What nightmarer said is basically what I assumed for GW. Its what we do on a mixed team and it works
though I did also wonder if enough ToFs could fear her -
Can have a think about it, my main problem is I cant think of a way of making DM effective for a brute (and its not lack of knowledge on DM just more my brute play style)
I'd be wanting to throw tough in their, and boxing to help build fury and survivability. I know I couldn't build the DA side like mine because you're probably want more damage mitigation to cover the lack of AoE damage (my mitigation is 4 hits killing a herd)
I can see that you could build a long standing character that can last a fair while but am having trouble seeing a good fury builder without breaking the end needed. Dark Consumption just doesn't come back fast enough to cope with Dark Regen. I tried one build but the DPE on it is poor, sure the DPS is good but it would mean resting after each group to rebuild fury.
Another build I tried had good end control and survivability but would seem to take forver to build fury to keep that.
I did look at Dark/Dark for myself as a brute and I couldn't make a build I felt comfortable with. DM leads too much for Stalkers and Scrappers in my mind.
Will have another go at a build later in the week, maybe when I've shaken this flu I can think clearer and get some kind of happy medium of a build -
I wouldn't mind joining if its Defiant or Test and Day/time suits.
Only got the 1 scrapper at 50 and is an old SO/HO build I'm afraid, but still functions alright. -
Grats on the two new 50s

Having 6 slotted on my defender I can confirm its a lot of expense trying to get all the small benefits. I dont have many characters without CJ though, and the defender is the only one that gained it for IO slotting. Its one of my favourite movement powers in the game simply for control. It stops the drift of fly for a start
-
Am assuming the damage and recharge are still good on the attacks (cant do the maths for IO sets in my head or be bothered to load Mids tonight, might look tomorrow)
It looks to still have an attack chain, which is the one thing I'd worry about sacrificing for the defence. Everything else is expendible but the ability to scrap is needed. Nice build -
I'd probably go CJ just cause its anti imob is so damned helpful to be thrown in. My blaster has it (not for defence) and I find it useful by itself. Taking hover I'd want to slot for both defence and fly speed so a conflict of interest.
CJ and Manoeuvres combined might work out to a minimal defence level and give nice places for IOs -
Grats on the second level 50. Always good to get your first character to 50, I mean the first you created. My first created character was my 3rd 50 and yet felt the most special
Am loving playing LotRO at the moment myself and I hated WoW. I guess I just like how shiney the graphics are on LotRO its very visually imersing -
Another one? Grats on another 50

No worries mate, I understand about real life getting in the way

My PBAoEs on my blaster are just as close to the foes as my brutes, what's this range of which you speak? Some cowards way out?

No Ice/Fire or Arch/Dev though. The only two I've ever found to be fun
-
One of each. I like having either an empath or a kin when playing my Rad. Both help muchly.
Play the one you like the most, get someone else to play the other -
I'd think you'd need about 50 people there but that's just a guess
