Thanks for replying,
I misinterpreted the MezRes% in Mids'. The "Info" tab of the stats window says "MezRes: 60.55%. If only I'd checked the "Effects" tab. It says "Status Effects -Immob 60.55". I knew I had to be wrong about that. Thank you for understanding what I really wanted to know & tactfully correcting my stupidity, Hopeling.
JuliusSeizure, amazingly, you answered a question I wished I'd asked. "What are some of the the other selling points of Weave?" Impressive...most impressive.
Back in the "old days", I was obsessed with proving not every build had to have have Hasten & Stamina. My new white whale seems to be the Fighting Pool. I don't mind it as much with my Brutes & Scrappers. They can deffinitely use the extra damage mitigation & usually skip their tier 1 attack.
But, having to take Boxing/Kick as a Tank just plain sucks. So, I'm left to wonder; "How indestructible does a Tanker really need to be?" My general impression is that Brutes/Scrappers need Tough/Weave to reach Tank survivability. Tankers are already nigh indestructible. Therefore, what a Tank needs is to find ways of improving their damage output. And the Fighting pool seems a big hurdle to that end.
But what do I know. A few hours ago I thought Weave now provided MezRes to holds....
I'd love to hear more experiences & selling points on the Fighting pool. Especially in the context of endgame content and IO slotting.
Thanks again guys. -
I've been away a few years & I'm respecing all of my toons. And the Tankers, Brutes & Scrappers are about to make my head explode.
I have a general understanding of how status protection works in PvP now, i.e. MezRes instead of mag. Which seems to make the +MezRes of Weave a must have for every AT in PvP.
But, what I'm concerned about is endgame PvE. Can AVs/Heroes break through my status protection? Does the +MezRes of Weave even help in PvE? If so, how likely is it to be needed?
Thanks -

If you're ever in Austin stop by Waterloo Records & ask for "DC" (my nickname). There are 6 people working there who still play. -
I have 2 demos that won't play. I assumed it was because I forgot to use /demostop before exiting. But that shouldn't be the case, right?
The maps are the Clockwork King at the end on Synapse's TF & the Eden Trial. I tried looking at the end of the files & they appear to be the same as the end of a working file.
Are the maps bugged? Any editing hints that might fix them?
Thanks -
Confuse is confusing.

not only av's but the turrets. The reason I wanted no debt? so casuals dont get discouraged and go back exclusively to pve. As is, if this were on live, even if I were a dedicated pvper which I am not, pver mostly, either I'd the debt cap quickly thanks to the potence of the turrets, bosses everywhere, and the signiture toons, or I'd be spending most of my time malefactoring away the debt.

Yeah I'd say make the signature heroes give 0 debt....I got 2 shot-ted (spelling?) a couple times....I think Positron was the weaker of the ones I fought (granted he's all energy and elec brutes have good energy resists but...).
Oh and what is up with the extreme aggro. range of mobs/signature heroes and their really long attack range(s)?!
I was jumping away from Synapse one time and then outta nowhere...BAM, I'm dead because Positron hit me with Neutrino Bolt
I had Positron/others chase me around for quite a bit....not good

I deffinitely agree. I came here to mention the same thing. 2 of my 4 defeats in a few hours of playing were against Posi & Synapse.
I really enjoyed the experience & had only 1 complaint, the debt. -
You can't just let people with def enhancements in Wet Ice keep them. That's not balancing.
I'm not so sure I like trading Chilling Embrace's -recharge for some -damage. It sounds like a bit of a wash. And running that power at low lvl is very costly in endurance too.
How about adding a heal component to Wet Ice, like Rooted? I don't think you'd hear much complaing about lost def enhancements if you did that.
