  1. Sorry I didnt link it for simple stupidity of not knowing how. Next time I will look for an answer as to how to do that before simply reposting in a suggested forum.

The person helping in the other forum suggested I link to my post over here because the actual tech people "hang out" here. And he/she had gotten to a point where they were unable to answer my naive questions.

Thanks to all those who look adn sorry for the inconvienence.
  2. Hey guys and gals,

I am hoping someone on here more tech savy than myself can help me out. I have about $500 bucks to spend to get a cheap but hopefully decent Puter to play on.

Here is what i am looking at.

    Computer starting: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16883103371

I am a little tech retarded when it comes to upgrades. So if anyone has suggestions or knows of something better please lemme know.
  3. No they all got junked by the ex. She didnt believe I needed to keep old broken parts around. As for the graphics I just want decent. You know no stuttering. I dont need them to be amazing but Nice would be great.

I am not set on anything other than I only have about $500 to put something together.
  4. Essentially everything. It was a plastic Case and hit the ground from the near top of the moving van.
  5. I dont have a computer at the moment. It actually broke while moving. I am on work computer typing this lol. What I was thinking was taking the above mentioned computer and adding the other parts that I listed to it. But I am not sure that will work or if its a good idea.

This is the spec for the starting computer listed above. I am looking at upgrading the video card and powersupply and more RAM. The links to the stuff I am looking at as upgrades are in the first post.
