Bubbles are all well and good but anyone with an empath of your quality nearby is near immortal X
(Please note from here on all information is from my own observations and experience, pvp and the game are an ever changing thing how a power works one day may not be how it works the next, any references to powers are not to be taken as absolute fact but simply as opinion.)
As for the higher level bubbles.
Force Bubble is one of the most equally loved and hated "ultimate" power in the game, tankers and scrappers hate it, but set it off at just the right time and you can save a team, the draw back is it will keep foes out of range of some of your more powerful attacks.
Offender Opinion : Take it, love it, laugh at all the stalkers outside it.
Defender Opinion : Take it if you have space, great emergency power not to be used all the time, blasters can blast from it, controllers controller from it, SR can hide in it once eludes done down, its all things to all people, including very annoying.
Pointless Facts:
1. sup/group invised Illusion controllers who try to enter the bubble will briefly become visible even without additional perception (as of issue 5 not tested since)
2. This power DOES suppress travel if there are any foes in its range.
3. This power could at one point be slotted with accuracy debuffs due to the fact that various ATs could enter the bubble under certain circumstances, I found no noticeable effect on accuracy whilst slotting this way, and Im not certain that such a slotting option remains.
Force Bomb, recently changed so I cant offer much opinion on it other then to say it knocks back, it detoggles, I think it even stuns, good for pvp perhaps not so much in PvE.
Offender : There are probably better powers out there, worth a look since its change
Defender : Possibly a slot better spent elsewhere.
Pointless Facts :
1. Used to be target able only on allys, so useless in a solo defender build but controllers could still use it on pets.
2. used to have a 100% to drop a toggle in pvp upon hit, recently changed I dont know the new figure.
Repulsion Field, The little brother of force bubble but just for you, it has a few draw backs, it drains end for each time it hits a target so if a foe with knockback resistance stands next to you your end will drain quickly, people can still get in melee range and provided they have knockback resistance they will land a hit. It has a few advantages to, it interrupts stalkers AS in pvp, who doesnt love to drop into a group of hellions and have em fly off in a matrix-esque burly brawl style scene.
Offender : Preferable to Force bubble more solo friendly.
Defender : Take it if you want it, probably not all that useful since you wont be in range to use it often.
Pointless Facts
1. Can detoggle foes in melee range in PVP.
2. DOES suppress travel powers
3. Can be used to draw a lot of agro off a suffering tank.
Dispersion Field. Take it. Love it.
Detention Field, one of the best kept secrets of the bubblers, imagine a hold that no tank could resist, that bosses fell victim to in one application, and meet detention field, not a true hold in the strictest sense of the world since the foe its applied on can still effect themselves but nobody else, think of it as a forced phase shift great for giving your tank a few extra seconds to allow dull pain to recharge, or for keeping a boss outta action while you clean up the minions. It has a small accuracy bonus so can work straight out of the box, best used with a xxx is bubbled do not attack style bind
Offender : Integral to my offending play style, some may not like it try it at least once.
Defender : If you need another defending power imagine how much damage you can prevent by removing someone from a fight for a certain length of time, best used near the start of the site so you dont give the enemy a safe haven to heal to much.
Pointless Facts
1. Was once able to be used permanently on a single foes, with ED no longer.
2. Really annoys stalkers in pvp when they're lining up a AS
3. Can be stacked on an AV/Monster
4. No need to tank hami if you have enough bubblers DFing him whilst the mitos are getting cleaned

5. A single target (thus slightly more accuracte version of Dark's Black Hole and Gravitys Dimension Shift.
Thats the end of my little tour of high level bubbles, hope you enjoyed your stay, the gift shop is open till 5.
