Red Side, it seems to be wherever you can find it. The university in Cap seems to get some, Golden Giza gets some, and around the arbiter in Grandville are the main spots I"ve found so far. Any Cape show will bring in a bunch of RPers also.
-
There are a bunch of options.
1) PuG RP does happen, but it can be sporadic. Better bet is if you start the team. Seems like people tend to be afraid to start teams at times.
2) Form your own SG and Advertise. Advertise here, Advertise in Mercy occasionally, even go into Pocket D and Advertise once in a while.
3) Go to some of the RP spots. Yes while most of the Cape DJs tend to do shows in Pocket D where the listeners around tend to RP, there are shows in St. Martial and other places in the Isles. Look for groups of people hanging around out in the open and start RPing with them.
4) Join some Virtue Globals. They are a great way to meet others, especially RPers on Virtue, depending on the Global.
Finally., Welcome to Virtue and have some fun! -
Honestly, the Sci-Fi channel had been moved away from being pure Sci-Fi a long time ago. The addition of fantasy, and even more so, so much horror/suspense stuff on it had made it a different channel.
Yeah, its demise, like Tech TV is sad, but honestly, a good show will still be a good show. -

There should be fixed rewards for completing missions. Nothing for what happens inside. That's all. Suddenly MA is for testing builds and writing stories, just as it was intended.

I have to agree on this.
Honestly, I didn't see RMT show up until IOs came about. Now more people who just speed through without learning how to do things cause of AE leveling to 50.
I hated the hollows at lower levels, then I realized, it was a way to learn how not to aggro groups while moving around and I made a game out of that.
The more idiot proof we make things, the more likely only an idiot will use them. -

It almost sounds to me that he is using the whole paper and book idea as a way to justify to himself why he was acting the way he was.
Lack of scientific method does create problems for his review, and the response to people asking simple questions about how and why he went about doing it, and those questions being dismissed, show a lack of respect for others.
A peer review of the paper would raise too many questions for him to be able to handle, and could affect his standing in the real world communities he is part of.
Sounds to me like he is alienating himself in many fashions. -

He does make a statement on how he is not making any money off of this "experiment" of his so he did not break the EULA, yet when a book becomes published, if you have to pay for it, then he is strictly breaking the EULA.
I wonder what will happen with that. Should eb an interesting thing to watch. -
See, that is the problem with trying to do a socialogical experiment. You either have to do it as a thought experiment, or as a secret experiment.
Now while I disagree with the length he did this for, from reading the word document paper he wrote on the experience, there is some things to be learned. I disagree with his premise and his conclusions about a number of things based on the results, but for other thoughts such as hive minds, not being an independent thinker, and mostly jumping to conclusions and not trying to get all the facts by talking to someone, it does show flaws in our society that are also around in the real world, and do affect us on a daily basis.
There is stuff to be learned, you just have to push aside the whole griefing thing and read his writing objectively to see it. At least IMHO. -

I guess I should mention that I'm a kind of "stupid user" when it comes to knowing what I should stay away from or not. Also, my mother shares the PC with me. So I might be needing more than just a freeware level of protection -- is that true?
Also, I just got recommended Norton 360 -- apparently the footprint is much smaller and the security is more comprehensive?
[/ QUOTE ]
I've heard about that with 360, but I'm not ready to recommend it yet. Kaspersky right now is one of the highest rated ones, and a 1 year sub with the product you get for around $60 ish. the footprint is small, it is updated daily and it doesn't take a lot of processor power either. -
*sneaks up and gooses Fey*
Good morning Sunshine!!!!

I agree with running more than 1 AV is bad. For a stand alone scanner Malwarebytes is really good.
I recently made the switch to the Kaspersky Internet Suite (Firewall/AV/Intrusion Countermeasures) and found it runs great with a very small footprint. -
