I really like the look of the MM mercs gun. I much prefer it to the blasters gun (I'm assuming the corrupters one is the same), in fact when I first got this game one of the first characters I made was an AR blaster who I deleted before I even made it out of outbreak because I dislike the look of that gun that much. -
The main boost I think is that defence will how be as good againts lieutanants and bosses as it is againts minions. The reasoning being that resistance powers don't suddenly give less percentage protection againts those and this is to match that.

I'll take war dancer (44 scrapper) along on that as well, what is a bit more exemping?

I'd be intrested in exemping down for this with War Dancer a MA/SR scrapper. If exemping for it is ok.

When I first heard of masterminds, thugs were the minions I thought off. I'm kinda hoping for the basic thug type attacking with baseball bats but it does seem unlikely.

Would it matter if they weren't that different? Even if some sets were very similer I think it would be nice to have them purely for the visual differance. -

Not really, I prefer to avoid roleplayers after what they were like on the server in the last game I played. All I know is that there was a guy forming a rp sg a week ago around on this forums, here is the link

Ahh excellent, another rper contained on union!
But really you might want to look for one of the rp SG on this server and play on both if you don't want to stop playing the character you have. -
Any of the primarys should work fine with SR, go for the one that suits your concept or that you feel like trying.

I would say get Practice Brawler as soon as you can then double slot it with recharges and set it as your autofire power. It is a SR's best friend.

I love practiced brawler, got it a few levels ago but I can't remember too often when it would have been really usefull at lower levels. Well .... apart from againts frostfire and the circle of thorns .... so yep your right -

Switched Crippling Axe Kick for Dragons tail. It's AoE, great for fighting more than one enemy with knockdown and I hate crippling axe kick although I hear it's better than it used to be.

I've got a respec so I'm going to wait to use it and try out crippling axe kick to see how I like it. I've heard(well read on the boards) that is now does the same damage as crane kick and has the same animation time/pause for using it and I love crane kick but I'll try it out and see.
I was going to skip on dragons tail because only having the one area effect attack made it seem that even if it was good that it wouldn't by itself be that good for fighting groups. Am I badly off on that ?
