Hi Bruce,

I have been a player since roughly issue 4, and I've seen the content get more and more expansive. Not that this is a bad thing for people who are working on their 4th 50 and want replay value. My question: For someone new to the game what would you say are the stories/arcs that are "Not to be missed". Thanks for all your hard work.

Amount of PvP: Next to none

Amount of Powerleveling: I don't believe in powerleveling, I believe in power playing. We do bring SKs along on higher level mishes but we don't go out of our way to exploit anything.

Amount of Drama: Not much really, we are all good friends so there are alot of jokes and good humor.

Size of Base: This chaned alot from our previous posting in this thread, we have expanded our base a good bit. The actual size still escapes me! Amenities include: Teleporters to all zones, med bay, well stocked inspiration storage (we have a stockpile of christmas presents), vault, crafting table, enhancement tables, tech/arcane work benches, both arcane and tech empowerment stations (including the super collider which gives long duration teir 3 buffs). We have been having SG meetings after our weekly sunday event in our new meeting room. If you would like a tour please contact global @Crmsn Conundrum

Requirements: SG mode is prefered, influence will be provided if you choose to run in SG mode at all times. No usage of the empowerment stations without approval from one of our ranked members (Knight or above) we normally reserve empowerment for TFs and special missions.

Other: We have a weekly even on sundays called SoS or Super on Sunday. We normally run all kinds of missions and TFs at this time. We are pretty altaholic and are alt friendly but be prepared to be relagated to the alt SG (coalitioned so you can use the TPs)

We are a very friendly group of folks, we look for good players and will usually only extend personal invites so don't expect to find us broadcasting in Atlas recruiting. Our villian group is very small but trying to grow. We try not to kick people from the SG but with the exception of military personal who are overseas three months of inactivity will get you booted unless you make arrangements.

Exactly. I am really pissed about this, there needs to be some form of compensation for those who did buy both games. Like maybe a free month or2 or something because this is totally unfair to those who spent their hard earned money on both games.

The whole "Thank You" isn't going to happen until Issue 11 goes live, or even after that. So if you REALLY feel like complaining try not using CoV (or CoH depending on which one you just brought) and not using your bases until at least issue 11 is up and running. After you have done that, then maybe your complaints will have a little more weight, because, like everyone else mentioned. The reason most of us went and brought the game right away is because we wanted access to the new content RIGHT AWAY. The place I used to work I had to deal with everyone wanting somthing for nothing and unfortunetly because of corporate outlook they caved too often. I personally don't want to have to watch people all over these threads whining about spending a little money. If someone told you that world was going to end tomorrow would you walk back into McDonalds and say, "I want my money back for that double cheeseburger, the world is going to end tomorrow and I really wouldnt have brought it." So ill just sit right here ::loads flamethrower:: and wait for more people to complain.

Im in the early stages of a ice/energy tank and while some of what your talking about doesn't apply to me for the most part I agree with Star (and not just because I run the SG he is in). I have played with him and his ice/fire tank and he is very well rounded. Star in general is a team oriented player which is why I think he plays the way he does and builds the way he does. I don't know if this is his first attempt at a guide, but I think he did a great job. Differences of opinion are to be expected, and I am glad to see that everyone here has been able to discuss things very reasonably without resorting to name calling. My first love is and always will be tanks, my main is still a lvl 50 invul/SS tank. So defense in all its glory is not my favorite tanking style. I prefer to take less damage and last longer. Good to finally see you posting Star (not that you wern't but this is the first i've seen of you)
Lords of Retribution RULE!

Since I don't know how to go back and edit this last post i'll just do an add on.

Our weekly SG "EVENT" called Super on Sunday (god I hate typos) runs from 12 noon to 6 pm and can go longer or start earlier depending on demand.

We have a new motto/catch phrase that was nominated and seconded into regular use which I just have to post:

I actually added it to my Sig line .. but it bares repeating.

And wanted to again thank those that started this thread and maintain it. We got our first new recruit due to this thread last night and The Lords of Retribution welcomes Ruinous Omen to our ranks. I encourage other SGs to post its a good way to get your name out. Keep the new recruits coming!

We are always looking to improve things and give more space for recreation and RPing but for now the base is all about function even thought it does have some decoration.
