If there's not enough contributors, can my original submission be used? It's drastically more entertainin' then the editted for time version.

Swell. Now everyone can get DP'd.
You heard me. -
Quote:Oh man, that takes me back. Maybe I'll do a Lusca run for ol' times sakes.Sorry, but you do belong on the list.
Playin a lot just makes it better.
I know I have been glad I have been able to team with you quite a few times with my alts in Witty's Pirate SG.
The first time I remember teaming with you was on a Lusca run ages ago.
always fun!
.
Thanks for makin' me smile with fond memories. -

You don't, but they said they'll offer a upgrade pack that will include all the stuff with the complete edition (which isn't available for pre-order) at a yet undisclosed price.

Quote:They are generally friendly, but even their tolerance for stupidity and laziness has it's limits. As for your opinion o' myself, I won't lose any sleep over it.
You sir are not a reason I would want to come to your server, which is odd because I remember you used to be friendly, lately at times quite frankly you act like a real tool to your fellow players, not always, but in the past you were not like that as I recall.
I remember you and the people supporting your view who are in your bmt channel, being generally inviting and friendly, at times that's been replaced with snarky and overbearing corrections to players.
Quote:And yet you all tell every new visitor to join your channel, lol.
Maybe you should stop recommending your channel to newcomers, in the event they ask about a set bonus, or some other random act of game fun.
Quote:If you can't have friendly game chatter sometimes on supposedly your main channel, I guarantee you'll get better treatment on Virtue and Freedom's main global channels from my experience.
Quote:Your servers population's been shrinking, so maybe others already figured that out. -

Quote:Craziness.
As far as BMT goes, although I don't think I got a copy of the Official Rules, it was pretty obvious after a day of lurking that BMT is for just that B-M-T. That's how I use it and that seems fine.
Quote:Still, it is good to BS with all the other friendly, helpful people on Champion and if BMT of Champion isn't the place for it, there needs to be a place. I suppose Champions United is the designated area? -

Quote:Just don't spam it, like with anythin' else. And keep the **** talk out.
Are we not allowed to advertise PvP in BMT?
Quote:Can you give us a list or something of what is and is not allowed? All I know is that farming and talking about sports is not allowed (that's one that I got in "trouble" for)
Welcome to BMT, or Badges, Monsters, Task/Strike Forces. General game-related chatter and teamin' are allowed. XP/SK/Inf/merit/ticket farm advertisements are not, nor are farm-related questions. Oh, and please watch the language. Enjoy. -
Quote:Like Amy, I've been logged on for hours with BMT on it's own tab and never had a problem. I've even got all the game events on the same tab, with the same result: scroll up, RTFMotD.
Actually, I've had this problem before after being on a few hours and BMT's been particularly active - the MOTD will disappear even with keeping a tab for just BMT alone. Granted, I could just relog and look at the MOTD if I had a question about it, but asking usually would be faster so I can understand why occasionally it's fine if people ask about what's going on. I'm not saying that it's understandable all the time, of course, I'm simply saying that asking someone to read the MOTD instead of answering their question might prove pointless in some instances.
Quote:I can agree with that to a degree; something like that'd clutter up BMT, but... I'm not part of the trading channel by choice - I knew about it, of course..but I'm not fond of being part of channels that see little to no activity so I don't bother with keeping it. And luckily for me I don't usually advertise sales anyway (and haven't nor intend to in BMT). But I do want to make a point here; it's not always a case of laziness. Some people may actually not even know such a channel even exists. More still might not know that it isn't allowed in BMT. Unless you ask, there's no way of knowing all the rules for BMT upon joining, and most might not think to ask for a variety of reasons.
Quote:I'm not trying to add to the drama by pointing out this; just trying to show things in a different way. How the channel is moderated isn't perfect and players will always make that point clear, but I still find it the best channel to be in when looking for groups on the server so it works for me. -
-
Quote:Perhaps because I've let conversation along those previous lines happen recently. Say, I don't know, when Skittle and Canucker were both advertisin' PvP last week and I didn't mod the conversation, just to name an occasion.
Since you weren't there, you can't be sure of that, can you? I've seen you mod a conversation before it even got started plenty of times. So much for that idea.
Quote:Again, you only know about what goes on while you're online. I would imagine that if conversations got out of hand without your presense, a different mod would speak up. Have you ever tried to see if a different mod would say something before you would? Maybe go on hide for a while and see what the channel is like if people thought you weren't there? Maybe you'd see things differently, though since it's you, probably not.
Quote:You moderate questions about the market, or people offering stuff for trade. That's game related, and yes, I know there is a channel specifically for that, but it's pretty obvious it doesn't get used much or you wouldn't see that stuff in BMT. Do you want another example, cause I could probably come up with more.
Quote:Why would I leave the most populated Champion channel because of a difference of opinion with one person? Do you think you're that important to the server?
And no, I don't think I'm that important. I didn't ask to be moderated. I didn't ask to get remoderated when I demoted myself. But clearly someone trusts me to enforce the rules. -
Quote:Your opinion. Got it. Thanks.I'll say this much, because you have "RTF MoTD" in that motd CA, u should see how peeps answer each other in that channel when someone asks a question.
And, there are times when stuff purges if ur on long enough and you can't read the damned thing anymore.
End O'story or not, CA, it seems pretty inappropriate and has opened the door to plenty of people telling others asking a simple question to RTFMOTD and that is rude. Period. End of story, as u say.
U know I've always said you are at least, for the most part, even keeled with the way u run the channel but some things are just not needed. RTF is one of them IMO.
Edit: Ironically, the majority o' people that are bein' told to RTFMotD are people who honestly know better, know the times o' various raids that have been happenin' for days, weeks, and months for some time now and shouldn't have to be told to do it. -
Quote:Rude to tell people to read the MotD that maybe, just maybe, has information that pertains to their question? And maybe, just maybe, if they read it then they wouldn't have had to ask their question in the first place? And maybe, just maybe, if they're made aware that it's there and there's appropriate information in it then they'll refer to it in the future?I need to ask this question, is the "GTFO" at the end of your comment really necessary?
I'm not trying to pick fights but **** like GTFO and RTF MoTD seem pretty inappropriate and unnecessary and I've been wondering what is up every one's *** lately? Just curious, feel free to flame away but srsly, it's pretty rude to treat peeps that way.
I don't think that I got myself knee-deep in a ******** contest with Vori and friends to save the channel a year or so ago for everyone to dog peeps and treat them like ****, I'm really starting to wonder why the hell I went through all of that to save the channel in the first friggin place.
I dunno. Seems a bit o' a stretch to me, Meowtch.
It's not like I personally don't appreciate what you did to help maintain the integrity o' the channel with the aforementioned shenanigans, but this stuff happens. This isn't a 'lately' thing. It's basically been happenin' since I started to enforce the rules more stringently. But I'd rather this happen than hear 'bout people turnin' off the channel due to rampant spam that only pertains to two people chatterin' on in regards to their personal lives, or this or that person's movie review, or what music people like to listen to currently on their playlists. And yes, these are all things that happened durin' the week prior to me steppin' up moderation. If the channel gets turned off, then people aren't usin' it for what it's intended. It's design and implimentation was about Badges, Monsters, and Task Forces. If people can't abide by that, then they really can GTFO and find another place to chit-chat.
If it takes someone to be the ******* to keep the channel functionin' compared to how it was before, then so be it. Only one thing would make me change how I go about things, and so far, nothin' in this thread or in-game has been it.
End o' story.
