Alright, I'm halfway through whats on the Handbook and adding more - I do however need input. Do you have something thats not on the Handbook? Or is anything above vastly out of date?

So quick intro from me; I'm Bunny (though this is likely set to change come the merger) and I perhaps try to organise too much on Union but at least I'm eager!

I am one of the moderators of the Union Handbook, one of the leaders of RPSG The Foundry and one of the leaders of the RPVG The Corporation. Both groups are active, covering RP in missions, base and occasional jaunts to Pocket D. We have our own ooc chat channel but are generally available on the Union Roleplayers channel and welcome people interested in joining us on our forums.

I'm also big on creating roleplay friendly bases and coalitioning them to other peoples. Most notably I have The Succubi Club, a redside hedonistic nightclub and Justice Row a base designed to be a block in Kings Row (IC it is located near the police station) with shops, places to eat and drink and have evenings out.

I'm a big supporter of bringing the community together in big events, things that invite everyone no matter where they usually RP to come together for fun and general mingling. I'm just finishing off the Gladiators event, the RPVP event Dante mentioned.

In the past I've run the Mercenaries Ball and plan to run another some time in the next couple of months (and maybe another again at the end of summer as a celebreation of server list merger!). And I've helped @oreso with The Foundry's cocktail parties which have been a lot of fun.

Like Dante, I am happy to chat to anyone from Virtue who's thinking of coming to join us for RP, I can answer questions as best I can or just generally babble and be friendly! If anyone, from Union already or visiting from Virtue, is ever interested in hosting a community event just yell and I'd be happy to help, be it just advice or more input!

The knockout stage is well underway! Matches took place this weekend and will continue to take place during the week.

Grab myself or @oreso ingame to arrange matches. Please try to get matches done before Saturday 19th of March. That's this Saturday as that will be our grand final event! This is also the cutoff point for Gauntlet runs.

Yes, tomorrow at 10pm is the point the finalists for all leagues will be announced and people have until then to get their matches in if they can.

TODAY:

Unfortunately @oreso won't be around this evening and I won't be around during the day. So the plan for Gladiators matches is as follows:

League matches can still be scheduled, please contact @oreso during the day and @Bunny during the evening if you would like a ref. Remember you have until tomorrow evening to get your matches sorted - you will be awarded 1 point for every match in your league you are unable to organise in time.

We are still good to do team fights today, that said however during the day I am out as is my husband (@Alcione) so a couple of teams will be down a couple of members!

TOMORROW:

I will be arriving at the cages in Pocket D soat 5PM to start the RP. This evening's matches will focus on the Team League - join a team or make one!

As team stuff has been slow we are implementing the following for ease:

* A team may challenge any other team
* A team may only have 2 qualifier fights (This is to stop a more active team challenging everyone and getting points that way. It also encourages people to alt around to help other teams with a different character ec)
* The two teams with the most points will be put into a match against each other in the finals week to determine the overall winners.


10 PM: At 10PM it will be announced who from all of the qualifiers will be going through to the knockout stage and who their opponents will be.

Team matches can carry on after this announcement.

Thanks to everyone who came it's always good to see so much mingling. Was happy to see Starjet getting to talk to some Militia types (I unfortunately sucked a little at mingling!)

An update, ooh! I decided the first episodes will be devoted to a qualifier group each. I apologise in advance for fights missed by me that won't be in these shows but I will be recording all fights from the knockout stage.

As some qualifiers are rounding up quicker than others my first video is Episode 6, Part 1. So IC, yes it would be the sixth episode but I've uploaded it for ooc viewing. I had hoped to get part two done today but I am filled with an icky cold-ill thing. I started with episode 6 as Mystic Maiden was the first qualifier group to finish.

An update from me:

Sorry for being so quiet! real life combined with the allure of those weekly strike targets and wanting to fit in other RP has nommed on my time.

Fights have gone ahead ingame and as we're approaching week 3 of our 2-3 weeks to resolve matches consider this your 'hurry up!' warning. If you have a character needing to do qualifier matches get them in now!

I will be organising more weekend events at the start of next month;

March 5th & 6th Pocket D, 8PM onwards. Team League matches!

Come one come all to take part in and observe team league matches! As these have proven trickier to organise, I thought I'd give some dates when they can be more easily handled. If you're interested in fighting but don't have a team, come along I'm sure you'll be able to find 3 other likeminded people!

On the 6th we will be announcing who has gone through to the knockout stage of the other Leagues and who they will be facing off against.


March 12th & 13th Pocket D, 7PM onwards. The knockout matches! (I hope to handle the bulk of them over this weekend - if weekends aren't good for a pairing we can take it to another evening in the week)


This should (hopefully) lead to grand finals on the 19th or 20th if not all matches are resolved on the 12th & 13th.


About the videos:

"ZOMG! Where are the videos?!"

I've been asked this in various forms a few times. The simple answer is 'still in editting' I have a large array of demo files and have been trying to wrestle them into a paletable TV show. I unfortunately lack inteviews and fillers so I'm having to reformat ideas I had in my head to make them work - and demo editting and video making does take time!

ICly: matches and a little backstage gossip would be streamed live and the videos I'm working on is an editted show that airs a little later; a recap as it were. Once the qualifier stages are complete I should have several of these episodes to finish editting and get out to you guys.

Backstage Gossip

Captian Boarder was spotted stealing a cheeky kiss from our presenter Natalie after she congratulated him on his progressing to the next round of competition. Natalie seemed a little shocked before shaking her head and continuing with her presenting work.

Boarder also seems to have been getting on very well with his fellow Pure League competitor Tarana, the two agreeing they needed to meet again in private some time.

Iron Anderson objected to being in the same qualifier as 'the leech', Elizabeth Bathory and refused to fight her, instead chosing to fight Common Sense.

Three of the members of qualifier group Ruin, Common Sense, Discontent and most vocally, Hella Hardcore started to rally for the removal of Elizabeth Bathory from the competition. Hella after fighting the countess and having seen her fight fellow members of Team Hardcore claims that Bathory is not agressive enough in fights, disregarding the rules. She claims she lets her henchmen do all the work whilst flying too high - Sense had difficulties getting within range of her, and in her fight against Discontent she fled entirely leaving her competitor only with her minions. Hella also tried to raise the point that Bathory is a poor sport, after winning her battles she is overeager to continue sending her minions after an opponent having done this with both Hella and Discontent. In the fight with Discontent the Countess even personally attacked her opponent despite the fact Discontent had stopped. The present referee spoke with Elizabeth Bathory, going over the rules, and whilst didn't issue a warning was heard to utter something about 'a warning of a warning' seeming too intimidated by the vampire to do more.
