Ahhhhh, new list, I was looking on the old one, silly me
  4. You missed out Adrastea, lvl 50 PB
  5. Replying to this post you said not to reply to ... but ... is this open to anyone or just your SG?
  6. Well done Mighty, another well deserved 50, glad you managed to find an alt you liked in the end ... even if it was on the dark side, pesky villains.
  7. I have tried to slot all three forms relatively evenly. Nova form has 1 end mod, and 2 acc encs, with the attacks having 3 dmg encs. Dwarf has 4 res and 2 end mods all the attacks being slotted with 2 dmg/1 acc/1 rec. And human form is a mixture of slotting. I have also refused to take any pools with her, she is purely PB powersets.

If I am solo against even level or lower mobs I will tend to switch between human and nova to give the fastest run through the mission. Nova where possible and human for bosses and other nasties.

In a large team I tend to switch between nova and dwarf for max damage when possible and extra tanking when things get sticky.

In medium teams where I don't know the people that well I will start in human form, as that is most versatile, and switch as I learn where my place in the team is.
  8. And there was me thinking I had a bag of opera singers up my jumper :S
  9. Sounds like a good idea, hope it takes off.

And everyone else who posted here, I hope you realise how badly it reflects on the forums when anyone new to the forums posts they immediately get shouted down over every little detail. I have found the forums to be very elitist of late and I hope this is a trend that will stop, or it will quickly become a private little clique.
  10. Callista will be up for getting fried again!!
  11. Brain melting ... Cannot continue .... need cab ...

We did it, it took 9 hours and 6 minutes, we actually really enjoyed it up until the last 3 missions where it started to drag ... a lot.

On the bright side we all got the badge, plus 2 people leveled, plus 4 other people got other badges from random stuff. Also 5 people off the team nipped off for an hour during the mission, 1 due to a broadband failure and 4 went to watch Dr Who.

    Thanks again to:

    Me!!
    Psionic Healer
    SinghMC
    Story Kitty
    Plasmarch
    Seriphos
    Lady Persephone
    Lord Montague
  12. Right well so far the team building is ok, we may have to con someone into coming at the last minute but the team looks like so ...

    We have confirmed:

Callista: Lvl 50 Grav/Rad Controller (with fly and TP)
    SinghMC: Lvl 50 Kat/Regen Scrapper
    Serios: Lvl 41 DM/DA Scrapper
Lord Montague: Lvl 44 Emp/Psy Defender

    Possibles:
Storm Kitty: Lvl 44 Storm/Elec Defender ... Bizarely for a storm/elec is expecting major ligntning storms in their country and therefore might not make it because of that!!
Plasmarch: Lvl 50 Br/SR Scrapper ... If he can be out of bed in time
Azulia: Lvl 50 Ice/Storm Controller ... Depends on some cryptic 'other event' that may be going on this afternoon.
Protagonist: ... Depends on the day

Thos who can't come but would like to:
Fire_B: Who in all fairness seems he would much preffer to be on the TF than at a wedding. Lets hope it's not his wedding ...
Doc: Who had it pointed out to him he was posting on the WRONG SERVER message board :P

Can we meet at 1:50 at Dr Quarterfield in the shards for a start at 2. If serios wants to stop and watch Dr Who, depending if no one else wants to go it may be a good idea for us to carry on as much as possible or risk this running on really late.
  13. Very good, very natural looking characters, humanises them really well.

I should get you to draw Calli' for me
  14. Thanks for the replies so far, this is the epic of all TF's, probably be a good 8 hours if we plan to take a couple of small breaks to keep us sane. So you have been warned, I do plan to do this all on the Saturday barring disaster. Thanks for the offer of alts Fire_B. Just to let you know we will be running this TF on heroic, I think anything else would be madness!!

If anyone signing up can say what AT they want to bring or if they have a selection then we can try and get a good balance.

    The lowdown ...

Dr. Quarterfield (Lv 40-44, Eight Heroes Minimum, Estimated Time: Seven Hours Thirty Minutes)
    [Portal Smasher badge]

It's the task force that never ends. It just goes on and on, my friends... Well maybe not quite, but close. Dr. Quarterfield is the first of the four Shadow Shard task forces and, similar to Positron in the classic task forces, they chose to make the first one both the longest and the most tedious. You'll really want at least one team member with either Fly or Teleport plus Recall Friend to aid the team in traveling around Firebase Zulu. Travel in the Shard is always fairly difficult, and many people are not very well acquainted with the gravity geyser system. Additionally, at least four people must be present for the last few missions as several of them involve clicking on four glowies simultaneously. (UPDATE: I have a report that when someone did this task force with exactly four heroes, the simultaneous glowie missions actually "scaled down" to two simultaneous glowies. So if you run low on team members toward the end of this marathon, it may still be possible to complete it.)

The task force itself consists of no less than twenty two missions. Most of which are either defeat alls or are arranged so that you pretty much need to defeat all to get people to all the glowies you have to simultaneously click on. The missions tend to be fairly repetitive also, and at two points during the task force you actually receive four missions in a row with the same map and mission objective! Additionally, the second half of the task force involves frequent travel between Firebase Zulu and Paragon City. And the final mission is (get this) a defeat all... with no archvillain... in an Oranbega map. So the completion of the task force tends to involve the team madly scrambling around Oranbega trying to find which nook or cranny that last CoT or Rularuu mob is hiding in. Talk about anticlimactic! You'll be fighting Rularuu, Crey, Nemesis, and Circle of Thorns during this task force. Primarily the Rularuu and Crey.
  15. I think the title of the topic covers it, who is up for doing Shadow Shard #1 Saturday 8th at 2pm? It is the last TF that Callista needs. The team so far is

    Callista: Lvl 50 Grav/Rad Controller
Plasmarch (possible): Lvl 50 BR/SR Scrapper
Storm Kitty (likely): Lvl 44 Storm/Elec Defender
  16. Well done

Good to have teamed with you on the way.
  17. This is why I have given up any hope of soloing my PB at the moment. I'm doing malta missions, and found a mob with 2 sappers and a void seeker, who do you kill first? Suffice it to say I killed none of them and ended in a trip to hospital myself, actualy was quite annoyed by that!!
  18. [ QUOTE ]

I'd suggest if we want to transfer them we stagger the transfer in case we have 2/3 of the holding group loosing target together and have hami break free

    [/ QUOTE ]

You could always nominate a Singularity (mine for example) that people can target through, and I won't re-summon it at any point during the holding phase, that way you can be sure that one won't lose target. I'm sure if I had it targeted the whole time you could target me and do a /assist to get to the singularity ...

    [/ QUOTE ]

Not that I'm a raving egotist or anything ... but ...

    I'm in this one

I'm lobbing a fireball from the top left of the shot, really well timed snap too!!
  20. I'll be there, I'll try not to get my singularity squashed this time too.
  21. Callista

    Plaque Attack

sorry cap, looks like I'll be doing the sister psyche TF tonight instead ... but please let me know if this goes ahead again, I'd really like to do it
  22. [ QUOTE ]

    Anyone interested? we'll need the following;
    1) Someone with 45+ carnie arcs
    2) Large team
    3) Patience

    [/ QUOTE ]

Just FYI, if you don't have any carnie arcs you can find MI's around in PI. I did this with a team of 6 lvl 50's, I think we found 5 spawn points in the end, we had a MI each and just patiently kept going.

Number 2 will help move things along nicely and you will definately need lots of number 3.
