  1. Dangerous? In what way I wounder. Noting her evasion of his second question, he decided to shelve that discussion for latter.
"Since my prior stay was not interesting, I expect it will be so this time." Kruth"t shrugged. "The only thing I am looking forward to is a remedy for this infestation."
"What of you, Do you like it here?"
  2. Kruth’T thought her reaction was... unusual to say the least.
Then he remembered something War Pipper had said to someone else. That must be it.
He then removed his left arm from the robe, and turned to the left. Giving her a good look at the yellowish patch (about a hand-span across) on his left shoulder blade. After a few moments, Kruth’T returned his arm to it’s sleeve. And then turned back towards Alissa.
“So why are you here, and what place are you from Alissa?”
  3. He studied Alissa for a moment. That’s an odd request, maybe the translator isn’t working right again. And promptly asked it to replay what Alissa has said.
Assuming the device was working properly. It seemed rude, to Kruth'T at least not to face the being he was talking to. He knew humans did it all the time, but that form of communication seemed... wrong some how. Besides there are others present, and I doubt that they would want to see my infestation. Just thinking about it makes my tail twitch. However, she is the only one who has greeted me. the others seem to be in their own circles of conversation.
Kruth'T wrestled with it for a moment.
"I am reluctant to show you because it's on my back, and not pleasant to look at."

Note: Yes he’s using a translator, and no it’s not visible.

"You, hey, you, lizard boy. Cmere. I wanna talk to ya."

    [/ QUOTE ]

Kruth’T, since he saw no one else with scales, turned to face human in black.

    [ QUOTE ]

She shifted in her seat, crossing one leg over the other, claw-like nails still slightly dug into the arms of the chair. Her eyes flashed through her messy hair, and a fangy smirk crossed her face.
"Where are ya from? Why are ya here? I haven't seen ya around before, ya must be new. How ya likin it so far?"

    [/ QUOTE ]

Cautiously he moved towards her, and noted the way her fingers dug into the arms of her seating object. Okay, treat her, at least I think it’s a her, like one of your senior siblings... With a little distance and some respect. Kruth’T moved just short of arms length, and lowed him self to about eye level.

“I am from someplace far away, both in distance and dimensionally. I am being observed by one of your healers due to an infestation I gained recently. I am hopeful a remedy can be found. I was here half one of your orbits ago, but I was not allowed to leave the room that I was placed in for some time.” What was that fraise that War Pipper used? Oh yea that’s it “And let me tell you it was no picnic.”

Kruth’T watched her for a moment. “My name is Kruth’T, and you are?”
  5. A reptilian being sat nervously on a stool, while Doctor Jamie Smith studied his back. Since he wasn’t human the doctor could only guess. After all Kruth’T was sitting perfectly still, with the exception of his tail, witch writhed like a worm on a hook. “When did you first notice this discoloration?” Doctor Smith asked while studying a patch of yellowish scales, they appeared to be fragile, and slightly puffy. A stark contrast to his orange-brown scales, that was normally more pebbly in appearance.
“Actually, I didn’t notice the problem until two days ago.” Kruth’T responded in a mellow sounding voice, that emanated from somewhere around his throat. “I was at a friend’s residence, repairing my uniform. He asked me about the oddity on my back. Soon after I used a portable healing scanner to identify the problem. It informed me that it was an infestation, native to this world/universe.” Of course this would have to happen on a remote reality-world. “The device recommended that I seek a native Healer for assistance.” And thank the Mighty Hatcher, that those things are required on all escape capsules.
“Okay, then I’m going to need to take blood and tissue samples.” The Doctor worked quickly. “I’m also going to ask that you remain here, for observation. I’m worried about how close the infection is to your spine sheaths.”
    Kruth’T nodded his agreement.

A half hour latter Kruth’T had been shown his room (although Kruth’T recognized it as the room they used to quarantine him after he had arrived), and the escorted to a room containing a table with food items, some seating objects, and a collection of humans. Don’t smile at the mammals, you never know how they’ll react. Looking at the banner Kruth’T wondered what it said, but guessed it was some kind of greeting. Either that, or it was an offer of free food.
Remembering the small human who had ben dragged out of the room, he decided not to chance anything but an orange, or maybe a banana.....

(OOC) Kruth’T is not human, and only ‘woke up’ a half a year ago. He resembles a bipedal reptile, with orange-brown scales. He stands about 5'10", and has a lean lizardly look. He is also wearing a white robe, mostly to blend in.
Doctor Jamie Smith is free for any one to use, and specializes in Xeno-biology, and Pathology. The doctor has a slender build, stands about 5' 6" (Kruth’T still has a hard time telling the difference between men, and women), and has short brown hair.
  6. I'd be interested.
I've been thinking of joining an RP for a while, but since I only lurk when I'm at work.... It'd be difficult to keep up with a fast paced thread.
  7. Ya know, he just might.

    I want a BRB!

  8. If we could get it, it would be so much fun!
another +1 for the big red ball!

    FAQ: R U H34lar?

Finally other powers, such as fallout, fallout, or fallout leverage a dead teammate as a weapon, and can be far more effective than allowing that teammate to live. In fact, most teammembers will see that they are worth more dead than alive, and request that you stop healing them; alleviating your burden and increasing the team's defender and controller survivability overall.

Actually I was thinking of doing this with my Grav/Rad 'Troller. esp when I'm waiting for Mutation to recharge.
