Killed almost all processes with no results.

However, I DID try the -renderthread 0 arguement, and finally got it to launch!

Was very excited to see safemode pull up, backed out, and then tried regular. Success!

Just gotta reboot in a bit to see if any processes are causing an issue with the -renderthread 0 arguement in place.

Thanks again for the help!

No dice on that one, still can't get it to complete launching even in Safe Mode with StarDock items disabled.

Any other suggestions?

Hello:

I decided to re-up my COH account today. I have not played since December, but it ran fine at that time. I logged on, saw the info on the new launcher, downloaded and installed it. After patching/verifying, I am unable to actually load the game. The NCSoft Launcher fires up, lets me click the button for launch COH, and then it brings up the blue "Loading..." bar (the same one you see before it exits the desktop). It does not generate any errors and does not stop responding (task manager states it is still running). However, it never does advance past the loading bar. I have also tried running in Safe Mode with the same results - does not advance past the loading bar.

The only things I know of that I've changed since then that might impact this is that I've installed a new virus scanner, and of course the new NCSoft Launcher today.

There is a bug while using capes in conjunction with the following on male characters:

Male->Upper Body->Chest->Tight->Armored Pads

Does not show the cape mantle. It displays the rest of the cape, just not the mantle. It dissapears when this top is selected.

Can anyone help point me to exactly which sound is being used for the Assault Rifle/Slug power?
