the Phalanx hero badges and Blackguard inside two hours..very nice We should do this again.

If you need a Rad/Rad corr (Dark Cobalt) for an RV team then look me up. Always up for it
Lvl 49 with all the usual Rad goodies, plus vengeance buffs

I was having the same dilemma my Rad/Rad as well. To be honest, I wasn't that taken with any of the patron powersets. For a corruptor they are all pretty much of a muchness, not much to differentiate them, so the choice was down to which fitted my toon concept best - Ghost Widow in my case. I'm not that bothered about having a pet - I don't solo much anymore and 40+ teams already have a truck load of pets running around taking and causing aggro . Also felt that having to take 2 patron powers just to get a pet was a waste of a power pick - as a Rad didn't think my build really needed another attack or hold. So I've just ended up taking the damage resistance toggle - Dark Embrace - to improve survivability.

I'm taking more standard pool powers for my remaining 40+ picks - yeah a bit duller than those seductive shiny new Patron powers but far more useful!

No harm in trying out a few patron powers though - I hear next patch gives another free respec for completing the patron arc so you can always respec 'em out before 50...
