I believe it is past the point of being enjoyable for everyone as a community. I stated PUBLICLY I was sorry for popping off (in a nice matter at that) something that offended me. I felt I was being told to stay out of a thread and go somewhere else as did several of my firends.

I feel I have the right to state my feelings as well as everyone else on these forums. It goes back to Who's opinion am I allowd to state? Mine or the opinion of the majority.

This really doesn't matter though.

I have also stated that I am willing to play along and be more mindful and respectful to others I ask for the same treatment ingame and out!

I really do care alot about the feelings of the others (inwhich I have communicated in pm with several). I was not trying to start a war over this! I honestly hope that this Protector family can heal over this!

I will try to be courteous towards others in this matter (which I am already). If someone states that they do not want the threadjacking in a thread I will do my part. I do think that if someone request it it should be in a COURTEOUS manner!

I think that the OP should be the one to suggest that. I think that when someone has a problem of threadjacking in the thread they should contact the OP and allow the OP to report, or make note that it is unacceaptable in thier thread.

Again I say I will try to make myself aware of my post and how they will affect others. I hope others will do the same in the respect.

I do not see a problem with this at all. I think it should be the OP's decision if something should stop though. I mean If someone who did not start the thread has a problem with it, they should talk to the OP and the OP should be the one to request it with in the thread.

I think if a couple of people who get upset over something that the OP has no problem with then the thread jack should be left alone.

I am bringing up the FACTS thread again.

This thread was a fiction thread that was used to bring amusement. When someone makes something up, that is funny towards another, then how can someone not respond to that?
This is how the threadjacking began in the first place.

Say for instance someone said....

Fact: Cierra is a midget

I will say...

No I am not.

Then they will say...

Yes you are.

It goes on and on and on.

This happens alot in all the threads, because most of the OP's who start the threads do not care if the thread gets humoruos.
I think it shows how much Fun protector can be.

I find it a shame that We as protector are going to be made fun of yet again.

I hate this statement, because it is degrading towards us as a community.
We are a fun server.
We are a huge family.
We get along most of the time.
We argue sometimes.
We need to learn to mend as most families do.

I do not find it unreasonable to do what a OP asks us as a family to do within the thread they begin.
I do not think it is fair for someone who did not start the thread to go in and start waving fist and demanding action OR else! (not saying anyone has done this) (please do not take offense)

I agree with you on this last statement. That threads the longer they last the more they will stray off topic.

I do not agree with some of the Toughen up statements you are making. Meh this is my opinion, you are intitled to yours.

The Gods know you have made it clear over and over and over again.

I do not think it is a matter of toughening up to solve this. I do like the boards the way they are. I like to go and see the humorous comments posted. I try and I say TRY to be nice to everyone. I see some blantant remarks made towards people in some of the threads. Most of time I shrug it off.


I think all of this will blow over as most of the DRAMA does...

I have never once had a real problem with anyone ingame or on the forums. Well, till recently when I decided to go and piss numerous people off. Yay me ::sigh::

Anywho, I do not think it is people getting mad at everyone getting frustrated over the Threadjacking. When I decided to say something about it is was the fact the way it was said. I do understand that it can become annoying for some to post a subject that is in fact important to them and that being one of there introductions to the forums and then have there thread that was a valid question to them get broke to pieces with jokes and funny comments. I know I have been guilty of this as well as almost everyone on the boards.

Solution? I have nothing...

I truelly try to stay out of all the cross fighting and avoid the being pulled into the mix of arguments. But I am Human and yes I can speak my mind. I believe I have the right to post my opinion along with everyone else on these boards. I think the problem lies within who's opinion am I allowd to post? Mine or the majorities' opinion? I see that when some of us post an opinion it gets ripped apart and they get jumped on by several people. But who am I to post my opinion? I feel that noone deserves to be attacked by another and that is my personal feelings and I stand by it!

I was a Lurker for a long time. I decided to jump in. I did Yay me again ::sigh::

I see alot of people getting attacked for jumping in. I find it very frustrating. I try to be positive and not negative. I do kid alot with some friends and I sound mean but I am not actually a mean person. But when a new person comes to post on the boards and they are greeted with attacks I get frustrated.

What might not be a major problem to me may be a major problem to another and vice versa.

Yet again solutions? I have nothing...
