I can't Drink Beer, ale or any of that other stuff that falls under the general term of beer.
I drink Scotch Single Malt, Neat or at home Chilled [Throw it in the freezer for a bit], And Vodka Coolers, doubt anything the sell in Europe or the UK have the same flavours. I also partake in Fruity Drinks with Unibrellas without shame as I stopped caring what people thought of what I Drank back in high school.
Granted I sort of like 50 pence but it damn hard to find here and it only come in Draft, Which I guess would be how Beer is supose to be. That said I rather have tumbler of a good Scotch. -
Man you think I was trying to sell Mushy Peas or something.
Story time, why because I feel like Inflicting this one you!
I been following foot ball [Soccer] Since about 1998, I played it in PE in school of course but I didn't [and Largely Still don't know the rules]. So in a effort to bond with a Scotish Co-worker I desided to at least try and learn the game, well trying to find Scottish Coverage in North America for games is like Trying to find a good looking Camel. So I watch English, it has morning slots so it watchable. I knew though I hated David Beckium, that right I said it! At the Time He played for Manchester United. So I asked another buddy of mine who is a big Football fan Who Man U rivals hense I became a Liverpool fan [even though I hate the Beatles]. So since then I watched Liverpool and I tell you they do a lot better than My NA Sport teams! Oh for the Scottish League my favourite team is the Rangers, because My family on my father's side is from there. Can't by the Strips here though but you buy Those Catholic Sods Celtic all over the place. -
I am strangelly fond of Mushy peas and Haggis! You to live in Burlington Ontario they had a Great Fish place there that also have Haggis and Fries, and you could have on the side Mushy peas! You guy need s Timmy's! Starbuck is nothing compated to the Crack that is Timmy's Coffee.

So Football season starts in August and I fan of the Premier League of England. They have a Fantasy pool going on and I thought maybe some of my fellow CoX [especially since the European boards merged with us]. So thos interested can go to this web site. I welcome Our new European brothers and hope they will not hide in their Lounge all the time.
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/
The league will be head to head using point totals of our teams to determain winners. I am sure to get a walloping. I usually do.
The league Code is 356434-122185
The league is called:
- CoX-Players
-
8 to 21 with My Soldier of Archanos
21 to 35 [and 35 to 38 today] for my MM Merc
23 to 30 [30 to 34 today] for my Assult Corruptor -
No I don't have Steam, I never had interest in it as I like buy boxes too much!

Quote:I dunno if it'll help, but here's how I always do the drivers:
1) Download the correct drivers as needed for your video card (already done, I take it.)
2) Download Driver Sweeper from Guru3d: http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/
3) Install Driver Sweeper, DO NOT RUN yet.
4) De install any and *all* video drivers... ATI, NVidia, Intel, SiS... whatever you can find in the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.
5) Reboot to safe mode (F8 while rebooting, select just 'Safe Mode')
6) Run the Driver Sweeper and kill ALL video drivers (and just those. Not chipset, not audio... unless you wanna do those too... then go for it.)
7) reboot to normal mode, let the system figure itself out and get done with all gyrations.
8) THEN install the new NVidia drivers.
This works in most cases like this. Other than this, I don't know why you're not getting the right driver information.
All of that was followed twice. -
Quote:Far as I can tell yes I did!Just to make sure, you did use this link to download the drivers? I don't think a different OS version would install, but I'm not gonna swear to anything nVidia does with drivers.
-
Re-download Drivers from NVidia Site, When and Removed all my Graphical Drivers again and re-installed. resulting in this output. And I still have the same Driver information. I have no idea what else to do if the Drivers are fouled as they have to be fouled in the download

And well I am getting lots of tearing when I rotate. I have the Vertical Sync on in the game and I have tried switching between Controled by Game and by the Nvidia Control Panel with no difference. -

I know shipping returns are normally a [censored], but Newegg is really good about taking care of their customers in that regard. I've never paid shipping for defective products I've returned to them. Not once. They'll even give you a shipping label for you to print out.
A 9600GT or 9800GT is exactly what you need, honestly. Nothing more, nothing less.

I can't afford to up great bloody everything, what will run on a 350 power supply?

Okay, half the memory.
Looks like it does include a VGA connector on the card, and after looking at it on the BFG site I see that it also includes a low profile adapter, which would make it attractive to anyone running a computer with a slim case.
The only real con I see on the 250 GTS you linked is that it takes up two slots and the 9400 takes up one slot.
Well, one additional possible problem is that it requires a 450W PSU where the 9400 only requires 350W. Although, several major manufacturers computers have been known to ship with smaller PSU's than this. Even fairly recently.
Since I haven't seen any mention of what size PSU you have, it's pure conjecture on my part as to whether or not your PSU is beefy enough for either of these.

That is good to know, my power supply is 350 W so I guess I have to go with the 9400, so Tech Gurus will this be enough to run my monator at full power for COX? I know people said the 0800 could do it but will the 9400 do it?

Definitely a resounding "no" on that one. You need something with more kick.

Really will it not run things well? -

9400

So My question at least for Heroes Can I go max settings with a 9800?

You're doing it all wrong then.
I can dual box 2 wide screens (1600x1050 and 1600x1024) at 200% detail 4xFSAA 16xAFjust fine (frame rate between 20-30 even on Hami raids) with my 8800GT.
Single running Its 40-60 fps solid at 200% detail.
If you are railing single box with an 8800, you need a better processor or more RAM.

Price wise there doesn't seem to be a big difference so why not get the one with more memory? -
Well all I can do is try then!
