Okay, so forgive me if someone else has done this, but I think a side by side comparison of Elude and MoG might be useful.

Elude is +45% def to melee, ranged, AoE, + recovery, and a nice run speed and jump buss. Note that since the I7 def changes, elude by itself will florr an enemy's chance to hit unless your defense has been debuffed. Combined with the toggle powers, it will likely floor everything's chance to hit even if you have been debuffed, with the exceptions of rularuu (who I swear have a smoke-grenade-like bug with their ToHit buff) and DE when there's a quartz crystal out.

MoG gives, about a ~70% def buff to all but toxic and psi, and 75% resistance to all, sets your health to 25% of its max, and prevents healing. Also, you get a recovery boost and lots of mez protection.

MoG gets no bonus points over Elude for having status protection; it's no problem to keep PB up and running at all times, and it's almost certainly a power that every SR has already taken long ago. The resistance/HP effects basically cancel, amounting to a -300% debuff to toxic and psi damage. The additional defense over what Elude gets is almost always pointless.

Therefore, my conclusion is that MoG is basically like Elude, except without the run/jump boosts, with huge vulnerablities to toxic and psi damage, and side effects that basically negate the rest of the secondary.

So, while I'll refrain from saying MoG isn't a useful power, it's clearly not in the same league as Elude.

I could probably do a similiar analysis with Unstoppable, but I won't, because I'm feeling lazy.

There's also no resist to psi, I believe.

Because my scrapper was one shotted by a Fortunata Mistress in Warburg while testing.
  2. There are THREE Miss Liberty(s).

    One is State's wife, Monica.

I suspect their daughter, Ms. Liberty, is Jessica.

Ms. Liberty's daughter, Miss Liberty, the Vindicator, is most likely Megan.

It looks like the devs finally figured out how to count to one.

Single target attacks now hit only one target no matter how many you have stacked.

There might be a bug though. A couple times when I had a few stacked up, it would say "Readying attack", but then nothing. No hit, no miss, no nothing. Cone/AoE attacks worked fine there, but single target wouldn't do anything. I'll have to play with it some more and see what's going on.

I think I may cry. I'll have QA test it.

    lol.

Next patch: Single target Tankers attacks will work but taunt the tanker forcing him to hit himself repeatedly.

    Stop hitting yourself!
  4. Did you know....

that Outcast Freezer lieutenants and bosses never spawned until i2?
You had fire, wind, and earth, but no ice set Outcast would spawn-outside of a rare appearance in a story arc.

The Rularuu first appeared when the Circle of Thorns got a big ol' mallet and brought them here.

... isn't that like Superboy-Prime punching the walls of reality?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually, a lot of evidence points to Crey and/or Nemesis being responsible for the Rularuu invasion. The only events directly attributed to the Malleus Mundi are the Halloween invasion of 2004, and the opening of Croatoa in Salamanca.

    (SPOILERS)

In a late game arc, Dr. Quarterfield from Firebase Zulu sends you to investigate several Crey facilities operating within the Shadow Shard. You learn that Crey, using technology first created by Nemesis, has been able to travel to other dimensions (or, at least, just the Shadow Shard) undetected by Portal Corp. We know, already, that Nemesis has been able to contact other dimensions before, including Rikti Earth (being partially responsible for the invasion, himself). So, with that in mind, it's possible that either Nemesis or Crey had left the barrier between Earth and the Shadow Shard weak enough for the Rularuu to invade.

    [/ QUOTE ]

But I don't see why, though. AFAIK, portal tech, even illegal portal tech, does not have any official in-canon issues that would somehow weaken dimensional barriers.

    [/ QUOTE ]

During the course of Dr. Quarterfield's task force, you learn that the Rularuu have always known how to traverse dimensions, lacking only the components. At the end of the task force (third to last mission, I think), you stop the Rularuu from completing two portals they were putting together from salvaged Crey technology. However, another team of Rularuu complete a portal and invade Paragon City (in a much smaller force than the event, obviously).

So, before this task force is in the game, the Rularuu invade. Even before that task force, they have the knowledge needed to travel to our dimension. Whether they did so with technology stolen from Nemesis or Crey, or did so because of the Malleus Mundi (not so much being summoned, but using the hammering of the dimensional barrier to their advantage), we can only assume. I'm just assuming it's something I've personally seen over something I haven't.

    I'll hammer your dimensional barrier.

....I'm so sorry! I've been possesed by Bob again!

  7. skimmed the page, didn't see anyone say stuff about juicer sniper, so here we go:
Juicer Sniper is tied to the Watcher on the Knoll badge.
  8. i5 tips.

I did 3 raids total, first 2 failed...#1 because we thought we could kill the titan quick enough to avoid the crystals (wrong) because our tanker had to leave. #2 never got past mold wall-healer kept getting killed on the way back from hospital (and she was the one with tp friend- i respecced for tp friend just because of that.)

    Notes:
Walls can be end drained and will not spawn anything that way.
If you can't slow/end drain walls, the best method is to get your tanker (or 2) to taunt as they pop and have a defender buffing/healing him as he punchvokes and taunts.
If the NPC heroes die you will NOT fail the mish.
Anyone over 41 won't get the enhancement, I believe.
Lichens don't spawn unless someone aggros them. No ambushes.
Any defender is useful. Storm has the debuffs and knockdown, dark has -acc (very useful for quarries/walls), Kin is insane if you have a tanker with foot stomp! and rad makes the scrappers do the happy dance (smashing damage does extra on crystals, and with -res... Empathy isn't really the best for, I'd go with a kin or rad anytime. Mutation is great against the titan, since integration nulls the stun thing.
That prismatic blast thing, the range is weird. Is it a cone? or a 180 degree thing? because a flyer got one shotted by it, and it was aimed at the tank.
Also, there are TWO quarries in the rock wall room now. One on a special, showy platform, and one to the left of the wall itself. Easy.
