2nd team just finished. Somewhere between 8 and 9 hours in total

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Gratz to the 2nd team

I think it was about 0140 (UK) when we called a halt, so that's about 5 and a half hours so far! The trek continues at 8.00pm tonight. Hopefully the last lot of missions shouldn't take us too long. It may be a while before I return to the Shards!
  2. Caverns Trial is timed (90 minutes). If it weren't for the SS TF I'd be up for this with Tridento
  3. Heals at the ready - Robo Medic MkIV is available
  4. The latest patch should have sorted the TF bug, so.......

    Are we back on?

Robo Medic now at Lvl 42, and with Fly & Recall Friend
  5. Congrats on the badge hunting.

Pity I missed it, but had to reboot after the Hami raid had caused me problems.

Shout out if you do it again!
  6. if you see me online (@Cambo) shout out - I have a Level 41 that may be able to help

    Leaving for now

A victory for the good guys/gals!

Always nice to see someone staying, especially given the circumstances.
  8. Don't be gone too long Aerie! But whilst you are, have fun.
  9. Big gratz to the Goonies! Always a pleasure teaming with a Goon

EDIT: yay! post number 300 - not bad in 22 months

    Leaving for now

Hopefully the unfortunate circumstances that herald your departure will be smoothed over, given some time. I think I'd be the same if someone deleted my toons.

All the best Elly, and hopefully see you back online before long!

I should be there with Odins Son for targeting and then switch to my controller War Rock for the holding phase.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Must remember that! Last time I was distracted so set Tridento to auto-follow Odins Son with Focus firing off on auto. When I focussed back on the raid we were all stood on Cowards Hill. Didn't even think that Odins Son hadn't taken part in the Hami brawl phase so didn't realise that I hadn't registered a hit on Hami. Soon found out come the end of the raid.

    D'oh!
  12. By the sounds of it, there will be lots of action for an empath defender, so I offer the services of Robo Medic MkIV
  13. Should be there with Tridento. BUT....I will make the effort with Robo Medic to get to 45, just so some more love can go towards the hami tanker.

Um, so, lvl 41 empath defender lft over the next 7 days!
  14. Congratulations!!

    Enjoy your kheldian

P.S The best moment ever? Tridento used a bind for mistake while was using our mighty targeter: "Odins Son, may I borrow your brain? I'm building a moron"

    [/ QUOTE ]

That's what I get for trying to send a text to Plight during the raid, look away from the keyboard and instead of hitting a number for a power, hit my "insult" bind. Whoops!

And, when is the next one? I may even put the extra effort in and get Robo up to the required level. Can never have too many empaths
  16. Yay us! Well done HH & Capt Alpha, it went smooth and from the time of being asked to enter the Hive, to the goo exploding, it took 1 hour 15 minutes.

    Well done defiant
  17. That's what I like to hear, Hami getting wise to the raids. AI in the goo. Sunday evening should be interesting.
  18. [ QUOTE ]
Ok... Ok... so what exactly are you guys suggesting I do then? Scrap a monster patrol, hope for the best and have 8 extra people for the mito? (Not a rant, just a straightforward question)

    [/ QUOTE ]

My thoughts are to still have a designated GM team, but rather then all 8 waiting to one side a couple could be outside the goo patrolling. When they see danger they can alert their team and take care of the GM, then return to 2 patrolling, 6 helping with mitos. I think it's simple enough, and provided the GM team leader is on TS then communication is straightforward with the rest of the raid.

My post was just to alert people to the fact that being on the GM team does not necessarily mean a night of action fighting GM's.

At the end of the day, I'm happy to use my scrapper where best needed, or directed, by the leaders.
  19. The mito part of the raid is a lot more fun than GM watching. On at least two raids where OotCS provided the GM team, no GM aggro'd. Result - 8 bored people watching the clearing phase, well 7 anyway, Abu kept doing the super speed around the goo to make sure there were no GM's coming close. So he ended up dizzy instead of bored!!

If I have the choice, I'll go for the mitos everytime. Just need to stock up on some new jokes for the hold phase
  20. Captain A, if you need any more just shout out, otherwise the swords will be in with the mito clearers, PA droppers et al
  21. Tridento will be there, and i'll linky to the ootcs site to drum up recruits

After a good sleep and some slapping (literaly) some sence back into reality by a friend, i did made a big mistake of taking down the forum that fast. Blind anger makes you do weird things unfortunatly.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Sleep, amazing stuff that Good to hear that you have a friend at hand to help put things in perspective.

Anyway, my friend is taking over Encore account for the time being, still has a few weeks active. I will revert the website tonight, although someone next to Plight need a mod-status for a bit of 'control' on the site. (to ruby, i never trow something away that has value to me, call it a anger-panic-button).

    [/ QUOTE ]

...and thank heavens for that button! As I seem to spend the most time sat on the site (bless the work firewall) I am happy to be a moderator.

  25. Whilst not aware of what exactly was said (English is my one and only language, unless you count Australian of course!) it obviously touched a nerve with Sin. Trying to discuss and sort it out in the middle of a base raid was probably not the best approach for resolving the issue.

Once it was realised what was going on the base raid came to a quick end (we were being handed our butts anyway). The damage has been done and we have to pick up the pieces and move on.

I'm sorry to see Sin go, as it's never nice to lose members of a SG. It is a touch frustrating that the website was taken down so quickly. (Sin - if you read this, can you please email me and let me know what is required to set up the website elsewhere - or is everything now lost forever?).

Hopefully the friends that Sin has made, both inside and outside the SG, will hold more sway than what happened last night.
