Hmm, I was starting to think it was just me.

I'm fairly new to city of heroes, but I've played several other MMOG and although the community is (in general) much more welcoming than any other game I've played I've *never* had so many blind invites. Even in WoW, famous for it's [censored] collection you were almost certain to be contacted first. Blind invite spamming ususally got you labelled as a 12 year old and ignored.

I noticed this as well, always having a thing for Crowd control in certain other unmentionable online games I ended up playing controller/Dominator in CoX. In Mercy they're all over the place, but once I hit 20+ I saw another Dom about once every 4-5 teams. Nothing but masterminds as far as the eye can see......

Oh and on the subject of melee attacks... Pah. Bonesmasher is an important part of my soft control options. All that damage is just an unfortunate side effect.
