Agreed, great trailer Mr. Mirage. I especially thought the song choice and voice overs were pretty strong.

I have 5 out of the 6 pieces slotted in my Fortunata's Psychic Scream, and so far I'm really liking it. The proc adds a little bit of extra control to one of my main AoEs, and the ATO's set bonuses are a noticeable improvement over the old positron's blast, at least in upping the power's damage.

I'm usually pretty tight on inf, so my build doesnt have more than one purple set. By replacing the 6.25 recharge bonus from Positron's blast with the ATO's recharge bonus, it gave me a little more flexibility in relocating the recharge bonuses without bumping into the rule of five.

When I was leveling up my Grav/Nrg dom I too went through that same kind of situation. Originally I was thinking of picking up the Psionic Mastery app with the hopes that World of Confusion might add more control to my character to make up for some of Grav's shortcomings, but realistically the power is just flat out bad.

Personally, I'd agree that the Fire app would probably be the best choice. With Ice your overall controls might improve a little, but not by much. Going with Fire would allow you to play as a stronger AoE and Single target blaster-type with decent, reliable controls, and it would benefit both group and solo toons more overall.

I'd probably add another vote for Aliens 3 for this thread had I seen it all the way through. I remember sitting and watching it for 20 minutes on TV and thinking the whole time that it just had to be a straight-to-video release.

Staying on topic of the Alien franchise , was I the only one a little put off by Bill Paxton's performance in Aliens? The lines "Game Over, Man!" and "It's a Bug hunt!" were better uttered by Tom Servo and Crow on the "Manos the Hands of Fate" episode of MST3K.

Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie, but I was SO glad when his character was killed off.

I liked the new X-Men movie a lot too. Some of the pacing, especially near the beginning of the movie, was a bit too fast, and some of the character development for a lot of the supporting characters was kinda weak. Most of that, though, seemed to be because the studio was really just trying to cram a lot of content into a two hour movie. Overall I thought the early relationship between Magneto and Professor X was done REALLY well.

The OP mentioned they were thinking of taking the Psionic Mastery APP at a later level, and after briefly looking over some of the powers it definitely seems like a slightly more control-focused APP. How dramatic an improvement in control would taking a power like "World of Confusion" be?

This topic has sort of answered some of my questions regarding Crab pets and their usefulness. For the most part on my level 41 Crab, I've completely ignored the pets and stuck with Crab, Leadership, and Fighting pool toggles along with Crab Aoe.

When it comes to single target damage, are the pets mandatory, or is Channelgun + Longfang enough for most of the higher level content while soloing?

My Huntsman, which has been my main for at least a few months, I named Huntsman Herzog. I also have a Crab spider named "Torturantula", which started life as a Bane before switching half way through. Finally, I have a newish Bane spider named "Operative Reinhardt" that I'm having trouble mustering the interest in lately. Not sure why, although my Huntsman has more than dominated my playtime for quite a while.
