Is the flashback feature just going back and doing old missions or is there more? Based on how it was worded, and the news articles it seems like there is more to this than meets the eye.

Anybody find it odd that Jackson Turner has not filed a news article since late 2005. suddenly files 2 from what appears to be a different time stream and suddenly goes missing?

Random theory time:


It was said that I11 would contain something that people have been asking for...something big.

It is also apparent that time is being altered in some way, but as heroes and villains we are not directly changed yet.

So, here is my theory.

I11 will introduce the one thing that everybody wants, but nobody believed was possible. Game altering events. Missions that, depending on if you win or lose will alter game zones drastically.

Recluses Victory was the test zone for this type of event. The invasion took it to another level. All the mechanics are in place.

So, my thoughts are a time-travel task force/strike force. Depending on who wins the zones shifts, contacts disappear because they are dead, Contaminated litter the streets.....chaos!!!!

At least we can keep the memory of Krunch alive.

I can hold my own in the PVP zones, but I really do not enjoy it for long periods of time.

Plus I solo alot, and PVP is really a team event.

From reading your post it would seem that the fire aura set is currently balances based on the usage if Fiery Embrace. I cant say I like that concept myself.

I think some of the feedback you will see is based on the role of a tank in the team. On a 8 person team, does the damage output from a fire tank provide any benefit to the team when the blasters and scrappers are already outputing more damage than is needed?

Some thoughts on Detonate -

I have never used it with my Assault bot. The big bot is my baby, so I would not blow him up if I can help it. Instead I use one of the small guys in combo with seeker drones. I have a keybind for Def-Goto, then the key next to it sets off the power. Send out seeker drones, then him. Once his health starts to drop I blow him up and re summon. Fun fun 3 slot for damage for the best effect.

Personally I slot seeker drone with acc debuf...it is a nice little bit of added protection .

Thanks, but I was looking for abit more info...like where does the rest of the damage go. Does the MM take the rest, does it distribute between the other henchmen...is it just lost forever.

played around a bit with it tonight. Did find some PVE uses for it...mostly for when I run into the center of a large group, taking the alpha, and drop poison grenade. I was also able to easly tell my bots to attack and then set them to defend follow. If there first shots hit they would continue the attack while giving me the protection.

Not a bad ability overall, and I can see some of the use for PVP.

Bah...sorry, got my math the wrong way. But still, what happons if your minion can not absorb his share?

Question...how is leftover damage handled?

For example...and I am simplifying it quite a bit

you have 1 minion out. That minion has 100hp

As I understand it if you take 150damage, you get 1 share (50) and the minion take 2 (100), killing the minion. What happons if you take 200 damage? The minion can not absorb his 2 shares. Is the damage left on the MM or is it lost?

This sounds cool and all, but am I the only one who thinks it is a bit useless?

From my personal experience, if I am taking a large amount of damage, it is because my pets are dying. Having them take more damage is no benefit to me at all. Even when I am taking damage, it is usually not too much for me to absorb, and I get poison trap down before the next wave.

I guess in PVP it may have more of a benefit, or if I really wanted to tank with my MM...but is there really that much benefit for standard PVE play?
